“The food was delicious, although $4 for one halved devilled egg is a bit much, 2 halves per order. Short rib hash was incredible and full of flavor. Classic breakfast was also very good. Coffee was not the best and refills were not plentiful, we had to ask each time and only received two cups each (over an hour) for both tea and coffee. Would definitely go back to try something else. Layout was nice and music wasn't too loud upstairs, although downstairs was louder.”

“This place has quickly become my go-to for a nourishing comfort meal!! The chicken schwarma rice platter is amazing - I always get 2 meals out of it - and their white sauce is out of this world. We usually order extra because it’s so good. Recently tried their falafel and their hummus and wow the obsession continues. Did I mention the pita? I am passionate about this place, people. This restaurant is inside of an indoor market with tons of other food surrounding it and I still beeline for their counter nearly every time I come here. The owners are super kind as well. They’re never allowed to close ever. Really nice portions, really amazing food, and I really like the Galleria vibes even though I usually do takeout. It’s a nice spot to eat, they keep it clean and have tons of options!”

“I have been going to J & T's Cafe for many years. The food and service is always consistently good. What really takes it over the top are the freshly homade soups, which there is 6 or more varieties. Everything is prepared fresh everyday, and the best home cooked food around. The clientele that frequent this establishment are also very pleasant, which also is an indication of their satisfaction with this establishment. For those few disgruntled customers, take your frustration out on your wives or significant other. John and the crew at J & T's are aces.”

“Food is great here. Service is also good and the owner is very nice. Our go to spot in the capital region. My only complaint was the included $27 service charge (not a tip charge). Happy to pay it but restaurants in New York have to disclose additional fees either verbally or in an obvious location on the menu (I studied Consumer Protection law). I didn’t make a fuss about it but it does need to be disclosed or you risk customers not returning or even lawsuits.”

“Such a cute bookstore and Cafe. The selection of books was very unique as they had many special edition copies. The children's section was also quite nice and I got a particularly good book for a friend for her upcoming baby shower. They also had a good number of games for sale, many of which I had never even seen before. Excellent place to stop by if you are into books or libraries.”

“I was CRAVING chicken Kashmiri bad tonight but my husband is not a big fan of the spice in traditional Indian food. As a compromise, we settled on Galleria 7 in Latham, a multi-ethnic food market with excellent vendors, including @Shalimar express.I called around 5 to ask if Shalimar express makes chicken Kashmiri. The nice man answered, told me no and respectfully hung up the call. Within five minutes, the owner, Leo, called me back to tell me that although they do not have chicken Kashmiri as a menu item, they were able to make a modified version and call is chili chicken. We arrived around 615 and Leo greeted us with a smile and a “it was you!!!” He proceeded to explain how he would custom make a dish for me and would make it suitable for my dietary needs. He really didn’t not have to but this man went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience.We received the food within 15 minutes and it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was soft and tender, the garlic naan was flavorful and the veggies were absolute perfection. My husband had the Curry chicken and loved every bite. Leo even came and spoke to us about his history, his family and his love for serving his friends.We never post on this page but Leo made this experience such a memorable one. He went far beyond great customer service and truly the food was Amazing. If you are ever in all Latham, give them a try.”

“I really appreciate the ability to order with ease, whether it is in store with the employees, using the kiosk, or ordering to go. Their take out containers are sturdy and withheld my impromptu picnic where tables and chairs were no where to be found. The sauces added to my sushi box didn't leak all over the place, and although we needed a container to mix the ramen broth with its non-liquid contents, even that was thoughtfully prepared to withhold the drive to our destination. The ramen really hits the spot and is my go-to on days I need some comfort food. The sushi bowls have been a really fun experience mixing flavors also! Looking forward to trying their beverage offerings soon.”

“Always very friendly service.The grilled salmon with ginger is one of my favorites as well as roast duck. .They serve a large, nicely done piece of salmon with plenty of bok choy, broccoli, rice noodles or rice, along with pickled Daikon and carrots......enough for 2 large portion meals! “Such a great coffee shop! Got a double shot latte and a "jalapeno popper" bagel (Plain bagel with a jalapeno cream cheese spread).The coffee was amazing and so was the bagel! Highly recommended. Also, the aesthetic of that shop is very trendy and modern. When we went the place was hoppin'. Very friendly staff. They have a large variety of home made pastries and other snacks.Additional Tip: they have limited parking right next to the shop (3 parallel parking spot with a 15 minute line) but then tons of parking in the back! “The best homemade pies around!!! We have known the owners for many years and they are the most hard working family and are so humble. It is so neat how they take pride in what they do and love showing and teaching others about the processes that goes into their baked goods. The pies are actually home made unlike other places around town that claim they are but aren’t. Mourningkill pies are seriously unlike any other. They are fresh and you can just taste the fruit they pick in each pie. It is a lot of hard work they put into them and they never fall short here because they are always so delicious! Very berry and apple crumb are our favorites. We always and only get our pies here.”
