“I used to go this place fairly often Happened to stop by this morning and ordered Huevas Rancheros for breakfast The portion was huge and even better than the Mexican restaurant I used to order the dish from in Manhattan The whole dish was made like I imagine it would be in Mexico. The prices were very reasonable and being the table was outdoors under a tent, due to the Covid restrictions, the plate was even better.“
“I went to Rome in October 2023 and I wasn't able to eat the famous Italian panino, as the queue was huge and I didn't have much time. But I took advantage and when I was in NYC 2024 I went to the Times Square store and ate The Odd Couple, wonderful!!!!“
“The sandwiches ? ? are tasty ? as can be, I live in Harlem, I had to check ✔️ them out and it was worth the price and the drive over,,go get you 1,I bought 2,ooooh yeah!!!!Kid-friendliness: Can't go wrong ??Wheelchair accessibility: Yes , ground level“
“Feels like a tourist spot. $26 Ruben. $3 soda. The sandwich was awesome, you’ll just pay for it. Good spot for you to order online, pick up and go. Better to eat at a park near by, Not much room to eat inside. There’s a few tables out front. Trendy neighborhood, this place is not going anywhere. I would come back for sure.“
“Amazing breakfast sandwich. Chicken sausage was so good and flavorful, spicy mayo was perfect. Perfectly toasted brioche was the cherry on top. They have a full menu and specials like corn bread french toast and shrimp and grits, will try that next time. Cappuccino was really good. Few seats inside, handful of tables outside. Food was made to order and unexpectedly very quickly. We left and almost came back to get something to go for lunch. Staff went above and beyond to welcome us in... definitely recommend“
“I've been loving La Sandwicherie since their original food cart operation by McCarren Park. So glad they opened an official shop! The menu is well curated, all ingredients are quality, sandwiches are made to order and everything I’ve ever had here tastes fresh and delicious.“
“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. All the best on your growth plans!“
“Ordered the Italian hero, and they threw in a tuna roll too, absolutely recommend you give it a try, get away from the chain shops and try a real nyc deli! Fair price for a sandwich on the move, the business is 35 year old and lasted for a reason! All the best catch you next time!“
“- If your looking for one of the best burgers you ever had, or just something to stand out from the onslaught of restaurants in Times Square area, Dark Side Of The Moon is the place to visit. Not only is it one the best names in restaurant history, it is one of the best burgers I've had nationwide. What really stood out was their choice of exotic meats. You can choose from alligator sausage, kangaroo, bison, elk, camel and yak burgers and they even have wild boar tacos. The yak burger stood up to their claim that it is the best meat they offer. Never have I had such a flavorful burger. Who knew yak would be so delicious. The owner was not only the host but also the server and worked hard to make the experience memorable. It's always a pleasure to see an owner who cares enough to work the trenches to assure his diners leave happy and satisfied. Will definitely return as there is a plethora of menu options still to try. If you have a chance to stop by and try their burgers I suggest you do just that.“
“Don’t let the outside fool you, always walked past but the inside has a whole different atmosphere. It’s rather lovely and reminds me of France/Italy, fresh flowers and staff is amazing! Not to mention how amazing the food is! Some of the best food in Astoria, heaven for vegetarians. I’m not even vegetarian and the Charred broccoli panini is one of the best things and I’m not even vegetarian. Must try in Astoria“
“Been hearing about Joe's bar on the Taste Buds podcast. The fam and I were in NYC for vacation and coming here was a great decision. The sandwiches were phenomenal, beer was cold, service was friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in NYC!“
“I came here with a friend after roaming around the neighborhood while we waited for our table at Evelina. We walked in and immediately were drawn to the great selection of pantry items they had (sucker for colorful labels as well). I’m not a big cook so it kind of inspired me to want to try some recipes just to incorporate some of the items we saw. After looking around for a bit we walked out and decided we definitely wanted to come by another time to check out the sandwiches, well that some time turned into a few hours later when we got hungry again and wrangled our other friend to come to the shop with us.While looking at the menu the guy behind the counter was super nice and asked what we were in the mood for, while we looked over the wide selection of sandwiches he gave me a taste of the buttermilk fried chicken in the Korean sauce they had and WOW it was soooo tasty and juicy. I ended up getting the Korean fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw and pickled onions. My friends both got the friend whiting sandwich and they absolutely loved it.Call us creatures of habits but we ended up going back again the next day to try another sandwich because we were craving it so much! 1 whiting sandwich, 1 shrimp po boy and I got the chicken cutlet with Calabrian chili aioli and wow, someone needs to bottle that chili aioli and sell it!So happy to have such a nice neighborhood spot (just discovered it but I see they’ve been open since 2021) with such amazing customer service and great sandwiches. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“I adore culture lab!!!!! there is always something interesting going on, an exhibition, live music, events... during warm months= live music + beer (they sell it here) its the perfect plan! (there are also non alcoholic beverages available) its dog friendly!“

