First time visiting and was blown away by how authentic the foods are. To be honest, we heard about Chinese Imperial Inn for a while but didn't stop by because we afraid it is just another Chinese basic fast food restaurant. But no, despite the run down look, the foods were great. The service was great too. Our server greet us with a warming smile and quickly seat us down and take our order. The food came out fast too. I was impressed. After talking to the waitress, we found out the restaurant is over 30 yrs old, family run. No wonder why it has such great ambiance. I would recommend dinning in instead of order take out. Lot of food need to be eaten right away. Sitting in the box makes the food soggy and overcooked. Deff will come back for more. Just thinking about it s me hungry.

Definitely our to go to Chinese restaurant!Don't judge a book by its cover. This restaurant is a secret gem in Cincinnati. The owners are nice once you get to know them. The food is always good whether you take out or dine in! Been coming here for the past 9 years with friends & family and it never fails :)

Solid 3 stars, the place is a bit older and not the prettiest but the hostess was fast and my lunch came out hot and within 8 minutes of me ordering.Could use a facelift inside and out, but overall a positive experience, and I would return.Parking: The lot is long and kinda tight getting in and out. If you have a larger vehicle.

The outside of the building is rough so this is definitely a "don't judge the food by the building!" restaurant! We chose to eat in and the service was super quick, the food is AMAZING! We got soooo much food for the price, too!!! I will drive out of my way for Chinese Imperial Inn!

We have gone here the past few years on Christmas day. It's usually crowded and the food is very good. The place is very basic and could use a spruce up. But the food is great.
I ♥️ this place for lunch! Their General Tso's Chicken is great! Fried wonton are crispy. Lunch comes with soup, an egg roll and an entree.

Lived in Cincinnati for over 10 years now and this is the best Chinese food I've had. Up there with the best food I've had. The egg rolls are top tier and the chicken with garlic sauce is amazing.

Very understated place with some of the best scallops and shrimp I have ever had in Chinese restaurants. Of course I had to have a Chinese beer as well.
