“My leadership team met here for a planning session. The atmosphere was great! The staff was so kind and helpful. We ordered a variety of drinks. I ordered coffee, others ordered wine. We also ordered a charcuterie board for the table. It was nicely prepared and everything was fresh. Highly recommend!“
“I love everything about VV. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The espresso macchiato is perfection in a beautiful teal blue cup. I love to enjoy one in the front window and watch the happenings of Mt. Lookout square. VV is not just a coffee shop though, they also have delicious pastries, sandwiches, meals, and drinks.“
“I was recommended to check out Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse and I'm glad I went. I ordered the Lavender tea and it was incredible! Highly recommended that option. They also have various other drinks on their menu as well as food. Plenty of space inside to work, study, or have a chat with friends. Service was quick.“
“We came here on a Saturday at 11:30 AM. The food, service and ambiance were top notch. We ordered the Shakshuka, Omelette and 2 Israeli sandwiches to eat. To drink, we got the the carrot and orange juices. Both delicious and freshly squeezed/pressed. The star of the show is the challah bread. Cheers !“
“A big group of us stopped by after dinner for a treat. 2 of us got churros, 1 of us got a brownie, and 2 of us got cobbler. We shocked by how delicious and affordable everything was. WAY better than Crumbl. 12/10. Also, Colton made sure we got our food and was super kind to us throughout our experience. We will be back for the food and to see Colton :)“
“We rented the space for a book signing after hours. The owner and staff were not only professional but went above and beyond to help us setup and cleanup. The vibe was perfect and all over our guests raved about it. The ambiance was beautiful. It couldn’t have gone better!“
“Popped in before dinner for drinks on Friday night. Parked right out front of the spot and breezed in. After being warmly greeted by the host, we parked at the bar. The place is beautiful. Love the design choices and the blue notes. A big table carved into the back wall looks great for a group. The drinks take awhile for the staff to make, so prepare yourself. However the wait is definitely worth it. Loved every drink we had. The French 75 was light and crisp. The Peardon my French was tasty and not overly sweet. I'm not a huge rum person but would highly recommend the hibernation sour. The bit of salt and spice was fantastic. Can't wait to come back. I want to try their daytime coffee and food menu.“
“Was told to try this place out and am very glad that I did. I ordered an iced latte and a breakfast sandwich and was blown away by both of them! Latte was small but packed a punch and had great flavor. Breakfast sandwich was a croissant with egg, sweet potato, cream cheese and (I think spinach?). Legitimately one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in the whole city. Do yourself a favor and try out this gem in the West End.“
“Out of all of the coffee houses I have visited in Cincinnati, this place is by far my favorite. The employees here are extremely inviting, introducing themselves only after my second time there. As for the food, their breakfast burrito is out of this world (I lowkey dream about it…), and my favorite drink so far is their cookie spice latte (good both iced and hot). Definitely would suggest checking it out!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the front side of the store!“
“Love this place, great local business. Great coffee, love the egg sandwich, pasties and the cinnamon sugar toasties. The place is very Cozi, this is a Sunday morning tradition for our family.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor space in the warm months is great for kids. There is also a good amount of room inside for kids“
“Upside Brew has a modern and welcoming ambience with a wide range of coffee and pastries to choose from. We found their lattes and avocado toast to be quite decent. The spacious seating here also makes for a great spot for studying and laptop work.“
“A good place to get coffee and a small bite. Definitely have some unique options but every day caffeine fixed for those who work around there. Pricing like most smaller coffee shops are a little high but worth it. They have decent food options for sure.Vegetarian options: They have some vegan options. So they try to appeal to everyone but I'm not vegan so I can't elaborate more on the vegetarian side of things.Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of the menu items labeled clearly and they will answer any questions. They do try to appeal to vegetarians or vegans as well as others.Kid-friendliness: It's a coffee shop located downtown so there is no reason kids and families cannot hang out there or stop by to get a bite to eat or a drink“