“They have one of the best roast beef sandwiches in Brooklyn they've been there 86 YEARS!!! WOW!!!If you get the knife and fork roast beef sandwich you MUST eat it right away if you wait too long the juice will make the bread soggy..thier roast beef is excellent I recommend either the knife and fork where they dip the whole sandwich in the greasy oily yummy gravy..omfg deeelicious!!!! Or you can have one half of the bun dipped in the gravy or have it dry just the roast beef in the gravy..I've been there twice and it's ALWAYS the same DEEELICIOUS 5 stars all around once you go once you WILL go back.i hope they're around 86 more years..an old fashioned restaurant SINCE 1938!“
“Delicious Rouben sandwich - great proportions of pastrami and sauerkraut. The bread is not an ordinary slice of white bread, but a deliciously toasted and slightly fatty slice. In my and my wife's opinion, one of the best Rouben sandwiches in NY. We will definitely come back at the next opportunity - hopefully as soon as possible.“
“John’s Deli is an incredible piece of Brooklyn history. Good food, friendly staff and one-of a kind atmosphere. They have many photos of celebrities and the whole place is a celebration of Italian-American history. I even got a free piece of merchandise from a manager! Take the D train there and try out the “JoJo the Whale” fried shrimp sandwich“
“Incredible people, even better food. My partner and I go to subhub 2-3x a week and have never had a bad experience. Reasonably priced (could probably charge more) and excellent food. Our favorite spot in the neighborhood!Kid-friendliness: Warm and friendly staff!“
“Nuru is very friendly and gives a good customer service. Every time I go there he knows what I want and how I want my sandwich. Quick service; the line move very fast with him. Also the Mexican man offer a very good customer service and he’s friendly too. Keep the good work!!! Thank you guys. ??????“
“I was around the area and I stopped by this place to grab a sandwich. By the time I stepped in the two employees welcomed me with a warm smile. I placed a to-go order of the turkey meatball sub. I waited for almost ten minutes while they were prepping my sandwich. The place was very clean and organized and my sandwich was delicious! Good job guys“
“Friendly service and amazing food. I normally do not like falafel, but I could not stop eating it. Truly delicious food. Tried and loved: falafel, hummus with terpanade, chicken panini, morrocan cigars, cuban grilled cheese, and prosciutto panini.“
“Stumbled upon this joint randomly on my way home and what a surprise! The staff is really friendly and explained some of the sandwiches for me, decided to get the Chimi with chicken and the lava cake. Both were delicious and not the mention the fair prices.Although they don’t have an indoor sitting area, they have a small outdoor hut if you’d like to stay and dine in.Truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood, can’t wait to try some of their other specialities!“
“Place discovered by chance (the Routard indicated the restaurant next door which we do not recommend for the welcome).Unbeatable value for money, very very generous and very very good. The welcome is excellent, even for a French person who speaks the language very poorly. Very fast service. Only very deserved “very” ones.“
“Their Gluten Free Bagels are amazing. I ordered online which was a mistake - it said it would take 45 minutes to be ready but when I walked over there 5 minutes later it was ready (phew!) and I think I was charge a fee. So ORDER but not online!Love love love the bagels.“
“I tried the place for the 1st time around 1 week ago. I've been back again I really enjoyed the chicken wings and my smashed bacon cheeseburger I tried a beer called a Cloud in the Sky it was awesome I will definitely be eating there again“
“Great service from a friendly crew. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. Menu is a bit weird but seems to be highly customiziable, probably a good place to order online so you can see all the options available. Not a ton of seating indoors (2 seats) but there's a few tables outside.“
“The vegetarian options are incredible!! So filling and definitely worth it for the price. Also the little boxes that they come in are unreal cute, I get too excited to pop them open. The Gobbler (pictured) is my fav!!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are just as creative and delicious as the meat options. It’s clear that the vegetarian/vegan sandwiches are not an afterthought for this place, they are a prioritized part of the menu!!! (The Gobbler is my fav- it’s thanksgiving in a sandwich!)Dietary restrictions: Vegan options are delicious, vegetarian sandwiches easily made vegan by subbing cheese and eliminating mayo!!“
“I usually don't eat this late, but I was starving and stumbled upon this place on Uber Eats. After Googling them, I decided to give them a try. The chop cheese sandwich was delicious. I'm excited to try another sandwich - it was fresh, and the bread was so tender. I must say, I'm impressed, especially after midnight.Gingercooksnyc ?“
