“I’ve walked past this place everyday for more than a decade and I never went in because I always thought it was too expensive; up until a few days ago that I went to have dinner for the first time and it wasn’t as expensive as I thought! The food was bomb, calamari was stupendous and the chicken great. Service is on point and the ambiance is also nice.My total bill for dinner for 2 was around $100 and totally worth it.“
“I went with my family to celebrate my 32nd birthday. The food was 10/10 andres, our waiter was super kind to us. The appetizers were super delicious. When the main course arrived, Andrés recommended that we combine my steak with a wine that was spectacular. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again and again.“
“Don’t let the outside fool you, always walked past but the inside has a whole different atmosphere. It’s rather lovely and reminds me of France/Italy, fresh flowers and staff is amazing! Not to mention how amazing the food is! Some of the best food in Astoria, heaven for vegetarians. I’m not even vegetarian and the Charred broccoli panini is one of the best things and I’m not even vegetarian. Must try in Astoria“
“Went there with my friend today. Hands down, best pizza I have had in Astoria. Order Marinara sauce on the side, trust me. Service was as good as the pizza, ladies inside were really nice. Highly recommend this place if you are a pizza lover like I am. I’ll be back for sure!“
“Adrienne's NYC is a culinary gem nestled in Broad Channel, Queens. It never fails to dazzle with food and gorgeous views of the water! The ambiance, decor, and service makes the experience unforgettable. I have had the pleasure of attending both dinners and events at Adrienne's Restaurant and it's consistently EXCELLENT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.The menu is unique with melt in your mouth choices. One favorite: Bolognese with a rich sauce that transports you to Italy. And, save room for dessert because Colleen's cheesecake is legendary! The owners are on site and active in service. This is a true oasis so make reservations for a special occasion or an extraordinary meal; you will be satisfied from start to finish!“
“This and Pizza Sam's the last good pizza places in jackson heights. Pizza Sam is overpriced. This place is a bit overpriced but it's not to bad, they gotta compensate for inflation so i get it. The guy at the counter is great. If u guys read this I got a question. U deliver 10 blocks up to 93rd street? Between roosevelt and elmhurst ave? Thanks“
“stumbled upon this on a weekend drive out into depths of queens in the early afternoon food was great and savory hand made pasta and alcohol drinks were exceptional citrusy and flavorsome. An overall very well catered place with great food and ambience. great palce for a first date or a couple driving on the weekend.“
“The service was immaculate. Ana did a fantastic job at giving us a great experience. It was our first time here and she was attentive, kind, and fun! At the end she let us spin the wheel to win a prize and I got a free soda, but I was a little bummed because I wanted to win a free shot, but she gave me it anyways! Not just the service, but the food was actually really good. It is a lowkey place, but with great food with great portions for a fair price. The drinks were definitely potent as well. We ordered the arepas for 2 that came with nachos, colombian hot dog, premium steak fries that came with a fire show, sangria, and a modelo. Everything was so filling that I had to take most of the food to go. I would recommend this place to everyone!!“
“What a great experience at Vetro. The staff is amazing. They are so polite and respectful. Special thanks to Teal at the front desk for finding a table for my wife and I so we could celebrate our wedding anniversary!! The place is spotless clean. Food was tasteful and yummy. We're definitely going back.“
“I love this truck because it's independent individuals making quality, fresh, craft food. I actually get a hot dog more often than a sausage hero, but both are very good. They allegedly use a Sabrett's (skinless) dog just like everyone else, but their dogs are far plumper than you find from most other places and they use a Martin's potato roll. And they're grilled, which I prefer to the boiled dogs from the other truck up the street. When I get a sausage hero (which I just got myself in the mood for), I get it topped with marinara sauce. There's only one negative to this truck. They shut down at around 3:30pm each day and I don't think they're ever there on Sundays or holidays. In my perfect world, they'd be there practically 24 hours a day, so if I had a craving at 11pm, I could get my dog or sausage hero. Like everybody else, they've raised prices - dogs are $4 and I think the hero sandwiches are now $12, but still well worth it.“
“The menu is amazing, and the specials they are out of this world .....the chef will cook anything you want, the restaurant was very clean. the bartender Salvatore was professional and friendly ,very knowledge of mixology of any drinks ? that you want. I had excellent experience from management Nicholas and Joe to the Service, I recommend it 101%Vegetarian options: The chef cooks anything you want .“
“Way more than just an espresso bar. They have a kitchen and bakery and all of the food and deserts are amazing. The best coffee I've ever had as well. The prices are some of the cheapest you can find these days. It's a phenomenal place in every “
