Breathtaking views. I went there for drinks and was very well accommodated. Great list of mocktails and alcool free wines if you are into that.

Absolutely perfectly executed. Seriously. I ate here twice this week. Everything we tried was delicious and spot on. The menu is smart and varied. The wine list is good. The service is excellent. And the view! Even if you can’t get a window table ( they book up fast) the windows are floor to ceiling so all tables have natural light and a view. They were kind and unperturbed about accommodating my stupid food allergies. You need to eat here.Dietary restrictions: They are very kind about accommodating gluten free and dairy free

Do what you can to get a window seat! The views are gorgeous. The food was good, not great. My husband got the pasta and loved it. I got the filet mignon that was over cooked. It was remade and overcooked again. But the flavor was good. Our service was fantastic and the drinks were strong and delicious.

Pros: Outstanding views of Central Park and Columbus Circle. Aesthetically beautiful and wonderfully decorated; fun, colorful, romantic and very intimate/private. Great service from an accommodating, friendly and professional staff. Inexpensive. Non-alcoholic options available. Free small bites for the table. Vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options. Homemade ice cream and sorbets! Large portion sizes.Cons: No parking. Tight dining space. Limited/small menu. Food was okay/good; the braised lamb fell apart like butter, but flavor wise could have used some seasoning. The restaurant is labeled as Modern Classic American Cuisine but I struggled to find any dishes on the dinner menu that felt familiar or in this style.Crab Brussel Braised Scottish Pistachio Crème BrûléRaspberry ice Overall, I enjoyed dining at Robert. I would like to return to try brunch or lunch, and I would even try dinner again; overall I think the menu was interesting, ideal for those that are looking to try something new, without bold or overwhelming flavor. I would also love to experience a musical event, which they schedule regularly!Kid-friendliness: Children appear to be allowed, but I would not recommend bringing them as there is no children’s menu, and the setting is generally more romantic/intimate.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevators available for wheelchair access.

The waiter overheard me wish my friend a happy birthday and though I had said nothing to the restaurant, at dessert time they gave her a plate of little treats with a candle and “Happy Birthday” written on the serving dish. They also brought a dish of sorbet. Unasked. Very considerate. She said she had more good wishes from the staff than she did on her entire birthday (which had been a few days before). Anyway, we were both impressed. The crabcake was only ok but the courtesy, service and ambiance more than made up for it.

Book well in advance. Ask for a table facing the park. If you can grab a reservation at sunset it’s fantastic. This is a good restaurant in a great location with fantastic views. The food is consistently good.

Great food, great ambience, great view of Central park and Columbus Circle. 10/10.
So much underexploited potential! Service and location are good, but the food is blend, boring and expensive! The background music was so loud I couldn't hear my guest across the table.

We celebrated my granddaughter's 11th birthday seeing the Taylor Swift exhibition at the Museum of Art and Design, followed by brunch at Robert! She enjoyed this beautiful restaurant overlooking Central Park.

Expérience was absolutely great and the staff is very professional and kind. Food was excellent although Deserts would deserve a lighter texture and calorie count ;) But overall an excellent experience and a very elegant atmosphere. i highly recommend it ?
