i v been going to capt jims 30 years still great.what i like about capt. jims is i can buy seafood by the pound already cooked,1/2 pouns of fried clams 1/2 pound scallops and a small piece of fish.only regret is i wish the dinning room was still open so i could eat there.my wife hates smell of fish so i cant bring it home ,,and i hate eating in a car.but food is good.
Very disappointed. Maybe because it was so busy on a Friday? Had to wait in line to pick up phone order. Asked for names of everyone in line, then rang up people behind me first! Food was not hot when opened at home, so had to microwave. Fries were soft/underdone, coleslaw & macaroni were bland. Fish had good flavor and onion rings were good.

Fish fry is EXCELLENT.... one of very best ever have had. Been wanting to try for long time, finally did & very glad we did. Beer batter is a lite, crispy crust & fish flaky just excellent. Know now why voted one of top best fish fry in Rochester.
