“It’s consistently rated the best restaurant in Syracuse, and there’s a pretty good reason: it’s really, really good. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is delicious. For the quality of food you receive, it’s also shockingly affordable. 2 entrees, 2 alcoholic beverages, and an appetizer was about $75.00.I would say that’s a pretty great deal for one of the best places around.“
“I went here for Valentine’s Day and come here often with my fiance. Can’t say enough GOOD about this place. The food is great. The atmosphere is so peaceful and the staff are very friendly. Don’t leave syracuse without stopping here. Staple hands down.“
“My family and I arrived late to town to catch a flight in the early morning and the kids wanted pizza. I picked this place by their pictures alone and so glad I did. Their Char Roni deep dish pizza was soooo amazing. Very rarely do my kids get excited over pizza but when we open up the box, all my kids went nuts lol. The person that took my order over the phone was so nice and so was the delivery driver. I give this place a 10 out of 10 this will be my go to place every time I visit Syracuse.“
“All of the employees at this pizzaria are welcoming and delightful. I only order pizza a handful of times from them a year (they are the best and the money is worth it). True NY style pizza comes from Paladino’s in Mattydale. I haven’t experienced the same taste or authenticity from any other area Paladino’s.“
“Really good brews and some unique food offerings. Kinda big and cavernous, but I think that's the industrial vibe of the venue. Parking is free in a nearby lot.Parking: Lots of space but not directly adjacent to the venue (there's a small field in between).“
“This place is not nearly as well known as it should be. There pizza is very very good!! Also they offer 10+ different kinds specialty slice pizzas available all day long, and until at least 3am on Friday and Saturday’s. Located right in Armory’s square—Nick’s Tomato Pie is located within walking distance of lots of the nightlife in syracuse…The Landmark Theater, Clinton Street Bar, Ice Rink, Red House, (for most of us) the OnCenter as well! Nick Tomato Pie is not only easily accessible due to there hours and location, the staff they employee is timely, pleasant and makes sure there pizza quality is consistent!!“
“Absolutely the best deals on great New York style pizza and wings by a long shot, no comparison around. Saved over 40% compared to popular places around, free fast delivery is unheard of, ordered there special large one topping, 20 wings, 2 liter of soda, normally I pay over $70 dollars including delivery charge, and other weird charges which is insane! I can't believe I got this delivered to my door for $40.96, and yes this includes a 20% tip for driver.“
“Excellent pizza and great customer service from the owner and staff! The best pizza in the City of Syracuse, no gimmicks just great ingredients. I ordered a pie on Slice for a specific time and that pie was at my front door fresh out of the oven 10 minutes earlier than the delivery time.Parking: There is some parking behind the plaza or across the street at the supermarket's parking lot.“
“A very obvious replication of pizza hut's pan pizza. Which is pretty good, especially considering pizza hut will charge you the same or more when for a replica this place tastes better. Sauce is a little sweater than I like, but still good.“
“Not in the best area, but the steak sub was really good and loaded with peppers, onions and cheese. The lemon pepper wings were the best I had in awhile. I will definitely be back! I ate the food too fast to get a picture of it. Lol... next time. Now, after trying the BBQ wings, I'm hooked. Great food. Good cook.“
“We usually get pizza on Mondays, so like many places, Johnny Macs has been out of the equation. This place has been in queue for when our week gets messed with. It comes with the added bonus of being next to a bakery we've also wanted to try. This name comes up a lot when people in Syracuse start talking pizza. A lot of people love them and we were excited to try them out. The first time we went with the Chicken Bacon Bourbon Pizza. It looked like an easy choice after going through the menu. We threw in a steak sub for good measure, and added double cheese. It wasn't a lot, but it annoys me when places charge extra per ingredient, even if it's negligible. 10 cents for mayo, 80 cents per cheese. We ordered the bourbon pizza because it's the only one on the menu you won't find at most other places. Also, it sounded amazing. For this pizza, the taste was everything. The pizza is light, thin and hard. Pretty toasted feel to it and not a lot of sauce. I did rely heavily on bleu cheese, but I specifically like my pizza very soggy. The sweet glaze over top of it with the chicken was the whole thing. I would have not enjoyed any other pizza with this texture and consistency, but in this case, the dough just kinda stayed out of our way while supporting the true stars of the show. This was our first time getting double cheese on a Philly/steak sub. It was awesome, and I'm going to keep doing this every time there's no whiz until I'm given a reason not to. Provolone and American, and it cleaned house. It's pretty much a given that unless you're told otherwise, a cheesesteak sub in Syracuse is going to have the same pre-shredded Sysco meat squares. So the whole thing is how they build around it, and far most importantly, the bread. The bread was top tier: soft yet firm with just the right "bounce back". There has to be a better word for it, but you all know what I'm saying. They don't phone it in on the