This is one of the friendliest restaurants on the UES, with consistently delicious food (we've been eating here since it first opened in 1990 or 1991, at another location). Try it once and you'll be a regular before you know it!!
It's a great neighborhood Italian restaurant. I've been ordering there on and off for 25 years. I don't eat there much anymore but I certainly have in the past. The new, First Avenue location is much smaller, but still an attractive space with the same delicious Italian appetizers, salads, pastas, entrees and wine selections at reasonable prices. In some ways, the intimate space is perfect for couples and small group dinners. I always enjoy my meal and the excellent service.
