“Had another fabulous dining experience at Joeys. We brought another couple to try out the restaurant. We sampled many appetizers including the oysters (MUST GET, trust me), calamari, antipasto, Italian greens, fried provolone bruschetta. The only time our table stopped chatting lol is because the appetizers were that good.Our dinners came properly after our apps. My party ordered off the main menu and the special menu entrees. Again everything delicious. Such big portions we all had to go containers.Just a great dining experience. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you.“

“O'Scugnizzo's offers a pizza like no other. The pizza sauce is on top of the pizza and with cheese and other toppings underneath. Some call it upside down pizza, it should just be called "Great!" There is a reason this place has been open for over 100 years and is the second oldest pizzeria in the US.The chicken riggies are also another unique Utica regional food which is a must try. Restaurant service was very good and staff was friendly. Make sure to see the photos of the original owner of the restaurant from 1914. This place a must stop if you are visiting Utica.Parking: The restaurant has it's parking lot and it looks like you can park for free on the streets near it.“
“Recently moved to the area and stopped by this place on a whim. Upon entering was hit with this amazing smell. After enquiring of it's source we were directed to their sausage rolls. Grabbed a Sicilian sausage roll for my family and trust me when I say it was more than enough food to feed three of us for pretty cheap too!“
“Ordered a fish and chips to go for pick up. The service was really friendly when I picked up. Restaurant looks clean and big. Fish and chips is not the best to go item because it inevitably gets a little soggy on the way home. It was really great tasting though and I would order it again!“
“Even though we were really looking forward to our first visit to Tavolo - it was a little disappointing.The service was good (not great) and it’s a pleasant vibe - we sat outdoors - but the traffic along Genesee St takes away from the overall experience. My feeling is that at a higher end restaurant service should be near perfect and the food should be mind blowingly good, which was not the case on either count.We shared their Utica style greens (our server told us that they’re the inventor of that dish) and were super happy. Great flavor, nice spice and kick, as expected.Our meals weren’t as good as we would have hoped. I had their NY strip steak and it was grizzly, although flavored properly. My wife had their shrimp and salmon meal and while she said the shrimp was really good; she also thought the salmon was lacking overall.It could be we caught them on a bad night - it happens. But in the overall it was less than expected compared to what we had hoped for. Perhaps another visit will be better.“
“Stopped in on the way home per recommendation and wow some the best pizza I've had in along time. The crust was so fluffy and crispy. The flavor was on point and don't get me started on the garlic bread ? we will definitely be back “
“I ordered take out here. The pizza was pretty good. The crust was good and the sauce is sweet tasting. They used a great amount of cheese on the pizzas. I personally prefer my wings to be saucier and more greasy/buttery but the meat quality was good.“
“Just ordered the BEST fish fry I have ever gotten in Utica, the size of the fish doesn’t even do this photo any justice, it’s huge! Fries are nice and crispy and the coleslaw is light not too much mayo! Great atmosphere, the staff are polite and friendly and owners are great people who make you feel like you’re at home, My only complaint is that I didn’t order this sooner so I could enjoy it faster! “Four of us went in last night for dinner we ordered ravioli, loaded waffle fries and a large garlic pizza with broccoli. We also ordered 2 rounds of cocktails. The food was amazing. We had a ton of left overs and it cost way less then we thought it would! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area! Also staff was quick, on top of things and extremely friendly!“
“We decided to try this place out for my father in laws birthday since I saw a great review in the Gluten Free Facebook group. They really do have the best gluten free pizza and awesome service! There is just one or two tables to eat as it is mostly take out right now. Hope they will turn it into a restaurant in the future.“
