This was our first visit and it was fabulous. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and just nice to chat with. Our server, Kathryn, was awesome!! Love her. I had the moussaka and it was wonderful. Great flavor! Hubby had the wolf fish/scallop special. Again, delish. Cocktails were great and we got desserts to go. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

I don't like the booths the cushions feel like you are going to fall off and not a lot of room for a big guy. The dishes are cool and tasty the drink's order doubles.

It is always a treat to eat at Polizzi's. The food was delicious. The braised beef short ribs is one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to the next ahi tuna special.

First time here but certainly not my last. Everything was perfect. Brian was our waiter and helped with wine and entree selections. Yes it cost more but anything this good is worth it.

We've been to Polizzi's twice for dinner and were excited by some of the unique menu options. The service and atmosphere were both great, but we have mixed reviews on the food. We've tried 5 appetizers, all were good, with the calamari frito and veggie meatballs being exceptional. On our first visit, 2 of us had the shrimp melanaus...the shrimp was overcooked and a little tough. Another person had the Tuscan chicken pasta, which was pretty good and the last person had Beef Tournedos which were excellent. On our second visit two people had Eggplant Parm, a huge portion but overcooked and dry. A third person had the Vegetable Napoleon, which was not as good as it sounded, a fourth had Chicken French which was ok and the fifth had Lamb Chops which were excellent.Bottom line, we loved the appetizers we tried and would like to sample a few more, but we were disappointed in some of the entrees and will likely not go for dinner again.

To me, this restaurant is a hidden gem. I did have a challenge finding it. But once I found it, had a handcrafted cocktail and the pork chop special, I knew it was the place for me. Everyone was very nice. I did not have a reservation so I sat at the bar. To some it might be strange to have a pork chop at a restaurant, but it was delicious and awesome. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The whole experience was great. I will be going back.

Met a girlfriend for an early dinner after work and had an outstanding experience! The drinks were delightful, the saganaki was tasty, the lamb chops were delicious (can't wait to go back and order my second and third choices - moussaka or osso bucco style braised short ribs - and the butterscotch buddino was a perfect finish with an excellent cup of coffee. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was cozy.

I wanted to like this place more. Besides the tables being a little tight, the overall ambience is classy and the service is great. However, the food is lacking direction. I was hoping for dishes that accentuated the fresh Greek and Italian flavors the menu boasts. In return, everything tastes like it's catered to American tastes- drowned in creamy French sauces. I don't think Bechamel belongs on Moussaka. As good as each ingredient sounds, the end result is outside of my preferences.

Ate there last night. Food and service was fantastic! I had steak and my wife had the short ribs. Both meals were delicious! I would DEFINITELY go back!

Food is house made, from apps through desserts.Service is tops. Irene gave us beautiful service. "Want the last two branzinos we have today? Let me get those in for you."She was always there when we needed her but never hovering. We had the sausage sampler as an app. Really nice. The bread was good. The Aperol spritz makes for a great aperatif. We had the braised short ribs (divine), the moussaka (tremendous) and the 2 branzinos (perfectly-cooked).Finished with great desserts: grand marnier cheesecake, creme brûlée (perfect), and baclava (the best). We'll be back. Again and again. We have the whole menu to eat through

I made the mistake of ordering the fish special on a Tuesday. My second bite tasted like it was soaked in ammonia, shockingly-so, to the point where I wasn’t sure if there was cross contamination with a cleaning product or the fish was just dangerously unfresh. Service overall was good, so it’s unfortunate there just wasn’t any quality control in the kitchen. They didn’t charge us for the dish (duh), and offered to get us dessert. But when I’m downing bread in an effort not to get sick, I just wasn’t in the mood to try anything else.
