My 12-year-old loves Panera. It's the mac and cheese served in the bread bowl, even though he doesn't always eat the entire bread bowl. I then end up eating the bread bowl even though I just ate a salad or something that isn't bread. So it's a win for him but for me, not so much. Personally, I think they need to cut the prices a bit as the food is just ok.
One of many Panera locations in the Youngstown area. This one is clean and well staffed. The coffee is good, and the pots are refreshed regularly, so it's always hot and delicious. That being said, their food is just ok, certainly nothing to write home about. They offer salads, sandwiches, soups and flatbreads. They also have Mac and cheese. Was disappointed today, my Napa chicken salad sandwich was put together wrong, the top piece of bread was put on backwards.
