I had the gluten free fish fry and it was unbelievable good. Perfectly crispy and juicy. Not a dry spot in the fish!! I have visited twice and will definitely be returning!!

Oyster nights on Tuesdays are the best, delicious high quality oysters for $1 each. We usually get a couple appetizers (the duck fat fries and fried calamari are consistently delicious). I had a glass of white Bordeaux and ended up getting another one because it was so good. The cocktails are pretty good too and the desserts are delicious (I like the crème brûlée). Oysters take a little while so if that’s why you’re coming make sure to get an appetizer if you’re hungry. Good service and lovely ambiance.

Excellent service, our waiter Ryan went above and beyond and was generally awesome. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the vegetarian poutine and the lavender creme brulee (if you're a lavender fan).

Got the gluten free fish fry tonight. That was delicious actually and you'd never know it was gluten free. The fries were soggy, they needed help but what ever is in your ketchup, that's delicious. The purple cabbage coleslaw was different, but in a good way. If the fries had been crispy I would of given 5 stars but overall the meal was good.

We were looking forward to visiting Lento based on reviews and locals in the area, but we were a little disappointed with the quality of the food, especially given the prices. I had the pork loin with polenta, and it was dry and rather lacking in flavor, plus the polenta was gelatinous and not fresh. The atmosphere is pretty nice, and the servers were nice, though he got my drink wrong.

First time since pandemic. Wonderful. Better than I remember. Menu changes daily based on locally sourced ingredients. All four of us lived out meals. Gluten free fish fry was superb. Came with amazing smashed peas as a side. Japanese scallops were prepared perfectly. A chai and an espresso Cream brûlée for dessert done to perfection. Nice wine list reasonably priced. Our waitress Christy knew the menu inside and out and was helpful navigating a gluten sensitivity.

Dollar oyster night or any night at Lento is a good night! Reservations needed, the place rocks the town. Plan ahead so you can enjoy their menu of locally sourced cuisine!I had there vegan garam masala. The other 2 dish pictured are their steel head trout with polenta and veggies and their scallop dish.Atmosphere is cozy and staff is warm and welcoming! They even have a gluten free menu to accommodate!

We had a delightful meal at Lento. I enjoyed the eggplant ricotta rollups on pasta and my friend loved her garam masala dish. The food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, but not too attentive (in an annoying way), and the food was great. We didn't order any drinks, but their cocktail/wine menu was extensive. I'll revisit if I'm in Rochester again!

I can't say enough good things. For such complex dishes they were amazing, and even my 16 month old loved the sweet pea ravioli we got her. The duck fat fries just might be the best fries I've ever had, and my lamb was also delicious. I finished my meal with the affogato, which you can't go wrong with if you love ice cream and coffee. I also love they use local sodas, as I always love a small batch cola as opposed to the big brand names.
