“Go here! These folks were the best. We were from out of town and this is the first place we stopped and ate. Talked to them and got neighborhood info. They were great and the pizza is delicious. Made sure we said goodbye our last night and the people we met that week came out and gave us a nice send off.“
“I still have dreams about this to this day. I swear to god. It’s been 9 years but I miss the taste of this delicious hot cheese pizza slice. Back when it just 1.50$. I remember coming home from school and buying a slice when I walked home. Sorry it took this long but I’m leaving a review 9 years later just describing how mind boggling this pizza was. I will come back to New York some day.“
“Good place with cheap but good pizza. I have been eating pizza for a long time there and every time i go there the pizza is as good as the previous times. So good jobs to PAPA John pizza for delivering great pizza on time every time. The staff working there are amazing.“
“Truth be told, I do miss Papa Sal's. A few years ago they had a rough start with me given their haphazard deliveries but somehow rebounded to become one of the more underrated pizzerias in Woodside. When they were on, they were fantastic. The key to enjoying their pizza for me, was simply dining in. The counter display was key in enticing folks to try various slices and I always appreciated their specialty pizzas. The white, baked ziti, and buffalo chicken slices were always a hit. While the sicilian didn't always look great, it was one of the more tastier options. Where they had initially dropped the ball with me was with delivery. Some really flimsy boxes lead to the pizzas falling apart upon receiving. I know things happen, but I resorted to getting take out instead, which worked well. After several phone calls and I imagine some feedback from other customers, they made some changes and pizzas started arriving in one piece. It was finally coming together. And then one day they closed. I will miss the young men behind the counter cracking jokes and the friendly staff that was always doing their best to keep people engaged and eating their pies. Here's hoping they turn up somewhere else in the borough. Pizza is always a welcome meal.“
“Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday last night. We did have to wait a while for a table to become available but the staff and management took great care of us while we waited. They sat us in the lounge area and served us drinks. When we arrived to the table they brought us a focaccia for waiting too. All of these gestures went a very long way and make this restaurant stand out.“
“Food was delightful - pizzas came out piping hot and perfectly seasoned (and also interesting flavor combos). Service is great and loved the atmosphere. Thought the apps were secondary in comparison (but still very good!), the main star is pizza pizza pizza!“
“Everyone in New York has heard of L'Industrie pizza and there is always a giant line outside that place. My husband and I decided to try it last weekend and we ordered 5 different slices. The burrata slice was magical, 5/5, but the white slice was very underwhelming and lacked flavor. My husband felt similarly about his slices: he LOVED the Fig Jam & Bacon slice, but his other 2 slices were just ok.Given that it felt like half their menu was great and the other half underwhelming, I just couldn't give it the 5 stars.Don't be intimidated by the line - it moves quick and the pizza comes out fast once you order.“
“Perhaps the BEST PIZZA in NYC?? I usually get the same thing every time I go, which is the “hotboi.” It’s basically pepperoni, cheese, and jalapeno. What makes it “the best” is the hot honey drizzle?? Always a long wait, but trust me, it’s gonna be worth it. There is no turning back once you’ve tried it?“
“One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We had the spicy salami, L’Industrie slice which was prosciutto and burrata, and the tartufo mushroom slice. Perfectly crispy and perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. Fantastic tiramisu as well. It gets super busy but everything moves quickly. Highly highly recommend.“
“If you are looking for Ecuadorian food, this is the place to go too, especially if you are in Woodside Queens. This is a family orientated restaurant, small and cozy. The owner and his wife are both born and raised in Ecuador, very friendly customer service. Every option on their Ecuadorian menu is TOP-NOTCH DELICIOUS!! I have tried all their Ecuadorian dishes from Chicken soup, chaulafan, chivo , ceviche and etc were all delicious. i highly recomend this place if you want to try ECUADORIAN FOOD!“
