“What an amazing place. Selected it as a venue for a gathering of friends as an upstate/downstate geo midpoint. Food was unbelievably amazing (ordered off appetizer menu, late night menu, but the whole menu looked great), hosts Russ & Helga were warm welcoming and friendly, live music from Ethan Levy was perfect, every server and bartender were top notch. We will definitely be back. This is a rare Hudson Valley jewel that I am so glad we found.“
“I wish I had taken a photo of the steaks. They were perfectly done. We were there for my birthday dinner a few weeks back. We all loved the food, the service was excellent. The photo is of a special soup, buffalo chicken soup. It was awesome . It’s our second time there and everything we had was great both times. Staff was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.“
“We came for the All-You-Can-Eat Cornbeef & Cabbage plus more. I had a fantastic experience at Tavern 13 last night! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and the flavors were incredible.The atmosphere at Tavern is also great. We ate outside with our child under the heated tent, which we loved. It's a lively and fun place to be, but it's not too loud so you can still have a conversation. The bar is also well-stocked with a wide variety of drinks, so there's something for everyone.Overall, I had a wonderful experience. “Adorable hole in the wall with great food. Very tiny space, absolutely slammed for Sunday brunch with just two FOH workers and no backup but they nailed it anyway. Sharp, fast staff. Precisely executed food. Glad we finally were able to make it in (they're closed Mondays when we normally have off work) so if you work a M-F job and can come on weekends, you should!“
“Got catering for our office lunch. Dawn was so wonderful to work with placing our order. We got wraps, wings(my personal favorite!!) and sides. The food was delicious!! Everyone enjoyed it so much they are our new go to for future catering needs.“
“Googled a good sports bar and this was the number one option. It's a indoor golf/whiskey bar more than a sports bar but drinks are good and cheap. The kitchen messed up my food order but it was still good so I won't knock any points off. The bartender and staff were super friendly and welcoming. I'll come back for sure.“

We did ask the waitress to turn down the volume and they did, but the annoying joke was where is the Mechanical Bull in this upper quality dining experience?!? “The food was really good. We had a Yam Right! Wrap, mozzarella sandwich, and special of the day rasta pasta w/chicken. It's basically counter service, and then they bring it to your table. There is a full menu with a separate breakfast menu. Plenty of vegetarian options. Pricing is respectable. They also have a nice ice cream selection, which was very tempting.“
“This might be my favorite place in Poughkeepsie. They have an innovative menu that is clearly the product of someone passionate about food. They were super accommodating to us when we came in, and just for the heck of it I ordered the burger and it's the best burger I've ever had in Poughkeepsie. They grow their own mushrooms and have a lot of beautiful mushroom dishes if that's your thing. They also have a really nice bar selection.“

“Went in at about 5pm. Not too busy. We were seated right away and not only did the host Caden (sp?) seat us, he took our drink order and brought the drinks. The pistachio martini was pretty darned good. Then Trent took over as our waiter. Very personable and efficient. Funny, nice guy. We placed our order and our salad and soup came right out. Salad was great, but the potato cheddar soup was awesome. Entree’s arrived and my Irish Beef Stew was perfect. My wife’s stuffed salmon was 5 star.
