Everytime I want to love this place and to some degree it has its moments of shine, but overall it simply misses the mark and disappoints us too many times. This time, the entrees were underwhelming in execution and presentation and the place gives a vibe that they cannot do wrong and know best about food which is far from the truth. The steak was served cold and was not memorable in flavor, consistency and presentation. The bigoli was soaked in sauce and did not highlight the signature lobster in the dish. The deserts are always superb and made up for it . If you go here you’re better off w small plates , pizzas and dessert . Avoid entrees if you can until they can be more consistent. While I give them credit for their efforts to be creative and innovative , it comes at the cost of consistency and execution and unfortunately we will be dining elsewhere for a while.

Had a very awkward experience dining here last weekend. We had a party of 8 on a Saturday and were told our reservation was for 9 PM. At 8:10 PM we were called by the establishment and told “not to show up late” because they stop seating at 9 PM. In attempt to be accommodating, we asked if we should just leave now and try to get there early and were told no, our table wasn’t ready yet. Then upon arrival, we were scoffed at by both people in reception who didn’t seem to believe that we had a 9pm res. Once seated, we had the horror of witnessing each of the servers, chefs, etc… at the moment of realization (thanks, open kitchen concept!) that they now had a table of 8 to deal with. And I don’t just mean awkward glares, I mean actively pointing at us, shaking their heads, crossing their arms. Absolutely mortifying. That being said, they gave us the most polite and patient server who didn’t rush us or make us feel like we were inconveniencing him for being there. All of the other workers were as salty as what you’re passing off as beef tartar, which mostly consisted of capers and mustard seeds. An altogether awkward and embarrassing experience, and a huge let down from what I had heard was an outstanding restaurant.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Buffalo in a long time. Tried serveral different appetizers and two main dishes. The beef tartare was some one the best I’ve ever had. The Focaccia bread with prosciutto and butter is a must have. Oysters were so fresh. Caviar and pork belly also amazing. Lobster Pasta was homemade and the sauce was delicious. The fries I had as a side for the burger was some of the best French fries I’ve ever had in my life. Dessert was homemade. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place sooner. Our server Nick provided top notch service and was very knowledgeable. I was very impressed.

The food and waiter were incredible, the wine list too. The ambience doesn’t reach the caliber of the menu and wine list, but we were there in the winter months and are excited to return when it’s warmer.
We had to wait 45 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. The hostess is didn't seem to care to communicate with us what the delay was and when we asked for a complimentary app we were told that she does not have the authority and seemed frustrated when we asked her to speak to someone who does.. we had an exceptional server named John he turned everything around he was Dynamic outstanding made wonderful food recommendations and at the end of the evening also provided us each with a free dessert to compensate for the inconvenience of having to stand for 45 minutes. The most exceptional and terrific thing about our experience was John our server second to that was the outstanding food and drinks. I would only encourage that management present themself when there is a complaint to ask patrons if they're having a good experience and allow themselves to be open for feedback.

Absolutely the best restaurant in WNY, hands down. I don’t know why it took me so long to try.This restaurant is all about attention to detail. The space is warm and has a cozy feel. The staff were very nice and our waiter Richard was great.The food is really excellent, the balance of not only the flavors but the textures and appearance are a testament to the chef here. I would compare this to be on the level of Fork in Philadelphia.Can’t wait to return again and again.
