“Such delicious food at Kaprichos! We definitely didn’t leave hungry! A friend and I visited for dinner on a weeknight and shared two arepas and each had a sweet burger and fries. The arepas were huge (could have been a meal themselves) and were very tasty— but my favorite was the sweet burger! It was both savory and sweet— the sauces were great and the sweet plantain was such a yummy and interesting addition! Would definitely recommend for a quick and delicious dinner in Sunnyside ?“

This time I ordered Oxtails, Jerk Chicken Empanadas and Mac & Cheese via Seamless to pickup. They cancelled the jerk and Mac. Pretty disappointing.But besides that the oxtail were meaty and flavorful. The sauce tasted tomatoey which was fine. The bobas are unique with a burst of fruit flavor inside each of them, unlike the more common solid bobas that come with these styles of drinks. Like they aren't from a bag to sprinkle on your salad - because of this though the bacon cheddar fries might be a little salty if that's not your thing - but I LOVED them. My daughter said the burger was good and I didn't take a pic of the fried chicken burger but it's fabulous - the chicken is fried perfectly. I should have gotten her name ?, she automatically bundled my order to help me save money and explained the incentives of getting the WC app. Also she provided extra sauces and napkins that I didn't have to ask for. That is not the norm anymore since FF restaurants don't even want to give napkins if you don't ask. This is one of the few surviving WC in Queens so whenever the crave hits this is where I go.
