Since moving to Ohio, I have had a plague upon my house- lame, boring, midwestern "thai" food basically more like noodle casserole than a meal designed to unclog your sinuses, sober you up, and cool you off on a sweltering 40C Thai summer day.enter: Mango Thai, where they were NOT too cat-like to give me the full 5/5 spice 5 alarm treatment.Believe me. I am tired of asking for 4/5, 5/5, or "thai spicy" and getting something more akin to a single splash of tabasco. Not here, I got a true 5/5 setting my mouth on fire just as I wanted, finally, a place that does not hold back- and close to my house means I'll be back frequently.Order: Drunken Noodles 5/5, and it was perfect. I loved it.

Best Thai on the east side. Living in Anderson has made it hard to find good Thai. Worth the trip to Mariemont to get their Curry and Gyoza ?

Our absolute favorite for pad see ew, pad thai, and lo mein here locally. It's a neighborhood spot that feels easy to visit a couple times weekly, always a casual fun time and even when it's super busy, the staff is kind, patient, and attentive. Has been a go-to for dine in and takeout for me for years!

Almost always our number one go to Thai restaurant but tonight’s service was disappointing. I asked for no spice and husband asked for a 3, food was brought out with his being a 0 and mine a 3. Sent back after telling waitress he ordered a 3 and I ordered no spice. Food came back out and his was a bit spicer but rice was awful. So dry, tasted like it was microwaved rice. Mine was still messed up as they did a one for spice level. Drinks were also served lukewarm with 2 ice cubes. Disappointed to say the least as service has always been great here and of all the times we have came here have never had to send anything back.

We usually love the food here. But ordered takeout today of Thai Basil Chicken spicy, thai basil tofu spicy and pad Thai along with some gyoza and spring rolls. BothThai basil dishes were very bland and watery tasting mostly of fish sauce. It’s cold and rainy and not worth driving back to get fixed. Disappointing New Years Eve meal.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food and service of Mango Tree! Came here for my college graduation with a party of eight. The mango pineapple curry and assorted sushi were delicious. Nice thick and creamy coconut milk, generous portions and hearty vegetables in the curry. I ordered a spice level 2 and it was decent! Thank you for making this dinner so special.Vegetarian options: Fried tempura and vegetable fried rice rice and curry and noodle optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free options!

I have been coming here for years now. Never once have I ever had such terrible service. From the moment we walked in, I asked if it were possible to sit outside and immediately got an eye roll from Kylee (a server), as if she was annoyed everyone wanted to sit outside. Mind you, there were maybe 4 other parties outside and 1 party inside when we arrived. We decided to not be a hassle and to just sit inside. Well, Kylee was our server. Every part of the service was awful. She greeted us and didn’t seem happy at all. We understand sometimes you can have rough days being a server (my guest and I are both current servers), but to say we felt unwelcomed is an understatement. She never asked us how our food was or asked for refills (I sat there for a good while without a refill). Anytime Kylee came to the table she would barely talk to us, not even a “you’re welcome” when we thanked her….nothing. The only time she somewhat talked to us is when she asked if we wanted the bill. Now this is the part that infuriates me. When she took both mine and my guests card to check out, she walked straight to the kitchen and was in there for 5 mins, came out delivered food MULTIPLE times, took an order from a table, refilled drinks for another table. All while having a card either in her pocket or in the kitchen, we aren’t sure. Coming from a serving point of view, we would NEVER hold onto someone’s card for 8+ minutes doing other tasks, you should immediately check the guest out and give their card back. We are disappointed as we love Mango Tree so much, but truthfully Kylee made us feel unwelcomed in the near future. My advice to her… be more friendly, we all go through our own personal matters. I promise it is not hard to speak to a table and put a smile on your face.
