This was my first visit to Cantina Lobos. I have passed by many times and today I decided to stop. I'm so happy that I did. The service was wonderful and attentive. My server was very nice and gave great recommendations. They give a large portion of free and tasty homemade chips and salsa. Very authentic taste and texture. Delicious Mexican meal. The chicken mole was pounded thin and the mole sauce was thick and hearty. The Spanish rice was just how I like it...no corn or Lima beans or other things. Girlfriend didn't love the verde salsa which had a bit of a bitter taste, but she liked the meal overall. The margaritas were definitely on point as well. Great. Local taco place. Word has it. The drinks are pretty good too though I haven't tried them. If you want to authentic Mexican food (and most of us don't know what that is anyway), this is not the place, but it's reliable, it's consistent, and it's pretty darn good.
