Ok this is the best little diner!! I got the fish fry today and it's DELICIOUS! Big size piece of fish and two sides for $9.99! You can't beat that price and especially for how good it is! The portions aren't skimpy either! Will be my new place for fish for sure. They also have really cheap breakfast which is super yummy too!

It's what you would expect driving past. The coffee is better than Tim H. We have had the burrito breakfast and French toast breakfasts many times here. One star deleted for having an ultrasonic repelling device at our favorite table ( they don't work ) and for having a Prius swallowing parking lot. Our replacement for J.J.s cafe.

I've walked past this shack hundreds of times, and walking in, I nearly about faced out of there. It wasn't the mild ramshackleness of it all, with its crooked table or lack of chain style decor. It was a face in the back of the room. It's a small space, too small to hide from your neighbors. But you're there to eat, to stuff your face with their belt loosening portions, and it's rude to talk with your mouth full, so we stayed. Smart move. My pal and I opted to order off the breakfast side of the menu. I questioned how big the "huge" pancakes were, my fingers crunching like quotes. From what the waitress explained, it was as big as a plate, and thick, too big for her to even finish. Big enough to suffice changing it to all caps HUGE, so I went for plan B. I asked for an omlette, or /ouellette/ as their menu called it. They were out of feta for the spinach one, so I was given the option of substituting another and sprung on the opportunity to get pepper jack. She asked if home fries were okay, and I asked if I could sub anything, to which she said not really, but with four half slices of rye toast, I would be stuffed as it was. My pal went for the biscuits and gravy, or /gray/, and a side of egg with white toast. It's a good thing that this place pays more attention to its food than the typos on its menu. This place is called /Fast Teddy's./ There's a giant bear on the fridge, who I assume is Teddy. The fast part, well, it was lunchtime on a Saturday. It went as fast as it could, given that food takes time to cook, and we were far from the only two there, but in the current culture of fast food, the name is a bit deceiving. We both agreed that it must have been named Breakfast Teddy's, given its early closing time, but the Break wouldn't fit on the sign and they ran with it. Whatever you call it, it was worth the wait. The toast was on the softer side, which is how I like it. Crisp enough to bite without crumbs tumbling down your shirt, coated with a layer of butter. My pal dipped hers in the yolk of her egg while I ate mine as is, as both ways work. I took a bite of my potatoes, because it's harder to resist when they've been so kind to leave the skins on. I didn't note a lot of seasoning before scooping them onto her emptied plate to make room for the main attraction. Overall the food isn't super salted, but they've left S&P on the table, and offered hot sauce, so it's probably to make sure that you can tweak it to your liking. A tiny sprinkle went a long way with my eggs. The cheese was layered on in slices across the top. I cut it into strips, noting the gobs of spinach. They managed to get it right on the line of perfection before it wilts into nasty, mixing wonderfully with the pepper jack as if it had been meant that way all along. Three eggs was enough to fill me without making me burst. It's been a few hours and I'm still feeling content. My pal looked at her wading pool of gravy. There was meat nibblets throughout too. She would have offered me a peppery bite, but I don't do pork, so she finished off her plate, happy with her decision. She noted the biscuits were a teeny bit dry. Considering the amount of gravy, that was small potatoes. The idiom, not the home fries. :Looks like that Lumiere was right to say "try the gray stuff, it's delicious." The price is incredibly affordable for what you get. With Lou's closed down, it's your best bet to find a diner in these parts, and now when I pass by for the something hundred and second time, I'll know that if my stomach rumbles, it's okay to make the detour.

12/01/21 Wednesday noonish. I tried a ? ofstuffed soup. It was okay.2nd egg salad sandwich was okay.(1st egg salad sandwich looked like a tablespoon of protein on a cracker)Eggs, bacon and toast were prepared how I ordered them. They were delicious!I met my relative here. She was already engaged with another stranger eating his breakfast when I walked in. We found out he paid for our meals. The customer said something like "don't break the chain"!!)We left a 25% tip!

This really isn't a review on their food as I didn't eat. However, I was killing some time to pick up my buddy from an appointment and stopped for a coffee. This is the kind of place I love. No frills, a little beat up and super friendly. I sat at the counter and was probably given a menu and a cup of delicious hot coffee. The daily paper was on the counter. The menu had all the usual breakfast specials and omelettes. There was a small crowd of regulars and TV was playing a morning game show. I told the sole waitress I only wanted coffee and she kept it coming as long as I sat there. I'll mention there was some delicious looking pies that were homemade and I probably should've had a piece of the chocolate cream. The Apple also looked outstanding. I enjoyed the small talk with the waitress and the cook who is sitting at the counter in between orders. A local guy sat next to me and wanted to chat about the neighborhood. I felt very comfortable just being there and will certainly come back for pie if nothing else. Small local diners have become harder to find these days and I can't believe I had never been in there before.

Used to be a regular but service and food going down hill ordered a breakfast sandwich and fired and got a burned box with holes in it. Kinda afraid to eat my food for fear it’s covered in melted styrofoam.

Any place that has the motto "Cold Coffee and Lousy Food" has to be a fun place to eat at. We stopped at this diner and had a very good breakfast. Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior because the interior is like most small town diners you will find. I had bacon, eggs, home fries and toast and it was very good. My wife tried the breakfast sandwich with bacon and said she enjoyed it. Our waitress was friendly and did a nice job with our order. Give this place a try for good food, friendly service, hot coffee and reasonable prices.

Unfortunately I can’t give negative stars. Dirty and disgusting is the way I’d describe fast teddys. The hall was filthy dirty when we walked in and the unknown smell us best described as a mix of sweat and mold. After looking into the restaurant I turned and walked out. I simply refuse to eat anyplace that put so little effort into being clean. For whatever reason this establishment thinks being dirty is a proud trademark.

Basic breakfast food. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Weird smell kinda when you first come in. Building looks like a dilapidated double wide that was turned into a restaurant. This isn't a bad thing... it's strangely appealing and super low key. Enjoyed my breakfast.
