Had a great experience here. Everything was lovely and more relaxing and intimate than some of the other nice places in town. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet and enjoyable high end experience.

The coconut shrimp tasted like burned cumin. We ordered filets medium rare and they came out raw so we sent them back, only for them to come out raw again, and on the third attempt, they had been basted in butter so many times that the outside was burned while the inside varied from blue/cold to finally med rare. It was served with spinach fritters that tasted of nothing, and the presentation was as off-putting as the poorly cooked and seasoned meat. No sauces were available to cover up the disgusting taste and we had to ask for salt and pepper since everything was flavorless. We lost our appetites and couldn't finish the meal.I asked to speak to the manager privately and was told everyone is the manager. I described the problems with our dinner and they ended up comping the meal. We were asked to come back and give Avvino another try. All of this was echoed again by the hostess as we were leaving too.We eat out frequently, particularly at nicer restaurants. The atmosphere was fine. Presentation and food was completely lacking. Canned minute maid lemonade is sad as well, it should be freshly made at any restaurant above fast food. At least pour at the bar instead of presenting cans.I will say that the cheesecake they sent us home with was the best thing on the menu. 4 stars for that.

The food here is really good! They have a limited menu, which allows their food to be delicious. They even have a vegetarian option, which I feel like you don't often see on limited menus. Our server was very attentive and checked on us several times without being over the top. The inside of the restaurant is nice and quiet...easy to have a conversation.

Overall, our dining experience was good. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the rabbit fell off the bone. We were surprised by the bread pudding because it didn't look or taste like a typical bread pudding. The service is exceptional. Staff were hustling and attentive as well as polite. The space is aesthetically pleasing and sophisticated. By the time we left, the dining area was fairly loud so it wasn't quite the romantic experience we hoped for.

Have been to Avvino several times. Definitely a fave. I love to go here for birthdays and celebrations. It's so cozy and private. Staff is always great. Their flatbread is amazing. The charted octopus is a must!

We went here for my birthday dinner. Amazing! The staff is great (hostess, bartender, server... all friendly and attentive!) The food was outstanding. I had a burger and it was huge! I ate maybe a quarter of it! Many fries with the order. My husband had the duck. It was cooked perfectly! My daughter and her husband shared the steak for 2. They didn't even finish it! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if your in the Brighton area.

We had a wonderful special celebration in the Meyer's Den. It was amazing. For, service and atmosphere were fantastic! Everyone loved their meal. Will definitely be back.
The atmosphere was very relaxing. The décor was stunning and beautiful, so well thought out. The wait staff was pleasant and helpful, also surprisingly quick for a busy weekend. The food was exquisite. So much flavor in the Charred Hurricane. I would have never thought that beets would compliment snap peas and buttermilk. Faroe Island Salmon was so tender, flaky and bursting with flavor. I can't wait to to visit again to try something else off the menu.

Easy to find a parking spot. We had a reservation so we were seated right away. The restaurant was very clean and organized. The staff attended to our needs. The food was amazing. We got the charred octopus and duck breast. Duck was very tender and moist. Octopus was a good appetizer, it wasn’t too chewy. It was good quality. If you ever see lamb on the menu, get it and make sure it’s medium rare. You won’t regret it.
