We dined in as a group of five and shared four main dishes — the Lobster Pad Thai and Brussel sprouts were phenomenal! I also ordered the Sway Wayla cocktail which was amazing! The restaurant is quite cosy and small but there are lots of coat hangers around.
I recently dined at Wayla in the East Village and had a mixed experience. The food and service were both exceptional, but there were some issues with communication regarding reservations.I attempted to book a reservation through the Resy platform, where I was informed that by accepting the reservation, I was agreeing to be seated anywhere, including curbside, dinner room, or backyard.