“Staff are great people that are always friendly & funny. Their drinks are delicious and I haven’t found one I don’t like. My favorite is the Cincinnati Mocha and the chai latte. I enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches and their panini blt is one of my personal favorites. They have a ramp into the store so it’s also wheelchair accessible which is wonderful. This place is all around the best local spot on the way to downtown. They survived Starbucks even moving into the same parking lot for several years which I think says a lot about their quality.Parking: You have a whole strip mall to park in.Kid-friendliness: They have toys available for play and plenty of different kinds of seating. Also a public restroom.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available for accessing the front door and plenty of up front spots.“
“Great little cafe located in a quiet part of downtown - not many places like it. Extremely friendly service and the sandwiches are always delicious. Came in for Mardi Gras and tried their sandwich, gumbo, and dirty rice combo, and loved all of it. More people need to know about this place.“
“i never leave reviews on places, but i genuinely loved it so much that i had to. the environment was so calm and welcoming and very cozy. the employees were SO nice, and on top of that, i had easily the best matcha latte i’ve ever had. highly recommend this place for a chill hangout or to get some work done :)“
“When this first opened, I came here and the music was too loud and the women barristas weren't very friendly. But now I've started coming here as often as possible! I really like Katie, the barrista and the fact that it is not crowded at all in the early afternoon so I can sit and work. Music is now great. And they just started carrying my favorite cheese, Kerry Gold. I wish there wasn't a fan intermittently blowing cold air down on me, but I can live with that. The coffee (Urbana) is great. This is just down the street from where I live. Win, win! (oh and the green St Pat cookies are way good.“
“My first visit lets me know it won't be my last. I really was not sure what to expect on house turned into coffee shop, but I was charmed! The beautiful tile floor, greenery ceiling, framed art, and tin kitchen ceiling create a warm, inviting atmosphere. I was pleased to see that food items such as salad or sandwich and ice cream are available in addition to coffee shop fare. Staff were industrious and speedy- making my in and out possible. Bar stools were available for waiting as a separate area from the patrons thick in study or conversation around tables. The london fog tea latte and blueberry scone were a delightful treat- especially the scone because of the glazed taste (like a doughnut)! Street and lot parking made the shop easily approachable. The outside space appears to have potential spring/summer outdoor seating!“
“Coffia is a delightful gem located just off Vine Street. The moment you step in, you’re greeted by a wonderfully inviting atmosphere and exceptional service that make you feel right at home. As a coffee aficionado, I pay close attention to the quality of espresso, and I must say, Coffia truly impressed me. Their espresso was expertly crafted, boasting the perfect balance of flavor and aroma. It’s clear that quality and attention to detail are top priorities here. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this charming coffee shop is a must-visit for anyone seeking a superb coffee experience.“
“Very shocked in the great price for the quality of the danish and iced latte and add-in the exquisite atmosphere. This place is truly great and I hope to go back. I got the honey bear late and an apple danish!Only difficult thing is the parking but there is plenty of side streets that are minimal walk.“
“Great food. I love that they have gluten-free bread options and their coffees are amazing too. The staff is always friendly and the homemade pastries are delicious. I also love their mission. Local people helping local people. Great breakfast food and dinner specials. Chef Gigi is the best.“
“Mom ‘n ‘em is truly a gem in Camp Washington. Their avocado toast is a personal favorite and my favorite places to get it in the city. When the weather is nice, they have a wonderful little area to sit outside. They are a little on the pricier side (a coffee and breakfast run me about $22, where as maybe other places I could get coffee and a light breakfast for around $15) but is well worth the quality of the coffee and food. Also a great place to get tined fish, if you’re a fan. Love coming here to catch up with friends or work remotely.Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives, can alter items if u have allergies. Had a close call with their granola bc it has nuts in it, but they replaced the item with no hesitation and no charge“
