“Stopped here on a recommendation from a few different friends. The atmosphere is nice, bartenders were friendly and the bar is nice and clean. The appetizer we had wasnt the best but it wasnt horrible either. We will be back again to try out some other food. “
“We just had our Christmas employee party here and we can't say enough good things about the service. Everything was so well organized with the round of games we played, the food was really good and the staff was excellent, very attentive and the rooms that were provided for us were extremely nice. We look forward to next year in having our party here again. Thank you for everything!!“
“The Best. Very clean and modern establishment with tons of TV's. Huge bar, and plenty of seating. The staff is absolutely outstanding from ownership down! Large selection of beverages. Now, onto their wings.... oh the wings. 50 cent wings for dine-in and they are OUTSTANDING. Big, crispy, juicy wings. I highly recommend the Cajun Garlic Parm and the Hot Garlic Parm flavors. They are absolutely INCREDIBLE!!“
“Holy. Smokes. I was craving corned beef since tomorrow is St. Pat's Day so I ordered a Reuben to go. It was ready on time, I was greeted promptly by a very nice staff member, and it was the BEST Reuben I have ever eaten. It's piled so high with meat, cheese, and sauerkraut I could barely finish it. So good!“
“Lots to par take in here, you can get a beer, wine or cocktail at the bar, get your bowling shoes on and go bowling or maybe just sit down and order some food.I chose the last option and with speedy service and a smile I got a white pizza and sweet potato fries. The pizza was hot and very tasty and the sweet potato fries were amazing and so huge and delicious. They have their own lot for parking too.“
“Brick House Tavern is one of the first places I think of when friends want to meet for drinks, casual dinner, or a late night snack. The food is always consistently good, especially the salmon, tater tots, and knockout shrimp, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The comfortable atmosphere and great staff welcome you to settle in and relax at the bar or a table by the fire. If you do choose to sit at the bar, you will likely have the good fortune of meeting Danny, who expertly presides over libations and spreads good will to everyone there. Danny takes the time to talk to each patron and easily makes connections with people, to the point where on return visits, he remembers what you usually order and suggests, or even designs new drinks for you, based on what he knows you’ll like. There is no better ambassador for Brick House than Danny, from his talent at mixology to his genuine interest in people and expertise in building relationships. Every time I go there, it’s like hanging out with a trusted friend or member of the family. Danny has bartended, served, and even has helped in planning several large gatherings that I have been a part of at Brick House. He truly gives his time and attention to every person in the party. Constantly in tune, drink refills seem to magically appear or he arrives to check in. Danny is an original and one of the reasons why Brick House Tavern and Tap is a regular spot for me!“
“Had an outstanding time here before the Chiefs-Bills divisional round game! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming from the moment we walked in, and Alex behind the bar let us get a few photos with some of their primo Chiefs memorabilia.Very comfortable place to watch a game and enjoy a tasty adult beverage with great service so you aren't left waiting for the next round. Looking forward to our next visit so we can dig into their food menu!Parking: Street parking outside the bar is available, and we were able to get a spot right by the entrance - it was great!“
“Small, clean and fun, this cozy venue offers excellent service at an extremely reasonable price. Modern jukebox and clean restrooms.Entertainment on some nights including outstanding karaoke on Tuesday from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m..You don't need a lot of money or talent to have a great time here!“
“Food was fantastic however the service was sub-par. Our waitress maybe checked on us 3 times: once to take our drink order, once for our food order, and when we asked for the check. We were constantly out of drinks and couldn't get her attention despite walking past us numerous “
“We came for the fish fry. The server was friendly, attentive, and willing to take time to tell us about the history of the place. The fish was cod, not haddock. It was tender and spot on flakey. That itself was a very pleasant change from a lot of other places. We will be back soon.“
“Sam at the bar is a fantastic and friendly bartender.Food is much better than you'd expect at a place called a Junkyard, in fact probably some of the best Bar Food around.Cleanliness is high-tier, seems to be highly cared for by the owner and staff.“
“Stopped in late last night and was greeted promptly by Chelsy, the bar tender. She was super quick to get my drink made and food rung in. Buffalo Chicken soup was good, though chicken was sparse. The Chicken Cordon Bleu pasta had a good amount of chicken and ham, and a good flavor. Very large portion of pasta! My drink was never empty. Thanks Chelsy!Parking: Over a dozen spots right along the front of the building. Seemed to be other parking nearby.“
“My husband and I went out to eat here on Friday to try their fish fry and it was excellent. The breading was unique and crispy and it didn’t taste like it was old gross fryer oil. The bar attendant was friendly and attentive. It’s a somewhat small place, I don’t believe their is actual waitresses, just order at the bar and they’ll bring you the food if you’re at a table. Overall a decent place for bar food with a great fish fry.“
“While on the north side of town we were looking for a lowkey inexpensive place to grab lunch. Man did we stumble onto a hidden gem in this place. Burritos everyday, mini tacos, boneless wings, a nice change of pace and everything was on point. For a "dive" bar, this place is fancy lol. Will definitely stop in for a snack whenever we're on this side of town!“
“It's a nice family restaurant! We went on a Thursday night and it was a little busy but nothing crazy. We did wait a while for our order but it was for a a large group of people. My minor complaints are the waitress never came back to our table to check on us after dropping our food off (everyone has always come back at least once). My husband even had to chase her down for the check. And my friend didn't finish his burger bc it was ordered well-done but it was more like medium well. Prices are fair for down home cooking though! Great selection of cocktails.“
