First, staff was great. Soup and steamed clams very good. However, the prime ribs we both ordered medium were chewy and almost raw. Would not recommend and would not return. So very sorry as this was a birthday dinner for my husband.

Went for my anniversary. Restaurant was not all busy. Maybe three tables of people in the restaurant. They said happy anniversary when we walked in. Dinner took awhile to come out, we had soup and salad. It was our special night so we enjoyed each others company. When our meals came, my husbands prime rib was ice cold. Like they took a slab of meat from the fridge and slapped it on the plate. It took awhile to even tell someone, because the two people working disappeared. When they did come we got a half hearted apology. They took my husbands meal. Mine was almost done, by this time. So on our anniversary we are separately. They didn’t offer anything. Not to take the soup off the bill, a piece of pie, nothing. When we left they were like “enjoy the rest of your anniversary!”The food was actually not bad, once it was warmed. But they definitely lack in customer service, or don’t care much about customer satisfaction. I am not one that likes to leave bad reviews. But I am big on authenticity.

Under new ownership. The prime rib was cold and my wife's ahi tuna was "expired" to say the least. Mashed potatoes were not Yukon but instant. Even the salad had the dressing in to go cups. What an incredibly disappointing dinner. Do not waste your money.

What a shame. The new owner has cut corners with food quality.... Same menu but the food grade is now poor... This used to be my family's favorite restaurant and now we will never go back.

Definitely not what we remember.5 stars for the amazing hostess, bartenders and staff assisting the servers in the dining room.2 stars for the food.2 stars for our server.I have to say due to busy lives and a picky teenager we've not been here in a awhile. With our son out of town we decided to have a date night and have dinner at the Grove. Called and made a reservation. We arrived a little early and we were lucky enough to be able to sit in the bar area enjoying some cocktails. Like most small local restaurants sometimes there's a delay in seating even after the time of your reservation and it's not an issue with us when you're expecting good food and service. We were finally seated and that's when the evening went down hill. Extended delays in the appetizer, arrival of salads and main courses. The server was inattentive from the start and didn't even bother to say anything about or even acknowledge the delays. When our main courses arrived you could tell from the congealed sauce on the one plate that they had been sitting and one bite of the luke warm potatoes confirmed. Aside from the temperature one of the proteins was cooked inconsistently and dry. The meals were not on par with previous visits. We're not complainers. When we don't like something we will discretely comment to staff if asked, we never ever ask for or expect anything to be comped and just never return. We tipped our server 20% as we didn't want the staff assisting to get short changed. It's very rare for us to tip that low. The hostess was very welcoming and attentive even after we were seated. The bartenders were friendly. The staff assisting the dining room were prompt with bread, water and clearing dishes. We're hoping it was just a bad night but I don't think we will be back.

Awesome delicious food in a casual relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to go back. Pricey but worth it.

They are not honoring gift certificates from the prior owner, even if they're less than a year old. They don't understand the concept of assuming liabilities when purchasing a business, customer service, or long term survival. Word travels fast - stay away from here!

Had eaten there prior twice as I am from out of town. Cute place with good food for the price. Went last night and I’m not sure what happened but the place is a disaster. The bartender was pretty slow. Our hostess was kind but for some reason kept her cell phone ring on and as loud as possible and it was very audible from where we were sitting, ruining the ambiance of your evening. Our poor waitress knew she was in the middle of a disaster. Communication must be poor amongst the staff as several items we ordered come to find out were not available and the food came out at different times. Finally and funny as hell, our waitress asked a kid member of our party if she wanted a scoop of vanilla ice cream for desert and when she reemerged from the kitchen we were told there had been some sort of incident with the ice cream. Uhhhh what? Ok, check please. My fiance and I have another gift certificate for this place but I don’t think we’ll be heading back. Sad to see

The Food was undercooked and even after asking for it to be recooked it came out the same. Servers were not responsive with asking for water and food took a while to come out. Very unpleasant.

I am sad to see the quality of food and service has declined so dramatically with the change in ownership. I used to be proud to have such a wonderful restaurant in my neighborhood. Now the food is just acceptable.

I almost don't want to post about it... because it's our hidden gem in North Greece. It's Quaint, Comfortable, and Delicious everytime we go! The staff is Wonderful and friendly. If you haven't gone, you're missing out.

Great Hidden Gem!! Fabulous food. Not your typical ROC fare. The veal is tender and the broccolini and beans are fantastic!! Must...try the cheesecake (you will not be disappointed)! Megan is a true professional server, personable and made us feel happy to be there! TY for such a great dining experience!
