New, recently opened location on Glenway Ave at Glenmore/Muddycreek. Corner location with a fair amount of parking. Interior decor is nice and bright, and all staff we encountered were extremely pleasant, all offering assistance. Every customer echoed the same sentiment of being thankful for Goldstar's return to the area. Hopefully the great food and service will last long beyond this opening period.

After having a horrible experience at Cheesecake Factory, we decided to grab a quick bite at Gold Star. There were 4 staff members behind the counter doing their own thing. Not even one acknowledgement that they would be right with us or anything. The one was cleaning the machine next to the counter. After 5 minutes of waiting in silence, we decided to leave as this was unacceptable. Who trains these people. Absolutely ridiculous.

My boyfriend and I came here while visiting the kenwood mall, I LOVE the food at gold star but while we were trying to order the old woman at the counter was very rude to us and she yelled at us multiple times after we tried to tell her what we wanted she put in mutiple incorrect things and extra meals. Then when we tried to put my boyfriends chicken sandwich in she went “ITS TOO LATE TO CHANGE IT TO THAT” and we once again had to explain the other food was mine, she was so angry in fat she pulled the food cook over to also yell at us about what we ordered and when we finally got the chicken sandwhich order in he went “fine but there’s no pickles” we said that was okay and waited quietly for our food. When he finally handed me the bag and our two waters, my fries were falling out and one of the waters we were given was RED and transparent. Once we finally made it to the table I opened my portion to see it was sloppily made and they had given me less than half a bag of fries. I am super mad. This is unacceptable behavior as someone who used to work fast food. do better and fire these people, it’s the middle of the day and all we had done was order

The cashier was VERY rude. He would get visibly frustrated (huffing and rolling his eyes) with me as I was deciding what I wanted to order. He refused to put in my burger order due to him “turning off the grill for the night”. It was an hour before closing time. I only had a few minute interaction at this location and I won’t be back.

Had the absolute worst experience at this location. I have worked in the food industry before and am very understanding of workers/their situation but this encounter was the worst customer service I have ever gotten in my life. I came in for a doordash and stood to the side(like i do at every other restaurant) to tell them my order. The blonde women who works the prep and about age 40 looked at me and rolled her eyes. She said can I help you in a very rude tone. I was polite and told her who I was there for then she asks what the name is, order specifically was, to see the order, for me to repeat the order again, and the accommodations to the meal. She did this in an extremely rude manner so I asked her if there was a problem. When I said this I swore she was going to hop the counter to fight me. She created a scene and was screaming at me explaining tickets etc. i have no problem whatsoever complying to the needs of the store but she was extremely disrespectful. To top it off she threw the food towards me when she finished the order. I have never been treated with this kind of disrespect and employees should not be allowed to have this kind of attitude. I would love for the manager to watch this tape of when this occurred she should not be working here. I left feeling so confused because she had absolutely no reason to burst out on me.
I have always loved Gold Star and now they have so many new choices that are always delicious

you could make a homemade sauce that takes a couple days to cook with lots of meat in it meatballs and pulled chicken and homemade Italian sausage and stop putting handfuls of cheddar cheese on top of your spaghetti let the meat sauce be the star

Very poor service, and I was just a Doordash driver. Manager was on a non-business call, I was missing half of the order when I picked it up and had to come back. No one here knew what they were doing.
