My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful experience- the ambience, service, and food was truly outstanding. I had the carbonara and my wife had the steak, and we got the pizza and stuffed olives for appetizers. Every bite was better than the next, and the whole ride back to NJ was us planning a return trip with our parents. Perfectly nice location, great staff. Food is OK. I struggled with calling this a 3 star review, it can easily be a 4 based on staff or ambience and even when I think back on it now, I really just didn't enjoy the food. I tried the stuffed olives which sounded interesting but just didn't agree with my palate. The food was very very standard. I am scratching my head how the restaurant is on Michelin guide…. The food is so average and far from authentic Italian. Spaghetti Vongole I had was more like watery bland clams soup. Very disappointed with the food.
