It's what you would expect by looking at it. Dive bar, with some character. I did not eat the food, so I cannot speak to it personally. I can say that others were eating and seemed to be enjoying what they had. The service was great didn't wait for anything and bartender knew what he had.If you like dive bars, this is what it is. Personally, I had a good time throwing darts and having a beer.
This is my best friend's dad's bar. So I may be biased , but anyhow this is an awesome bar . Very laid back and respectful staff and patrons . It's For anyone and everyone. Have a good time ?Kid-friendliness: For food, remember it is a bar , but it's small town family friendly!

Sort of a dive bar (which I like). The bartenders (owners) were very friendly, as were the customers I interacted with.I had the Chicken Dumpling soup, probably the best I ever had. It was packed with dumplings and they were delicious.I don't live in Cincy, but will go back to Shamrock whenever I'm in town.
