Just a great vibe here. I realize Buffalo has its own longstanding Italian community but, being new to the city, it reminded me a lot of Italian restaurants I grew up around in New Jersey and Boston. That is to say it's a lot like paying to eat at somebody's home.The whole staff is highly welcoming and servers feel more like friends - or friends of friends in my case - and table side interactions are less transactional and more conversational. Went to Sienas for our 30th wedding anniversary. The service was excellent. Servers were very attentive. Food was magnificent. They gave us dessert on the house to celebrate our big day.My only concern was the tables were very close together. However ot wouldn't stop me from recommending Sienas to friends and family. We will definitely return.
