This is the best place to sit and watch the planes/helicopters/blimps take off and land at the Akron Fulton airport, so it’s like drinks and a show. I’ve never met an unpleasant bartender here and it definitely won’t break the bank if you stay for a couple drinks. Haven’t eaten the food here yet but everyone seems to rave about it, will definitely be trying it on my next visit to that area

Classic Akron Bar in Akron's Ellet neighborhood. Friendly crowd, sometimes older just after work but usually gets younger as evening goes on. Best nights are Thursdays (all domestic bottles $1 until 9pm) and Tuesdays, with specials and a fun Karaoke crowd; lots of fun. Good Happy Hour specials, and food is good, even as kitchen is in transition.
