The atmosphere is neat casual with indoor/outdoor seating and the service is great at every level by all. Colleen and Jackie, 2 of the servers are outstanding at both their job and being wonderfully personable. They have a charm that makes you feel welcome and prioritized. Finally, don't be deterred by the location, its super easy and takes only 12 minutes drive time from the Merrick LIRR train station. It's worth it!”

“Beautiful view on the water, you can drive the boat up to the dock. Can eat inside or outside. The food was delicious. You order and pay at the counter. They give you a locator that you put on the card at your table. Has a large bar and TV screen my grandchildren enjoy watching the ball games on.Parking: Private parking. Also has boat parking.”

““Pierogis for lunch?” “Yes, mam.” That’s a real interaction my wife and I had today. I thought she meant she’d heat some frozen PBoyz up but no, she wanted to go a pierogi specialty restaurant. I didn’t know how it would be but I ate there with her. It’s good! I got the pierogis and a kielbasa. Very good! Don’t go for the extra sour cream as you won’t need it. We’ll come back - and when we do, we’ll see you there I bet. Bc if you got this far, why wouldn’t you just drive over and check it out?”

“Very good food at Popei's starting with their garlic+ bread. I had the lobster and shrimp stuffed penne in vodka sauce - hearty, tender, perfectly cooked seafood without that rubbery feeling in a fantastically creamy sauce. I sliced my stuffed penne into diagonal strips and every bite was amazing. Others had the crab leg and steak special; crab wasn't as good as my shrimp and lobster being a little over-boiled perhaps but the skirt steak had great flavor and chew. Most entrées hovered around $30. Would absolutely return.Note they have valet parking due to its popularity and limited parking space - so bring some small bills.”

“Birthday dinner for my husband! Our first time dining here! Amanda, our server was outstanding! She gave recommendations that were superb. We ordered from the Lenten menu the shrimp pappardelle and the scallop risotto. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful. Service was on point, friendly and professional. Sam, a manager, greeted us at the table to make sure we had everything we needed. Birthday dessert was on the house and delicious. I would highly recommend The Harrison!”

We went there just to grab something between a soccer game and a violin lesson with my son.