bread, so whatever sub you order is going to be at least really good. The only con with the philly was that it had this prevailing taste of what I would compare to canned mushrooms. The sub didn't contain mushrooms, but that was the taste we got from it. We managed a return visit maybe a few weeks later. This place is a drive for most of us I imagine, but Bella's next door really helps takes the sting off. This was a simpler order, just their world famous "Special # 3", which as you all know is a large cheese with 10 wings. We added pepperoni and went with "HBBQ" wings. We weren't sure if the H was honey or hot, but we rolled the dice and got honey. Extra Crispy and whenever it's an option, extra saucy. If we could get our wings in a cauldron of sauce, we would fish them out, take a shower, and come back every day. So we were happy to get a good deal of sauce with our one dollar "extra saucy" upgrade. The wings were about average, good size and texture, and were pretty sweet with all the sauce. We'd probably go with hot or garlic next time. The Pepperoni pizza was kind of a disappointment. As predicted, it was the same setup as the bourbon chicken with no bourbon chicken to save it. It was thin, toasty, light, chewy, and whatever. It was just like any other pepperoni pizza you've ever forgotten. It was the kind of pizza your boss stacks in the break room once a month in lieu of a pay raise. I guess it's a matter of style preference, because we definitely weren't into it, but if you take a random poll in Syracuse, a lot of people are. If you ever accidentally pass exit 5 on 690 W, take it as a sign, double down and try them for yourself.“
“Varsity is great! Seriously, if you're into fresh salads and good service, this place is where it's at.I'm hooked on their Chef Salad – always fresh, always delicious. Also, the Blueberry Lemon Cookie is great. I love the mix of those two flavors. And let's talk about the folks behind the counter – always on point and making sure you're well taken care of. I would highly recommend Varsity!“
“Decent restaurant, has been pretty solid for the decades I've been coming here. It is not the best food, but it is good, the service is good too. The interior could use a serious make over but it is what it is, part of the charm I guess.“
“We order and pick up often! Best Pizza on the Northside, maybe in the city?!Kid-friendliness: What kind doesn't like pizza?! And they have boneless wings and other finger foods too!Parking: Plenty of parking everytime we pick up our food!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to get in the building, I don't remember if there is any seating, if there is there are only a few. It's a pick up and delivery kind of place.“
“It was cool to run into Norma my dated sisters best friend. Good place to go great beers and great folks.Wheelchair accessibility: Watched a brother in a wheelchair come to the bar and ask for his favorite and everyone told him see you tomorrow so he must be a regular.“
“Bianchi’s catered our staff luncheon at a local elementary school and It was absolutely amazing! Reasonably priced and all of the staff and teachers were asking about the food! On time, excellent service, delicious! I plan to use them for future large and small events!! Thank you, Sam!“
“Food was too expensive everything else was great also to find out the information was bad we thought u only did a birthday party because when u call that all they say is u need to make a reservation but we just wanted to come as a family“
“OMG. Right in the middle of pizza row. Rt. 11 North Syracuse to Cicero is a gas station that serves better and WAY cheaper food. My mind is blown. The calzone was huge, cooked perfectly and $6 less than the famous place down the street that raised prices and lowered quality. Chicken parm sandwich awesome. And didn't commit armed robbery to deliver it. Just be careful with the website, I think a delivery service hijacked it. Love this place.“
“This charming bakery, tucked away like a hidden treasure, is more than just a bakery; it's a culinary gem! ?? They labor diligently daily, crafting fresh delights, from scrumptious bread to delectable rolls and mouthwatering pizza dough. Their pizza is a revelation, worth the longest drive, and an essential addition to every foodie's bucket list! #BakeryGems #FreshDelights #PizzaPerfection ?????“
“Pretty solid place for some variety of food. They do everything from pizza to burgers and breakfast with egg sandwiches and such in the morning. It's very reasonably priced. It's not fine dining but it is definitely probably a good little college hotspot.“
“The staff was way better than the last time I went there. A 100% improvement. Great food today, I enjoyed my visit very much. I'm very happy they got rid of the slackers and the people that were making this place a terrible place to go and spend a couple years since I have visited this location because of the service I received the time before. But like I said, it is a lot more professional and the food and service reflect that.“
“For once I had a delicious and stress free dinner! Tonight was the first night I’ve ever tried Little Mac’s Pizza and I got a half cheese half pep with hot wings and everything was above par! You can definitely taste the real cheese and simply flavorful pizza sauce. I call myself a critic about wings and the wings were excellent quality with a pretty decent hot sauce. Wasn’t hot enough though ? overall I give my meal 9.5 out of 10 rating ?? thanks guys“