“Second coffee of the day and this spot got 'er done. Mostly quiet, comfortable and the coffee was good.I found a table in the back where I was not disturbed and was here for about an hour while my phone charged and I was able to write a Yelp review or two.“
“My macadamia milk latte was divine! Came 30 min before closing (ugh yes, I know and also h8 me) but was given incredible customer service + a delicious bev all the same. Their sweetness levels aren’t overwhelming at all, and the intentionality behind their future goals as an org listed clearly by the entrance is admirable. The open layout that ensures there isn’t a divide between the bar and the customer is truly unique- and the bar itself was clean (way to go barista!). 12/10 would recommend.“
“This is a great place with excellent food, great presentation, and quality ingredients.I had their eggs Benedict and a side English muffin with strawberry preserves. As the same muffin is used for the eggs Benedict I will say it is a quality muffin that came out split warm and buttered inside with the strawberry preserves soft and delicious. The eggs Benedict was wonderful as it has cubed hashbrowns that are both dense and moist, but moist inside not greasy with a crisp outside reminiscent of a home fried potatoes exterior. DeliciousThen there is a mini fruit cupThe eggs Benedict themselves start with a base of that excellent muffin then a ham that is perfect for this application... then you have a nice hollandaise and attop it is a perfectly poached egg; that when split flows nicely over the entrée.I would recommend a side of their toast to sop in the egg as the tost is very nice and tasted excellent. The mushroom and Jack cheese Omelet is a beautiful example of an Omelet as the ingredients are not just in the Omelet but present In a way that they don't seem over cooked into the egg. It's almost like they were able to make sure they all stood out and you could taste them unlike other omelets where they can be bland ingredients. It shows they know when to add the ingredients to the egg properly so you can get the flavors that contrast in texture but compliments the others flavor... came with that wonderful toast and the hashbrown cubes; it also came with that mini fruit cup. This was a pleasurable brunch...Vegetarian options: Many of the dishes are easily vegetarian friendly or can be slightly modified to accommodate.Parking: Open free lotWheelchair accessibility: Has sidewalk ramp and tables that can accommodate.“
“Believe the hype! I worked in the smoothie space in college and this is by far the best juicery I have been to. Kudos to these two for bringing the inspiration of their lives out West back home. Got some apothecary product, food, and a smoothie. Loved it all. Will be visiting anytime I’m in town. It’s a lovely space in a great area. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!“
“I loved coming to this little 2nd home type environment while in engineering school at UC music and vibes are always comforting and calming, something I always needed more of. Now coming back as a graduate it’s the same amazing place and I hope it stays this way for many many years to come :) Great place to study, read, talk, or just kill time. Their playlist is always bomb.“
“I've walked past 1215 so many times on the way to somewhere else. We were out and I was craving an espresso martini, so we figured the wine bar and coffee lab was the perfect choice. I was skeptical of ordering their fancy version or a traditional espresso martini because of the mention of chocolate. I'm not a super sweet drink kind of person. I went out on a limb and decided on their fancy version (top model or something like that?) It was sooooo good! Service was fantastic.“
“I have been to this location a few times over the last few months, and today was another lovely experience! The barista was incredibly friendly and kind, and made a delicious americano. I got there right as the pastries came in, the blueberry danish is delicious!“
“At first glance, I thought the coffee must be fantastic since the ratings were so high and it is just a little drive-thru. I wasn’t wrong there but what really makes this place stand out are the owners who run it. They always have a great attitude and the fantastic coffee is just a bonus.“
“Just a sweet bunch of gals working here.... I would not say working, I would say living! They seem genuinely happy to be here and makes you feel as if the place is yours also. Check out my ? with sausage, real egg and real cheese ? priced way under 6 bucks! I come for the coffee and stay for the food/smiles!“
