Friday pizza night, and we decided to try a new / old place: Adriatico's. Near UC, this place has been here a long while. It's a pizza and a bar, so that's the vibe you get. They have many tables and a bar. It was crowded on a Friday night, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes. We ordered an antipasto salad, large, split between 3 of us and it worked great size-wise. Fantastic pizza spot with plenty of customization options, from Sicilian-tossed to hand-tossed pizza, along with a wide range of toppings to choose from (with toppings like banana peppers, anchovies, pineapple—a perfect blend of savory and sweet if you share my taste ?). The Parmesan breadsticks were also a great appetizer, with warm and fluffy breadsticks coated in Parmesan that would easily be a crowd pleaser.

So, unlike every other Cincinnatian, I have mixed feelings on the pizza. It's definitely very yummy! But it doesn't blow me away. HOWEVER the jalapeño poppers are literally to die for. They are some of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Especially when they have jus the right amount of heat, with a crispy shell on the outside.
