We loved Lux... no surprise there, but... at a certain point at night, after alcoholic beverages, one starts to desire food. If there was any method whereby one could have either poutine or disco fries (easy to add btw, not much space would be needed and it would be simple to give vegan options too) it would be amazing.
Love Lux! Some would consider it a little dive bar but it's a great place. It's odd, weird and welcoming. Everyone feels comfortable and at home here. The crowd is diverse, no judging, no tolerance for intolerance. It has huge back yard with seating and small table fire tops. It has games of all kinds. There is a craft night, trivia night, dance night etc. I live an hour away but work at the hospital close by, it's my favorite place in the city. Staff is great as well.

Still my favorite bar after all these years. Lux has the best pricing on drinks, the best dance music and live DJs, a killer backyard area, and friendly patrons. I appreciate that they require a vax card for entry too.