“Felt like I was at a family members house for dinner. This place is deceptively spacious. There are three dining rooms and a front bar area. We were seated in the 2nd dining room and greeted with menus which were single page which I like because it usually means everything on there will be good.Def get the calamari. The red sauce it comes w is poppin. I could live w/o the stuffed mushrooms next time. The veal parm was quality. The manicotti was better than the lasagna.Stay for the desert. I’m getting tiramisu for take out on the regular now and it was like $8. Thanks manducatis. I’ll be back for sure“
“As a Queens local, I think the thing that impressed me the most was the variety of fresh ingredients at a reasonable cost. Their cocktails are amazing. We ordered a tuna tartar special, salad, gorgonzola gnocchi, and their famous pressed veal parmagiana. 2 drinks for each of us and a slice of their pistachio tiramisu. We were so impressed by the staff, asking our names, our allergies, etc. Our waitress Isabella was so warm and helpful with any questions we had. We truly truly were so impressed. We can't wait to return. This place is a must try.Vegetarian options: They would be able to accommodateDietary restrictions: They asked ahead of time for any allergies.Parking: Compliment valet. Appears we showed up before the rush and parked on the street at the meter.Kid-friendliness: Children were dining at other tables. Staff brought over booster seats as necessary.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to enter. They would be happy to accommodate anyone I'm sure.“
“Food was very delicious and would reccomend. I ate a pepperoni pizza with basil and the Caesar salad, and I have also heard the calamari is very good although I did not get it. The service was normally good, although we did have to wait for water refills for a sizable amount of time. The atmosphere was very loud and since I have hearing aids, the seating was not very friendly but the food and service more than enough to make my review go back to 5 stars.“
“I've been coming here for almost two years now. After my first visit I was very impressed. We've been coming almost every week since then and I have never had a disappointing meal or experience. The chef cooks everything well from seafood, pastas, meat, chicken and veal entrees to fresh salads, potato croquettes and sautéed veggies! Great selection of wines, drinks, desserts. Lovely clean dining room. Service is always extraordinary whether super busy or just a few tables. Now that I'm retired we livecgoing at lunch time. They have a terrific lunch specialist you're on a fixed income. Generous portions off the regular menu 75% of the time I'm bringing some home. Danny the owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Most of the time Wilson is our server and Luis is the helper. Entire staff is great but really have to applaud Wilson and Luis for how well we've been taken care of from day one! My favorite restaurant, go enjoy, you will go back again and again!“
“Since I was a kid I’d get a slice here. Due to unfortunate events in my life I had to switch up my diet so I had to stop eating here. Can you believe I had to settle for boxed pizza?! Had my first fresh slice in years today. I felt like crying a whole ocean. When I tell you the vegan slice reminds me of the regular New York slice, I am not lying to you. Can’t wait to try all their vegan options next time. ❤️“
“The owners is a great guy, very friendly and social makes me wanna sit in or even come back, this pizza was amazing I got a vodka Square slice and I put hot honey on it, it was amazing. I gotta come back for. Not only that slice but I gotta try to the other ones.“
“The service at Villaggio's was great! The staff are very accommodating and always working in harmony. The Rigatoni with Burrata and a Marinara Sauce was delicious & my favorite dish. My husband had the Garlic Shrimp with Capellini, Garlic and Oil, which he loved! Thank you Dominick, Bobby, Angela and Staff for making us feel like Family.“
“Absolutely stunning restaurant. So worth the trip to LIC. We had the Diablo pizza which was so flavorful and the dough was so soft and not chewy or tough at all. The burrata and tomato was fresh and light. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and soft, full of flavor. The tortellini was buttery, so creamy and delicious. I’m still thinking of the butter pecan gelato which is made by the owner’s son. The owner herself is so welcoming and effervescent. The wait staff were bright, cheery, helpful and attentive. Looking forward to going back.“
“Uncle Peter’s was a wonderful dining experience! The service was great. Our entrees included the grilled skirt steak and pesto gnocchi. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pesto gnocchi was very delicious— a great vegetarian option. The crème brûlée was fantastic, and delicious cocktails as well. Everything was top notch quality and there is nothing better than that ✨ would 100% come back and recommend to others ?“
“Although it's cash only and on the pricey side, it is worth every penny. Food it delicious, staff remembers you even if you haven't been there for awhile. My wife went in recently, although it was early and they weren't ready to do baked clams, they did it for her.We love their mixed fresh seafood. But their pizza is second to none. Their pizza in our opinion is NY BEST. Any topping you want, they have. You'll eat every bit, not even the crust is left over, in fact you work your way to the crust and that's the finishing point. That leaves you completely satisfied and filled.Love this place!!!I'll update with pictures next visit so you can visualize how delicious their food is.“