“This was our second stop on our Wing Trail in Buffalo. It was a high recommendation from our waitress at Gabriele's Gate. It was dead when we got there at around noon on a Thursday, which was unusual. But the Garlic Parm wings were really good. Saucy, crispy, and very savory. And the Bucket O Beers was a great deal for a bunch of really good beers.“
“Jenna was the Bartender. && the other bartender was so wholesome!! They were both amazing and so much fun. They really helped with the vibe of the bar.. the music was on point. !!! I love this place. I've always loved it since I was in my younger 20's.They serve food til 12am which was perfect for a night of having a few drinks. Food was so good. Prices were perfect.. will be returning !!!“
“My favorite bar/restaurant in all of Buffalo, for a well-rounded night! I'm surprised it's not a common recommendation on wing lists as their wings, especially the weck wings, are 10/10. I'd recommend going Wednesday-Saturday so you can also get the Candyman pizzas (any of them, candyman style!), and sitting on the Candyman side for craft cocktails or Caputis side for a great beer menu. The section between Caputi's and Candyman has a pool table, dart boards, and a couple pinball machines so it really is the perfect spot for friends, dates, or even just to go by yourself and mingle with the staff and regulars.“
“It was my first time ordering food here. I was very surprised and very pleased. My fish dinner was A+.This place now is where i will be ordering all the time. I have been ordering in this area for 5 years, and nothing can compete with Mooney's. Thank you, Mooney's !“
“The food was excellent. We had the stuffed Hungarian peppers which were cheesey with an excellent marinara sauceand the fish fry was crispy and ? with homemade sides!the cannolis were the perefect treat to end the night. The servers were friendly and very attentive.“
“We went here for lunch one day and decided to try what they’re famous for, so we tried the medium wings, beef on weck and french onion soup. The wings were good, they were crispy and the sauce was your typical Franks based sauce. The beef or weck was ok, the meat seemed a little dry and it didn’t come with any au jus, but it was fine. The French onion soup was delicious; the broth was really beefy, the onions were soft but not mushy, the croutons were still fairly crispy and the cheese on top was delicious and perfectly browned and melted. All in all, a good lunch but nothing completely mind blowing.“
“As someone who really really really likes wings and had many birthdays at BW3 I can confidently tell you that these wings are superb, I got the Garlic Pram Wings and 10/10 crispy goodness, soft and tender meat, and all soaking in the mouthwatering garlic sauce, I didn't get but can say I saw someone's order of chicken fingers and those fingers are HUGE!!! The group I was with got different levels of hot and I was told it was pretty accurate but they live for the heat and would be happy if there was an even hotter wing. The staff were incredibly friendly and were able to sit out big party quickly. The staff were also very attentive and did a great job! Not taking off any stars but the one little comment I have is I don't like how low the stall doors are in the bathroom.“
“Order a take.out fish fry and its by far and away the best we've had in Amherst/Tonawanda. What a great meal fries, potato salad, cole slaw but the best part was the perfect piece of haddock. Crispy, flaky and moist. My reaction is WOW!!!“
“I can't say enough about how fantastic my experience was at this rather unsuspecting-looking bar and grill. More of the former than the latter, the back of the establishment features a smattering of cozy tables away from the bar where you can start by enjoying signature house wings (typical WNY style with a variety of flavor choices or southern style - which are breaded and then fried) and one of the largest alcoholic beverages I have ever seen in my life. As my friend informed me "you only need one and you're DONE, but it tastes so good you don't even know its alcohol."Said friend has been a regular for years and took me on a weekend, earlier in the afternoon; we found it quiet and semi-deserted - all the better to make conversation with the amazing lady running things, who was dressed in a colorful matching jumpsuit to shame Lady Gaga. Needless to say I loved her instantly. I genuinely felt like her grandchild within two minutes of sitting down. That is classic southern-style hospitality at its best and the pace of the ordering reflected that - no pressure to rush, eager to answer questions and chat, happy to offer advice on the menu. This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry and that is in no way a bad thing.Pandora's is especially famous for their soul food fish fries - a GIGANTIC platter of fish and sides that would daunt a professional eater. You get to choose between multiple types of fish, done multiple ways. I got catfish with corn meal batter, a hard to find combination in these parts I miss from my youth, and chose the collard greens over the green beans. A variety of other standard sides came with as well - potato salad, mac'n'cheese, corn bread and more. Unlike many places, who seek to cover up the use of cheap ingredients lacking flavor by giving you gigantic portions, every bit of this massive meal tasted like the most fantastic grandmother on the face of the earth spent all day in her kitchen just to make you happy. The flavor profiles, the textures, the absolute joy your stomach sent to your brain - it was like Fish Fry Christmas!I've never had "the itis" (food coma) so bad as this day, or the next when I ate the other half. Absolutely amazing on every level. I've heard they host grown folks dance parties too - i.e. no youngins allowed to break the mood with trouble. Low key bar atmosphere with an older crowd.“
“The corner bar- the cozy corner bar! Where the bartender will remember your name and knows you might have a Mich Ultra or might have a vodka/tea and ask which it will be! Their chicken wings are soo good and made to order. Easy going, laid back bar where you don't have to be a 'regular' to be treated with priority!“
