There aren't a ton of Mexican options around our area (that I've found anyway) so I was excited to try this one out when we found it. It was pretty good. We tried the chicken enchiladas, tacos (chorizo, shrimp, and beef), fries (of course), and the chips and guac. Everything was pretty good, some parts were a little dry. Small place can't really dine in but for take out there's no competition hands down fantastic cooking and flavors. Well, what can I tell you, the place doesn't have much space. It is not a place to sit and eat. The service was very excellent. The food is very delicious and actually tasty too. When I am traveling from Connecticut to Pennsylvania I will surely stop at this place again. In my opinion, La Picara has no competition, it is unique.