“I have been a long time coffee drinker & buyer of beans from Coffee Emporium, I’ve mainly hit the downtown location cause it’s always packed in Hyde Park. The draw to the Hyde Park location is the intimate cozy vibe, but also the sense of community for the longevity of it being established in that location. The location on this day, was the connection spot for me and my old 2 brothers for our standing coffee hookup, always greeted by a friendly face and pleasant voice “Good Morning”.If you are in Cincinnati, Oh and near Hyde Park slide in and have a cup of many of the multiple flavors and standard coffees.☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️Parking: The parking is in a residential area, I would say be respectful of the area, and all should be fine.Kid-friendliness: Good area to walk and put the baby to sleep, and tons of trees.“
“If you’ve had coffee in cincinnati, there’s a good chance the beans are from deeper roots! Consistently so good!! I usually get an iced oat milk latte year round and this morning was no different Exocet I added a ham and cheese crosstant to my order! They even wanted it up for me?Wouldn’t have a cincy coffee scene without deeper roots! If you’re visiting and traveling through would highly recommend grabbing coffee from them or any coffee store that uses their beans ?Parking: There is a parking lot to the right of the store front that is free to use for any of the surprising business in the area off Madison road! There is also meter parking out front that uses the cincy ez parking app!“
“2023: 4/5 stars. Collective has lost some of its magic over the years. It's still pretty good, but the costs have just gone up a lot. Pour overs that were once $3–4 are now $6–7, when they actually have them, for example. They are using North South for pastries now which is a big win. They have largely stopped doing lots of the fine touches that used to make them what they are, such as the single origin espresso option. I still visit, but a lot less than I used to. There are so many other options now compared to OTR in 2016... the newest spots, Redtree and Coffia are both worth checking out.2016: 5/5 stars. It's the best coffee shop in OTR and in Cincinnati. The espresso drinks are nice, pour overs are great, and they do some weird stuff like espresso lemonade ("spronade"). The baristas are very friendly and the owners are down to earth and around most days. Very good neighborhood spot.“
“My son and I visited for the first time yesterday. Friends gave good reviews so I can to make a stop to Saylor park. Our coffee was excellent. I had a cinnamon roll and I definitely have to go back for that. We appreciate the hospitality. Also I totally appreciate the clean bathroom.“
“Food: 4.5/5 They have macarons in every color of the rainbow. After trying many flavors, our favorites are the pistachio, birthday cake, and fruity cereal. The pistachio has a great pistachio flavor and is not overly sweet. The birthday cake is strawberry-forward and is excellent if you have a sweet craving. The fruity cereal tastes exactly like fruity pebbles. They have other flavors we enjoy as well, like salted caramel and Madagascar vanilla. They are delicious and so cute! Service: 3.5/5 Since they have the macarons prebaked, service is usually fast. They have other baked goods for sale that I haven't tried. They have cute long boxes they put them in. Atmosphere: 4/5 The storefront is small, with limited seating. The space is mainly filled with baking equipment. It's very clean and has a minimalist aesthetic with pops of color.“
“I try to stop here when I'm traveling to Cincy. They have really good pour overs and freshly baked pastries. Lots of comfy chairs to sit and tables to work. The Vespa is a nice touch. Employees give off a too cool for you vibe, but everything else is fine.“
“Very adorably, sweet coffee shop. We had some smoothies to go along with some coffees. Seemed the owner was working and was very kind & welcoming. Would imagine if you are going mother-daughter dress shopping for a wedding, definitely the place to hit!We even had time to play a few games of connect four that was hanging out on the shelf!Kid-friendliness: Yes yes yes! Kids will love to look at all the colorful fish in the very well kept and clean fish tank!“
“Cool place, cordial staff, breakfast sandwiches and quiche were really spot on! Coffee good too, and I'm picky. Fast service. Over I liked the atmosphere - very cool but not snobby or pretentious...Only bad thing is the dining room floors were unreasonably dirty. I say unreasonably because they had salt residue all over (like when you salt due to snow or ice outside) but it had been like 5 days since we had any weather to speak of.Sweep and mop daily, and if the closers don't, ya have to do it in the morning!“
“Great coffee! They were already sold out of their quiches and sandwhiches when I strolled in around 11:15am:( but was able to snag a slice of banana bread. It was good, but nothing crazy! Ordered an iced oat milk latte and it did not disappoint! All together it was $9 for both items, not bad! Loved the glass that they served it in and with a compostable straw as well! Lots of tables but for someone who chronically forgets to charge her laptop, not enough plugs around the tables :/ there was a good chunk of people already here so I think those tables might have the plugs ? I couldn’t tell because I didn’t want to stare. If you need a stimulating place to work while getting computer work done, there are paintings and art work all around to enjoy and to even buy! As well as lots of locally made items that would be great to give as gifts!“
