We ordered the Brussel sprouts, a skirt steak, a strip steak and old bay fries. The brussel sprouts were pretty good. The skirt steak was pretty good and the fries were good. The Strip steak was ordered medium rare and was served about medium well. Overall, the meal was pretty good, but definitely not worth the price. For a similar price we could have gone to a steakhouse and gotten really good steaks.
This was Saturday night at 7:15. First impression was the restaurant and bar was very attractive. There is a large enclosed tent area at the back of the restaurant that added many tables and was very well done. Our table was in an odd location but away from the bar area which was very buzzy, not in a bad way, but we preferred the quieter area. We had NE clam chowder, one of the best we ever had. My son and I went to dinner. Had 1 beer and 1 soda. NY Strip Steak and fries very over cooked. House burger and fries very greasy couldnt eat bun so greasy. Calamari under cooked. Wings were very good. NE Clam Chowder was good. I have ate here many times before and this was the first time I walked away disappointed in the food. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. 2 people cost just under 160.00 with proper 20% tip.
