We went to breakfast and had decaf tea, scrambled eggs, toast with peanut butter, fried potatoes and grits. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and we had good service.
It was a great, classic diner experience. When we arrived the parking lot was packed and assumed it would be a long wait, but we were pleasantly surprised that they had available seating. The staff were great and handled the volume of customers well. The food came out in a timely matter as well, and was reasonably priced. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the neighborhood!

A diner that reminds me of weekends going to breakfast with my grandparents when I was young. The food is amazing, and the service is spectacular. The Gem is a diamond in the rough, a perfect idea of a classic American diner.
