In our frequent visits to Fayetteville, we always try to eat at King David's. They have a fine Gyro: great meat, fresh/chewy pita, and properly sauced. The falafel is superb. Well-balanced, subtle flavors and always crispy. And Turkish coffee prepared just right. Kabobs and Shawarma are moist and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and upscale.
Great food and the staff is always very attentive and helpful. Owner is very personable. I have been going to this restaurant since I was in graduate school in the late 80's. Food is always delicious make sure you try the Turkish coffee. Went on a day when graduation ceremonies were going on at the university. Had my first falafel sandwich here while in high school back in 1980. My new friend Ibrahim Fakhoury brought me there and that falafel was like heaven on pitas bread! Glad to see it's still going strong at king David's