“They run this ship tighter than the navy. I recommend ordering online and picking up — even with the swarm of Business Bros I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes, if at all. Every sandwich I’ve ever ordered has been great! Prices are standard for that of Dimes Square, maybe slightly lower. I salute the Toasties crew “
“I absolutely loved the Picnic Basket. I stumbled in here while visiting New York and I can't wait to visit again. I had a grilled Halloumi sandwich and the lentil soup they always have. The sandwich was fabulous but I could not stop talking about the soup! The staff was also very friendly and walked me through my order and recommended a special sauce I dipped my chips into. Love Picnic Basket!“
“Awesome deli with fantastic vegetarian/vegan options!I have tried the vegan Tex-Mex wrap, vegan Philly seitan, iKraveIt seitan and the simple vegan sandwich so far. All were delicious with my favorite being the Tex-Mex wrap. With a friendly staff, large portion sizes, and a few seats inside and a bench outside the deli, this place is amazing for cheap, delicious vegetarian/vegan sandwiches!“
“- outdoor seating was so cute and heated!- workers were extremely nice- underworld wrap was delicious especially with the chipotle mayo sauce (andy loved the sauce so much he decided to put some on his pants to save for later!)- there was so much steak packed in there- the tortillas were light and airy-overall good experience definitely recommend- and the sauce was free!!“
“It was such a refreshing change of pace to break away from the familiar chain restaurants that we can find anywhere and instead, experience what the locals do. Every morning, we made it a point to visit this charming spot for breakfast. The atmosphere was so cool and the food was simply delicious. And then, on our very last day of the trip, I was blown away by the amazing cheesesteak I had. Oh my God, it was incredible! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience. It's the perfect way to fully immerse yourself in the local culture and flavors.“
“This place 100% lives up to the hype probably seen some other sandwiches go viral on social media and it’s easy to see why! I literally drove over an hour to get here just to get a sandwich and it was incredible!Totally worth waiting in line for I got the FDNY, which is chicken cutlet the best homemade vodka sauce you’ll ever have in your life, and fresh mozzarella that was so delicious and melted in your mouth! I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu“
“Got a chance to try this place as I was in the area and wow was this a great sandwich! I got the mini and it was HUGE! The bread and all the ingredients were fresh and it was just a very amazing sandwich I got the Ruben with provolone and it was top notch definitely will be back to try more sandwiches!“
“I am now addicted to malawach: puffy, layered, crispy on the outside, chewy. The BEC+L malawach wrap was fantastic - even delivered, I got the layers. The added crunch from the latke pushed this sandwich into better than breakfast burrito territory. The dairy-free tahini coffee slushie was also excellent. Well-packaged, no spills.“
“I've been coming here for many yrs, I'm a semi regular and it's always a pleasure coming in. From Felicia being amazing and always having a positive attitude to my service and food always being great, this is def the best Subway I've been to, especially after the renovations. The woman with the braided bun was the star of the show today for making an early release of the footlong sidekicks to me (thanks to management too) I got the churro and cookie one and it's so good, def recommend trying.“
“I love that there's always parking. The place is clean throughout. Don't sleep on the fried shrimp here, it is consistently bomb. It's disappointing that they only have prepackaged tartar sauce and no other offering to go with it. I hate American Cheese but this is the one place I'll tolerate and at times, indulge in it with the fries. I love their orangeade and appreciate that they include a chunk of actual fruit in it. I've been a customer for years and probably will be so long as I'm in NYC.“
“Deliriously delicious shop in the East Village! The sandwich rolls were the best I've tasted in NYC and perfectly toasted. My love and I enjoyed The Hog, a vermicelli and meat salad with the best fish sauce, and a lamb taco. I especially was impressed with the cleanliness and food handling. Go to "about us" to read the interesting story of the two friends/owners who we were so fortunate too meet at Wheelers in Sheepshead Bay.“
“Wow. Really pleased with this. Split a chicken parmigiana hero. Delicious. Absolutely must split with someone or be really hungry. Excellent quality chicken, great tasting sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. I wish the bread was a tad better (got whole wheat), but was definitely fresh - just didn’t live up to rest of sandwich. Will try the other bread the next time. Go hungry and enjoy. Note that there is NO seating inside or out.“
“Amazing little spot that has excellent service, bagels and coffee! Coming from Canada it’s a joy to pop into places like this and still get amazing food. Going back for a bigger sandwich soon!Update: sausage egg and cheese is amazing. Better than the last one I had somewhere else!“
