He provided fantastic recommendations for both cocktails and wine pairings. We also indulged in some phenomenal appetizers, with the smoked wagyu and steak tartar being true standouts. Our entrees were equally impressive, particularly the porterhouse, tomahawk, wagyu, and the decadent mac and cheese. Even though my guests and I trekked down from uptown, the experience was absolutely worth it. The entire evening was amazing, and a big shoutout goes to the manager, Joey. The cream spinach was very lack luster though! Lamb was flavorful and tender, lobster bisque was super creamy.“

The calamari was cooked perfectly with a light and crispy breading. The burger was quite large and very tasty with hand cut fries which were actually crispy instead of the limp and greasy ones I usually encounter elsewhere.“

“First time trying this place. Everything we had was good. The calamari appetizer was great, tender and tasty. The tomahawk was cooked perfectly also. The house sauce complimented it well. Although the sauce did taste similar to Peter Luger’s sauce. Maybe that’s why. Overall, I would recommend this place over Liberty Prime.“

“So this was my first time at Wolfgang's and having eaten a few time before at Peter Luger's I was excited to try the "evolution".The staff is excellent, actually much more attentive and friendly than Luger's where they are much more abrupt and overworked/crowded. Good wines and sides also at Wolfgang's.With the steaks, I had the porterhouse (of course) and it's VERY good, BUT.... not as good as my Peter Luger's porterhouse steak experiences. The steak was spot-on medium rare, but the crust was not as flavorful and the overall steak experience a 4 of 5.Of course, compared to my costco gas grilled steak, it was still amazing, but for what I paid, it was great, but not 5 of 5. That said, I'll try Wolfgang's again, b/c my 1st time at Luger's I thought it was good but freakin expensive but the 2nd time was when I really had the experience that justified the price!“