“Fly me to the Moon (or Velmas)! My boyfriend and I are huge Gordo's fans! Velma is the Italian pizzeria sister restaurant. And even closer to home. We went before a show and were more than excited to hear that it was Sinatra Night! Hell yeah. I love Frank Sinatra. What a perfect date night. The band also played songs from Elvis Costello and the Carpenters. I noticed some older gentleman came to watch them. He drove to the show and ordered a hefty size of creamy pasta. This guy is my hero. We ordered the calamari to start. And Nick had a Birra Morreti and I had the "Diesel" cocktail that had the perfect amaro mix! The cocktail was balanced with sweet, strong and still remained smooth. The mushroom "Funghi" pizza was banging. I loved seeing the whole mushrooms on top. And the pesto marries well with the flavors. We devoured our decadent date night meal while time traveling to a different era with the tunes. Highly recommend having an intimate dinner here or get a little group going. The best was leftover pizza for breakfast!“
“My neighborhood pizzeria and absolute favorite! I love the different options to choose from. I have too many of their different types as a favorite of mine, original, Margherita, chicken tomato, taco slice and many others. Their grandma slice is my mom’s favorite. I grew up getting treat with their eggplant rolls in Thursdays when my mom was a lunch lady at Our Lady of Hope. I used to split it with my best friend. Great food, great memories, still as delicious as ever!Wheelchair accessibility: My dad used to come in here with his mobility scooter. He said the waitresses would help him in and get him setup and he’d go there several times. He found them very kind and helpful.“
“I was originally going to Sofun noodles around the corner but when I got there they told me nothing could be made gluten free (I have celiac and thought the rice noodles would be ok). So Yelp came to the rescue and I'm so glad I tried this place! The gluten free margherita pizza was possibly the BEST gf pizza I've ever had. Chewy, soft, pillowy crust. I had to ask the server if he was sure it was gf when I saw it. Too bad I don't live around LIC, otherwise, I'd be ordering here all the time!“
“One of the best Italian places you can go in LIC! Every dish is so fresh and flavorful. I loved the fresh pasta dishes that had the perfect al dente consistency and hearty sauces. The appetizers were all a hit too. We went with a dozen people and kept order because we loved everything that kept coming out! Highly recommend going with a big group so you can try more! The staff was lovely and so attentive to our many orders and requests, great for a big group or small outing.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and customizable pasta options“
“I have probably gone to Via Trenta for 8 Christmas Eve Dinners and it is always amazing. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Astoria. The service is superb and I always looking forward to going to dinner here. They have options for everyone, including vegetarians like me. The food is incredible. If you have not yet tried Via Trenta, you should go immediately! The Carciofini is the best appetizer I have ever had. : )“
“My kids and I have never had a bad meal here! The sausage breakfast sandwiches always taste consistently great and they are always very kind to us. This is the only place I will go when I need a taste of something Philly!Kid-friendliness: They greet me and my kids with kindness and often give us a toothpick of sausage to snack on!“
“Probably some of the best pizza I’ve had in nyc! Also , excellent service and ambience. They also brought fresh bread and olive oil- a rarity these days in Italian restaurants . So delicious and would love to come back again! Prices a little on the higher side- but the ingredients are super high quality and glass of wine was very generous“
“Came in for lunch on a Saturday, We all ordered a lunch special, as well as the herb roasted vegetables as a starter. Everything was really fresh and delicious! I had the special Ribollita soup and Caprese salad, and the kids had vegetable soup and Spaghetti & Meatballs. The portions were generous for the price and we left very satisfied. Definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu.“
“This place was solid. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was spot on. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The veal oso bucco was perfection. Highly recommend. Bring your wallet if offering off the specials menu. They do have a price fix also.Parking: A small lot on the side of the restaurant.“
“Came here for a Christmas party last year. The food and service was great! I would definitely return with my family to try some of their other menu items. The only problem I had wouldn't apply to anyone else coming here, but for the Christmas party, the inclusion of a written menu with a description of each dish would have been helpful to both the waiter and everyone dining. Instead, the server had to individually ask every single person at each table if they wanted 1 of 3 options as their dish and he did so pretty quickly. Many people didn't understand what the options were upon his first recall and needed him to repeat it. I think the poor waiter said "Chicken Francese" 100 times in 5 minutes.“
“The Pappardelle Short Rib Ragu is simply delightful! The braised beef short rib melts in your mouth, perfectly complemented by the rich flavors of the whipped ricotta, which adds a creamy texture that ties the dish together beautifully. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy this delicious dish again!“
“Looking for great pizza in Astoria?Hidden in the back of this Italian Grocery Store (which has amazing chicken cutlets, fresh mozzarella and sandwiches) you will see why so many people are walking to the back of the store all day long. Thin crust with a delicious sauce makes you crave more!!! #hollyspizzahotspotsofnyc“
