So my husband Don is a cranky old man on chemotherapy with all kinds of food and restaurant rules. We went last night about 8 pm. There were a few tables filled. The dining room is quiet and decorated nicely. We each ordered the Pasta Pomodora. Recently visited Rizzo's for their Friday fish fry. It was hot crispy with many choices for side dishes. Although it was very busy the Manager check on his customers and helped the serving staff when necessary. Rare in today's world when the majority of restaurant managers just try to look too busy. Always excellent food and service is far and above most places. The bread and pesto is amazing! My fiancé always opts for the steak hoagy or the pollo loco sandwich with fries...huge portion, excellent meats and veggies on sandwich bread that is toasted and delicious...I am vegan and order penne with marinara sauce and artichoke hearts...the sauce has chunky tomatoes with sautéed onions, not runny or thin. Nice quiet locally owned with great staff and food is always consistent.
