Yummiez Waffles House

Nice service. Late opening (3rd time going and it was opened after at least 45 minutes after time listed). Grits watery, no ice in water, and smelled bad. People working there extremely nice. Food arrived to the table un a reasonable amount of time. Sadly, probably won't return.

I need to update my previous 2 star review . My second visit to Yummiez was markedly improved from the first . We were seated and our order was taken quickly , coffee came in a very reasonable time and tasted much better than it did on our first visit . Breakfast was great ! We did receive the correct order with nothing missing this time . Everything was cooked properly and was really delicious I had waffles, scrambled eggs , bacon and grits-all were perfect . Wanted to find somewhere different to go near NT for breakfast. If you go in looking for the food and not the atmosphere, you're gonna do just fine! Husband, wife, and son trying hard to make it happen. Fish (haddock) and grits, chicken and waffles - SO DAMN GOOD! Turkey bacon too! Ask for real butter for your grits, mix in your over-easy egg and (turkey) bacon, S&P...YUMMO. As good as the south. Waffle isn't belgian, flatter, softer, dessert style.