“Honestly some of the best sandwich food out there. The Hal is my personal favorite - they put this garlicky mayo sauce (I guess aioli? Lol) that's to die for, then the texture from the salt and vinegar chips? Chef kiss* perfection! I look forward to exploring more of their menu!“
“Food was a good size. It is 1$ more to swap to a wrap and 1$ for an extra egg but other wise great value. Place inside was nice to sit down at and staff was friendly. Will definitely be returning for breakfast again. Wanted to provide an updated menu for 2024 pricing. Enjoy !!!“
“This location has limited seating but is clearly a crowd favorite. I stopped by because I love pastrami and the reviews said so did Anthony Bordain. The pastrami sandwiches are approx. $24 but to be fair they are massive. I went for the half sandwich and half matze ball soup, which I poured into a bowl since I ordered takeout. Excellent soup, came with one large matzo ball. I particularly enjoyed the half loaf of rye bread which I proceeded to dip in the soup and the mustard packets. Not a fan of pickles but the lady in front of me ordered 6 extra ones so I am sure they're excellent. Overall, the sandwich was tasty and the meat was plentiful. It only took a few minutes waiting. I don't know that I would order their knishes or some of their other items not because they don't look good but because they pricey even for the neighborhood! $9 for a knish is outrageous. But if you're looking for a real NYC experience it's worth the wait for a table.“
“One of the best sandwich shops in the city. I try to get a new sandwich every time I come but I tend to go back to my favorites. You won’t be disappointed. This will make you spoiled for other sandwich spots, I warn you. They have gluten free bread! (They charge a couple bucks extra), and it’s actually good GF bread lol.Deff. A place to go for take out, rare chance to get a spot to sit down, since there’s only two small tables. And usually a line. But try your luck.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread! (They charge a couple bucks extra)Wheelchair accessibility: Space for a wheelchair“
“FANTASTIC hidden gem in Jackson Heights - wow! Stopped by for lunch with my fiance and we were blown away. Even their coffee was an unexpected delight, and the mango lemonade was a refreshing treat to wash down the savoury meals. My partner even said the quesadilla was the best he's ever had. Ever. We also tried the K&L Chopped Cheese and K&L Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, fresh, and warm. It's a no-fuss place that operates quickly and certainly doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: Plenty of fresh juices and meat-free sandwich options or modifications - just speak to the friendly staff to see what they can do!Kid-friendliness: Lots of space around! We had tables next to us with kids with books or on their tablets, while their carer ate with them or browsed their phone. Kid-friendly for sure.“
“Navigating through the culinary journey at Flowers & Flour, I've found an enchanting blend of whimsical and traditional bakery experiences, albeit peppered with a touch of unpredictability regarding item availability. On a vibrant Saturday at 3pm, the bakery, although thoroughly sold out of their delectable goods, persisted in remaining open, exclusively offering drinks. A second venture on a more tranquil Monday afternoon revealed a more generous offering of their array of baked items and a singular tuna sandwich amidst assorted gimbaps in various flavors - burdock, tuna, spam, ham, and ham and cheese. The baked delights, from a buttery and moist strawberry jam scone to an indulgent spam gimbap, filled with danmuji, eggs, carrot, and artificial crab meat, proved to be a delightful indulgence. While mayo's presence was mentioned in other reviews, it was the sesame oil that notably graced my palate. The basque cheesecake, however, stole the culinary show with its soft, perfectly sweetened profile, and a delectably burnt exterior that cleverly sidestepped any overly charred flavor. Amidst the delightful savors, the seating area emerged as a vibrant haven, where older Korean adults gathered for warm, lively chats, weaving a tapestry of community and conviviality. The allure of their cake has solidified my resolve to secure a reservation to explore these tantalizing treats in the future. A noteworthy addition to my experiences was the prompt and helpful service. Encountering items labeled in Korean or presented in acronyms posed a minor hurdle, which was gracefully alleviated by the amiable staff, who kindly offered translations and explanations, enhancing the inclusive and welcoming ambiance. While the somewhat capricious availability of certain items does invite a need for flexibility in your visit, the splendidly executed confections, coupled with the heartening atmosphere and commendable service, render Flowers & Flour a destination worthy of repeat visits.“
“Sure... People complain that they don't make their Bagels the "New York Way." But they're still made with authentic New York water. So they're still good!! Oh, and the other food is very good also! Great staff. All of them are very helpful and hustling every time I'm in there. Keep up the great work!“
“Absolutely shred through their house salad every time I order it off ubereats. They changed the sauce from their in house sauce to a prepackaged balsamic vinegar sauce and the taste is fine but i looooved the previous sauce. If you are the owner and read this, please change it back T-“