“Our favorite restaurant in Jackson Heights, Queens. Armondo’s never disappoints: fresh food and excellent drinks. Italian food prepared with skill and love. The wine list is priced generously. The friendly waiters and bartender accommodate special requests. For my wife and I this restaurant is a real gem.Dietary restrictions: The chef is very accomplished and accommodates special requests.Parking: Street parking, meters are off after 7 PMKid-friendliness: Whole families come to eat like they are at home.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor“
“Great food with Impeccable service. Been a Whitestone resident for the past 3+ years and never stumbled into this restaurant until last week. Our waitress was very humble and helpful with menu options. My wife and I will be coming back again for sure! Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try some authentic Italian food.“
“I am a regular in this ambient restaurant. Their employees are just great and so friendly. Their food is excellent as well. I tried almost all kind of pizza slices over there. I am lactose intolerant and I never had any issue having their most cheesiest pizza.“
“If I were to review this restaurant, I'd say it's a slice of Sicilian heaven right in the heart of Astoria. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in warm, familial vibes. The staff, from the owner to the chef to the waiters, treat you like one of their own, adding a personal touch that's hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere is simply enchanting, transporting you back to the cozy kitchens of your childhood. Every dish is a masterpiece, crafted with love and tradition, just like Nonna used to make. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a home away from home, a sanctuary of Sicilian flavors and memories. A truly beautiful place that you'll want to return to again and again.“
“I normally love this restaurant. Last night, though, was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the special salmon, and it was not as fresh as it should've been, having a little bit of a fishy taste. The lady who took our order and recite the menu was exceptional. However, the rest of the service staff was a little disappointing. Hence four stars. I know my other guests very much enjoyed the shrimp entrée that's on the menu.“
“Ordered the ECB burger and fries for delivery. Excellent, excellent burger. So satisfying and well seasoned. The fries were addictive. 9 out of 10. Would order again when I'm in the area. It's midnight and I just ate the burger and I wish I had another one and more fries because it's that good.“
“I love this place usually take out & more delivery than anything else but during the summer I do dine in after the park w my kid & sometimes hubby either way the place never disappoints!Kid-friendliness: Staff is great & never new“
“Trattoria Ora is our new favorite Italian restaurant in Astoria. My fiancée and I first tried this amazing place on Valentine’s Day. The service was top tier and the environment in the restaurant is so inviting. Since then we have ordered take out and delivery from here and the food is simply amazing. It really tastes homemade and not something you’d get in any generic restaurant. Every dish we have tried really was made with love. We will continue to eat here whenever we crave great, homemade Italian food.“
“Amazing amazing Amazing!!! I don’t normally leave a review but it was too good to not share my experience. Made a business order it was quick efficient with no headaches.I informed them to write names on the order, came to pick it up, not only did they write it, they placed it in SEPARATE bags and no mistakes on the orders. My coworkers and boss were very happy and pleased. Amazing service and the food was phenomenal! Definitely will be ordering here more often.P.S. the owner she was very sweet and kind!“
“From out of town and when I come to NYC this is always my first stop! They have the best pizza hands down, but it's the creative additional side dishes that does it for me. There's always something delicious in the window and it changes every time I'm in town! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!“
“Super friendly staff and great food. This is a neighborhood gem, and I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a fine dining experience in Queens. Cocktails are also better than most Manhattan spots (I recommend the Mona Lisa). We are regulars for brunch (especially the French toast) , but I recommend the dinner menu for a date night (it rotates based on the season)“
“I love their pizza! I got their meat lovers pizza and it was absolutely AMAZING, DELICIOUS, AND HALAL!!! The staff are so respectful and caring and the environment is really clean. Most definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a halal pizza spot!“
“Great spot for dinner! Super accommodating, not hard to get a table as a walk-in and the Bolognese pasta is to die for. We had the classic Calamari Fritti, but try their Calamari Arrabbiata or Calamari Barosa (signature). All in all, we will be back!“
“Authentic, delicious food. I visited here with friends and the food was so good. I'm definitely coming back with my family. I got to try a little bit of everyone's dish and I was not disappointed with any of them. I had the the...Pollo alla fria (I believe that's the name), Chicken with spinach, prosciutto in a wine sauce, yummy.“
“Delicious pizza and a friendly staff, with a seating area and a TV in the back, make this a nice neoghborhood pizzeria. I recommend the buffalo chocken slice.Parking: Parking is limited due to the high volume traffic for all of the nearby businesses. There is a paid municipal parking lot a couple blocks away.“
“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“
