“My wife and I had never been to Tarrytown before, but on a whim got a reservation for our anniversary at Bistro 12. We couldn't recommend it more! We ate the lobster bisque, calamari and a Caesar salad to start. I had the seafood risotto and my wife had the Ravioli Tartufata, both very delicious. Both the food and service were fantastic, would return in a heartbeat.”
“Coffee Labs is the best spot for caffeine in the Hudson Valley. Hands down. The team takes their coffe beans seriously. Pastries from local makers are an extra bonus.”
“Both the food and service were tremendous. We had the manchego cheese appetizer paella, and drinks. Will definitely be going back again.!!!PS. We arrived before they opened at 5pm but they opened the door and sat us at a table!!”
“First off, what can I say about the wonderful wait staff. The hostess, Ronnie, was top notch sweet! Then my waitress, Eddy, kept offering us water to keep our thirst quenched. I was utterly happy. Then, we ordered their homemade miso soup! What a treat! My favorite part of the meal was their duck ramen. Such a tender feeling of gratitude. A must visit for a wonderful price!”
“The Moroccan mint tea was OUTSTANDING!! The food was delicious-had the mushroom omelette, which seemed to be popular. The waiter was attentive. Space is a little cramped but cozy if you don't mind hearing your neighbors conversation.”
“Terrific sandwich shop - huge portions at very reasonable prices. Fun people behind the counter. Creative "signature" sandwiches in addition to wonderful reliable ham and swiss, blt, BEC, etc.Vegetarian options: eggplant, roasted peppers, delicious cheeses”
“My wife and I enjoyed the delicious egg breakfast, mine with ham hers bacon. The tasty potatoes grilled to perfection along with the buttered toast made for a full meal.”
“Everything was perfect. The hummus, sauces, chicken shawarma, and falafel were out of this world good. I’ve been to several places in Westchester for quality Mediterranean food and this one has landed at the top of my list. Great ”
“Surprisingly good bakery hiding in the train station. The burritos were a great grab before sprinting to the train, and the PB miso cookie was the perfect chewy/crunch ratio.”
“The food is very, very delicious, we went as a family and we all loved it, the staff is purely Mexican (from Puebla) and although the place is small it is worth going, the prices are a little high but it is compensated by the amount of ”
“Consistently great fare, lots of GF options including buns and fries!! A staple if you are looking for a tasty, clean lunch or brunch. If only they had GF pancakes!!”
“When I'm in Tarrytown, I dread going to either McDonald's or a pizzeria with expensive slices. Thank goodness I stumbled on Osaka.I visited Osaka today and ordered a chicken teriyaki, with miso soup, white rice and salad. The service, food and prices (a few dollars more than going to pay for a McDonald's meal or two slices and a drink) were excellent. The chicken had great flavor, while the miso soup did not disappoint.”
“I was never a big fan of pretzels, until I tried Posh Pretzels!! These pretzels are an absolute delight! My favorite is the coconut with caramel… YUMMY! Highly recommend this place!”
“Delicious food with vegan options. Very friendly staff. I got the egg+cheese on the jalapeño cheddar biscuit with regular coffee (no espresso machine). Look forward to trying the smoothies next time. Easy walk to/from train station.”
“Loved the restaurant's unique setting in a historical manor, however both the food and the service left something to be desired. We went for a 5:30 pm dinner for two and upon arrival, was brushed off by a cold hostess for our reservation. We also had to wait at least ten minutes to order and only was able to do so after flagging down someone who seemed like a manager after our server was MIA.Once we ordered, the food came very quickly. The modern Chinese fare is unique for the area and the highlights were the crispy shrimp bao and the flowering cauliflower main. We also ordered the black pepper beef and mushroom noodles, but found both dishes were overpowered by a heavy use of hoisin sauce that made them taste a bit one-dimensional.Overall, enjoyed Goosefeather — it was an interesting dining experience and we're glad we tried it but not sure if we'll return.Parking: Free parking with valet if you're dining at the restaurant (tip encouraged)”
