To all the people that were victims of fraud at the hands of James Rappaport, is there anything we can do? This is disgusting behavior, to steal people's money at the holidays? I have lost over $1500. Granted, I had my plan on hold but he could have given warning to use it because he was closing. I am very disgusted and upset and for all of us who were cheated and stolen from! How do we deal with this, sue, BBB, anything? I have sent emails, called and there is no response. If at some point he opens under another name he should not be allowed to do so with our money.

Ponzi scheme. Calling, texting and emailing discounted prices and then shut down. No refunds. All contact was shut down.

I am yet another victim of James/ Nutropia's ongoing scams. I was overcharged $2700 almost overnight and only refunded $1000 after persistently calling/ texting and emailing him. He is a fraud and he knows it. Lie after lie. He tried to remedy the situation by offering me 10, 20, or 30 extra days knowing very well if he was pulling this move of suddenly closing down the business. I declined all offers and kept insisting he refund me completely. I even tried to call the Nutrionist Ranee and of course she doesn't pick up either. All of their social media profiles are restricted now too. Something needs to be done. Should be laws to protect against criminal activity like this in the name of business.

I've used Nutropia for about 5 years on and off, and I agree with all the one-star reviews. James Rappaport is a money-grabbing thief who charged people money for meal plans knowing full well that the company was shutting down. I have about $1500 worth of meals that are prepaid on my account, which now will amount to nothing. He even texted me THE DAY BEFORE the company shut down asking if I wanted more days with a HUGE discount that was payable to his personal Venmo. I hope that his name gets blasted everywhere and that he gets brought up on charges.

I was a loyal Nutropia customer for years.A few times a year the owner James Rappaport would contact me for specials prior to me using all my days.This year he contacted me in Nov asking if I would like to take him up on another 60 days for $1,000 and adding it to my 20 days for a total of 80 days of meals.On Nov 11th I paid him by check ,on 12/14/22 I get informed from another customer that Nutropia closed down for good.I never received an email stating the fact.I froze my delivery on 12/08/22 because I was leaving the state for a little while.James was well aware of that also and still scammed me for the 60 days.This year I even joked with James when I renewed" I hope your not closing down" and his reply was absolutely not.Guess he was collecting money knowing very well that he was shutting down.I stopped paying by credit card because once a year for me and several times a year for other customers they were charged numerous times .By paying by check I'am out the whole $1,000 and the 20 days that I previously paid.I agree with Corey H posting.The actions of James looks and sounds criminal to me.Bad karma will definitely follow this guy.What goes around comes around.

As noted by a another post, James Rappaport knew he was in trouble for months. And while I didn't take him up on all his recent offers, I did twice. And my gut was telling me this was to make payroll, but I got suckered into it nonetheless. He even added 20 more days last week due to inconvenience as I had to cancel my card due to an "inadvertent" card swipe- clue #2! He shouldn't have been doing this to loyal customers. And what kills me the most is this happened to me twice before and I was gun shy. Nutropia/James came as a personal referral- the person's brother was the accountant!!!! James and I spoke about my issues and we started out with payment of 10 days at a clip. So to scam me like the others did.... I have ZERO compassion for him whatsoever.

I am so sorry to hear that you are closing your company has helped me for years including my friends & family we are all devastated about it. James is a exceptional person to deal with & his staff was amazing. I'm sorry to see you I know COVID did a number on many businesses & sad to see how people don't understand that & how selfish many can be & don't understand how you & your staff must be feeling about this. I THANK YOU for your service for the last 15yrs, GOD BLESS you & your family & staff. Shame on everyone who should have anything bad to say maybe they should put themselves in your shoes.

I've been with Nutropia for approximately 5 years and yes, they had their issues with payment. I know I've had to fight several times to get my funds back... It is upsetting because the service and food was good. Companies closing their doors typically know months before they do... so the fact that James was constantly texting and emailing huge holiday/fires sales... does not sit well with me. He literally chopped my pricing in 1/2 last week and I was d*** enough to go for it. So no... I do not have compassion for this man as he knew what was happening and came in hard to make as much money as he could right to the very end. The other thing that's not sitting well with me is that they closed their doors due to covid??? Seriously.... With many years of support we should have been notified sooner and additional offers should not have been made!!!!

Nutropia is a scam. In total I was charged over 3k for a “recurring” meal delivery that I never authorized. They charged me $800 every day for several days before I looked at my statement. When I asked it to be refunded they told me they changed their financial provider and we’re having trouble refunding me and a check was imminent. 4 months later, I’m going to have to take them to court. DO NOT USE.

Great meals and portions! They are very healthy especially when you look at elements such sodium and protein in each portion. I really liked the fact they would deliver food every evening.

I have been with nutropia on and off for over 4 years now . It is definitely my go to for meal prepping . The food is top notch ! Quality meat and fish with excellent flavors . I do the three meal and two snack plan. I'm not much of a breakfast person but theirs is something I look forward to. My favorite are the muffins . Usually for lunch i grab a salmon or chicken option . I am a fan of their Peruvian chicken and rice dish . Their steak with frittes is also another one I look forward to. Their specials are always a hit. When I venture off and get their kung Pao shrimp with noodles it's definitely a treat! Also their truffle risotto is to die for. So many options that you never get bored of! Cheers to James , the delivery crew and most of all to the chef !PSTheir dessert selection is amazing ?And I'm down 38 lbs since September. ??

Im a mom, personal trainer, and run an online shop. I get super busy and often times forget to cook and feed myself. Most days I was spending too much in snacks and unsatisfying sandwiches to get me through the day. I finally decided to try Nutropia. Choosing Nutropia has made my life so much easier. Not having to stress over what to eat has taken a huge load off my shoulders. There are plenty of delicious vegetarian options for me to choose from!I love that I also get to pick my daily calorie goals. I’ve always struggled with under eating, and now I feel so energized for the day. My workouts feel stronger, and I’ve even started getting comments that I look stronger!I can’t recommend Nutropia enough, they really make my life so much easier.