“Never had a bad meal here to date, customer service has always been good. Big fan of the random french fry pizza that pops up every once and awhile, they also have extremely good wings, crispy but not dry. My wife and i will often order the philly steak pizza, on Monday's and Tuesday they have a deal on cheese pizzas which is nice, however their large cheese and 10 wing deal is even better.Kid-friendliness: Very clean safe and appropriateParking: Lots of space easy to parkWheelchair accessibility: No stairs all street level access“
“Love this place,it's an Eastwood staple. Ordered a plain cheese pizza a couple weeks ago,and the order never printed. Went in to grab it and when the employee noticed the issue, he was very apologetic, and I had my pizza in 10 minutes. He even threw extra cheese on it for me.“
“Just a great place to have lunch or supper.... Some of the best Italian food in the area....... A giant Chicken Caesar's salad half went home, a large serving of Lasagna, Fried clams with to helpings of French fries and plenty of bread all very very good.......Parking: No parking issues at all....“
“Delicious home cooked food, lovely restaurant, large portions and homemade desserts. I have done take out , delivery , and eaten in the dining room and bar area Mona Lisa Ristorante is always excellent. Try their haddock special Fishfry Fridays and their prime rib with homemade mashed potatoes or home baked macaroni and cheese they are wonderful . My favorite two dishes are the chicken franchaise and the pork Normandy these both are so flavorful and delicious. Chef Dan has been at this location for years and never disappoints. I highly recommend it !!Vegetarian options: Eggplant, pizzas, pastas, salads Utica green, fish, and shrimp.Parking: Our front of restaurant good size parking lot.“
“AWESOME WINGS!!! Pizza is always really great too. The dough is always the right texture. We have been regulars here since they moved into the neighborhood. The owner is one of the sweetest, hardest working men that we have seen in quite a while. Always honored to support a local family “
“This place is the best ever since the other crepe place nere billy bee sold out to new owners. It a shame to even call themselves a crepe place and terrible customer service. Thank god for salt n sweet in the food court. A beautiful Spanish family runs it and they filling those old shoes. Make sure u thank momma she will make you a beautiful tasty crepe !!“
“Best pizza I've had in a looooong time ! The dough, the sauce , the cheese and oh my god the crust ( the crunch on it ) auuugh everything is perfect! The owner and his team are very friendly and fun to talk to. Made us feel like we've known him for years ! Anytime we're back here we'll come here for sure ! We appreciate our conversation we had today and you never know maybe we'll leave Canada and be here soon!“
“We ordered delivery for a family. The pizza is good not too greasy with the right amount of crisp. The wings were memorable with the right amount of sauce. Fried vegetables are a great alternative. The fried zucchini tasted just like French fries.“
“First time ordering for home takeout (always pop in for a lunch slice) and they did not disappoint. Just got the cheese pie and it was fresh and hot. Likely wouldn't have done wings but because they do 1/2 dozen sizes I did; glad they do this! Great food and employees at this Eastwood location! (always has been too)“
“We went on the second Sunday that Mona Lisa's had their breakfast buffet. The food was excellent! Very tasty and a nice variety. The buffet is all you can eat, but does not include coffee, tea, or juice. Those can be ordered separately. The service was good and will likely get better after a few more buffet Sundays. As for ambiance, it is a comfortable space with interesting Mona Lisa artwork. One thing we liked was that there are no steps, which makes getting in and out of the restaurant easy for everyone. I will definitely recommend this place to folks who are looking for a Sunday brunch buffet!“
“Wow! Happened upon this little gem while I was walking back to my car. At first I was thinking - “ugh- another pizza place” - but I grabbed a menu anyway, looked it over and was pleasantly surprised. (and then had such hard decisions to make on what to order!) I ordered the pork tenderloin sliders and was surprised to get 3 big sliders on THE best garlic knots/rolls I’ve ever had. The flavor combo was amazing! Anything with garlic aioli is always a good combo but they upped it a notch with their maple caramelized onions. Just wow. There are so many intriguing items on the menu that I need to go back. Will definitely be telling my office about this one!“
“This was our first time here and we definitely will be back. Food was great service was fantastic so friendly u don't think pizza when u think of this place but it's one of the best pizzas around my son says 10 out of 10 and he's picky about his pizzaKid-friendliness: My son loved it the waitress was so sweet and she made him feel special and that means a lot he is a special child and is very shy he really loved it we will definitely be back“
“I came here when it was rented out for a painting party event and had a wonderful experience. Staff was great to work with and they even created a new menu that night with the party theme. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but it’s downtown, so it’s not as if the restaurant has any control over that. Will definitely be coming back regularly.“
“Start to finish, it was impeccable. The bartenders last night were fantastic. Our server Leah, was outstanding. They were packed but the service was flawless. The food is out of this world, reminds me of the fresh pastas of Italy. We took some hot Tom sauce back with us and I will savor every bite!“