“Came here for some coffee and their latte was genuinely delicious. You know when your coffee tastes like how coffee smells. Highly highly recommend. The chai latte on the other hand was so heavy on ginger and nothing else... it just was not it. But I would come back for the coffee. Also, it would be great if they could get to know their products a bit. I ordered a cheesecake cake pop. 3 workers gathered to decided which one is the cheesecake one... and they got it wrong. Weird“
“I am a local College Hill resident and visit this coffee shop often. It is bright and airy with a boho modern feel. The coffee served is La Terza, which is one of the best local cincy roasters. Seasonal coffee drinks brighten up the mood with small food side dishes, including salads, pastries, and sandwiches, filling your appetite. Luminary is becoming a College Hill staple as I have run into many a neighbor there. They sell La Terza coffee in bags, which is convenient and makes a great gift.“
“Delicious bakery in downtown Cincinnati not far from the convention center. Plenty of options from donuts, croissants, danishes, cakes, hot dog buns, curry croquettes, and more. There were so many options that I had a hard time figuring out what to pick the first time that I went back again while I was in town. There was also plenty of coffee options too. Can't wait to go back!“
“Some of the smoothest hookahs I’ve ever smoked. Always amazing service and I never have to wait on coals. The staff are attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend to those looking for a chill spot to study or vibe with friends. The mint tea is delicious and you can’t beat the prices. Definitely my regular hookah spot hands down.“
“I enjoyed my visit. Our lattes were a bit more expensive then at chains. At least we were served our drinks in actual cups. Very clean and cozy decor. The staff was really nice and made the coffee quickly. The coffee was real smooth with no bitter harsh tastes at all. A good cup of coffee for sure.“
“Pendleton Parlor is a super cool neighborhood ice cream shop that uniquely offers edible cookie dough scoops along with their ice cream. I tried a Nutella Swirl (Vanilla soft serve + Nutella). It was delicious - thick, rich, creamy. The Universal Studios-esque decor is really neat and worth checking out while your treats are prepared.“
“Such a perfect little place, I wish it was closer to my home, but will make the trip back soon. Maybe to take advantage of the Wednesday or Thursday happy hour specials. The Brie baguette and croque monsieur sandwiches are perfect tasting experiences. I really appreciate their soups. The French onion and cabbage soups make you wonder why soups aren't more prominent everywhere, but most other places don't put the effort that Park Pour does.“
“One of my favorite coffee shops in Cincy. I used to live right by it so I'd go just about every day. I've gotten to know the staff quite well over the years and they are all super nice and excellent baristas. Highly recommend buying their coffee beans in bulk if you like to make coffee at home too.“
“I’m not one to just write a review but this place is amazing we stopped in to just get coffee but as a larger man I’m always hungry? .food was absolutely delicious and this place is spotless clean kind and made our day. If your in the area give this place a try ❤️“
“Delicious Ethiopian food in Cincinnati. We got there late on a Sunday night. There were only 3 selections, that's why I gave them only 4 starts. But the service was very friendly, they were attentive and the food we got was absolutely delicious! We also got a cup of Honey wine, which was a good experience too. If this was what we got late on a Sunday night, I can't imagine what we had gotten if we had come at a better time. Not in the photo is a side of flavourful lentils we added after. I will likely be back for more.“
“Cincinnati hit the jackpot with Boosalis Baking! I used to jet off to Paris for work, trying every croissant spot there, thinking nothing could match up back home. But Boosalis proved me wrong in the best way!Their chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) is the real deal. Seriously, it gives the famous spots in Paris a run for their money. And don't even get me started on their plain croissant—it's a close second to my favorite in Paris, Ble Sucre. Now, I can get my croissant fix without the long flight. Big thanks to the Boosalis team for bringing a slice of Paris to Cincinnati!“
