I absolutely love The Owl House! I haven't been since 2012 when I visited Rochester. I moved here recently, so my friend and I came for brunch. He's vegan, and they have so many awesome vegan options! He had vegan stuffed French Toast that was awesome! The vegan cinnamon struessel tasted so good too! I had The Cat's Pajamas cocktail but with pomegranate because I'm allergic to strawberries and it was delightful! And the Owl House Breakfast was WOW! Those potatoes were FANTASTIC! Everything was fantastic. I can't wait to come back for more. I'm so glad I live close now!The staff is amazing too! So positive and helpful and lovely. Such a fantastic spot!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!Dietary restrictions: Allergy friendly!

I love coming here. You definitely need to make reservations unless you don't mind waiting and/or eating at the bar. We made reservations and we sat shortly after our time. We started with the cauliflower wings that were very good. Whatever that bleu cheese sauce is, they need to bottle it up and sell it, and I'm not a huge bleu cheese fan! For entrees we got the rotini pasta special, oleck's buffalo stance sandwich, tofu fall hoagie and a fish fry. Everybody really enjoyed their food. You could tell everything was fresh and the table was quiet, it was so good. We shared a piece of the Mexican hot chocolate tart, that was very good with a little kick at the end. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and what could be done for my dietary restrictions. There were only 2 items that could not be made gluten free and those were the pasta dishes. Almost everything could be made vegan/vegetarian. We would for sure go back, again.Vegetarian options: Almost everything can be made vegetarian/veganDietary restrictions: Almost everything can be made gluten free

A wonderful night out with friends! If you have a group with both meat eaters and vegetarians, this is the place. Try the creative and complex cocktails, they won't disappoint. Interesting nightly specials, a short but well thought out menu, and save room for dessert! The service was outstanding, atmosphere quiet and cozy, and the food excellent. Can't find a better experience for the price.

Very tiny house setting. It was my first time but the food was great. Cocktail was also good. I'll be back for sure.

I stopped at the place before I headed back to my hometown early on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. I ordered the soup of the day which was corn and black bean chili and a side of rosemary fries. Everything was delicious and I will be returning on my next trip to Rochester.

BVE Impossible burger was raw, and the manager said they temped it but I don’t think they did. Also got the fried chicken and waffles with “berry compote” and received dry craisins. Restaurants make mistakes, but the Manager seemed annoyed we didn’t want to eat a raw $20 burger.

Almost everything is gluten free and no cross contamination. Had chicken and waffles for the first time in years and you would never believe it was GF. The hostess and our server were very friendly and super helpful. Will definitely be going back when I'm in the area again!

Wasn’t great, wasn’t the worst. The chairs upstairs had this weird downwards slant to them always making me feel like I was going to slide right off. The food was alright, the drinks were great. Just a very standard dinner for

The Food wasn’t good at all I ordered the classic beef burger. The burger was cooked well but didn’t have any flavor or much toppings except mayo, pickles, and arugula lettuce which is not the best for a burger. Many toppings were non existent. Not mention the bread was hard .The company I had ordered the stuffed French toast . In which she complained that it was tasteless and tasted like just bread. We ordered two drinks , that were far from great. Overall experience was not good. Safe to say we won’t be back

The hostess was rude and condescending. We made online reservations for Feb. 10 at 11:30 and came in as a party of 6 for brunch. We were told that we should called and from there the hostess continued to be rude for no reason. We were with toddlers and they didn’t have plastic cups nor did they provide us with straws despite us asking for it. This place isn’t kid friendly and we waited over 30 minutes for our food. I would look elsewhere if you want to deal with competent staff who prioritize customer service.
