Horrible experience went there for my birthday dinner with a family of five on a monday afternoon. One other group seated in the back and maybe 3-4 people in the front bar area.We waited over 10 minutes at our table for NOBODY to stop by and get a drink order. Nada... Nothing... Nobody. Servers/staff milling about and all 6'05" of me looking around for service with no response. As we got up to leave, one of the servers even said "thanks for coming"...Oblivious.Don't bother with this place.
Everything about this place is about execution. Food service 10/10 would visit again. I walked in randomly, so happy I did. I’m a critical person, this was delightful.
Nice pizza and the nachos are much better than Buckhead. Servers are friendly and a big beer selection.
Long story short, this was a great experience. My fiancé and I came in on a night when they were short staffed but our server, Connor, handled it so well that it hardly affected us at all. He communicated the longer than usual wait times for food professionally and never left us waiting for drinks. Very amicable despite how busy he was— and I appreciated his suggestions when it came to something new to eat and drink at Pies & Pints. When our food came out, it was the same level of deliciousness that I’ve learned to expect from this location— even when they’re busy. You all are great!
We had a great time, the food was delicious and service was wonderful! Joe, our server, was dedicated to make our time here worthwhile. We were visiting from Tennessee, but if we find ourselves in this area again we will be sure to eat here again.
Chicken Gouda pizza was fabulous! Loved the Blood orange cider as well. Wait staff suggested an appetizer that was not as I expected. She was super nice and offered to take it off my bill. I insisted to leave it on as I had ate 2 pieces. My bill came and I was not charged for the appetizer. Super friendly staff and aiming to please and help the customer have the best experience possible. Kudos!
Eaten here twice. Great beer list, high-end pizzas, and our server was so friendly, helpful, and thoughtful that my parents (who live nearby) would go there just for her. (If you work there and are wondering who, no names but a hint: she told us she was heading to Ashville NC for vacation)
I've eaten here before and enjoyed it. It's not that anything was bad, it's the garlic and cheese bread...all you tasted was the cheese and bread, no garlic. We got the traditional crust 16 inch with half mushroom, sausage, pepperoni and banana peppers. It wasn't bad, was just so-so this time. Place and restrooms were very clean and even though it was 90 degrees outside they kept it nice in cool inside. Maybe just an off day...that happens. Nothing that would stop me from coming back.
Food was great and service was great too. Carly did a great job and was very helpful and nice. Grove city boyz approve @ethanm11300 on snap
We went to Pies and Pints for my son's birthday as it is his favorite place to go. the food was great. We had the absolute MOST UNPLEASANT experience with who I am assuming is the manager though. She was EXTREMELY condescending and treated us like we had no idea what we were talking about when we said our drinks did not taste the same as the first ones we ordered (when it was the bar who put the wrong drinks in the wrong glasses the first time and served them to us). She allowed the situation to escalate unnecessarily and then made faces as she was walking away. It was the easiest thing to fix, and it turned into the biggest, dumb thing for no reason. I think some customer service training would go a LONG way on that one. Good Lord.
Met my cousin for dines at the new pizza place. Really good pizza and wonderful rootbeer
This Pies & Pints location was the first one I’ve been to and it is the best one. Never had bad service here and Joe is the best server!!!! He can read your mind when it comes to selecting a beer. And obviously the food is great. They have the best wings and you can’t go wrong with any of the pizzas. You are missing out if you don’t come here!
Food: wide selection of pizzas. Wife got the White Pie without the garlic. "It was the best white pizza I have ever had" she said. I would've liked it with the garlic, but it was still pretty good. I got the Hot Mama. It was basic, but very good.Drinks: expansive drink menu. Draft beer, bottles and cans, mead, wine, and others. I got the Brothers mead; first time getting mead and I was pleased with it. They also have a draft root beer. Is there a positive difference between this draft and a can of barqs or AW? Yes. Is it worth it? I didn't think so, but you might think it is.Service: our server, Jada (unsure on spelling), did a fine job. Was very friendly and was quick to get refills and clean up. However, there was a break down in the service chain. Our bar drinks felt like they took some time to get to us. We also ordered an appetizer that never came
Appreciated the masked employees and distanced tables. Delicious food and beer. Great experience!
We are regulars of the original Pies and Pints in WV, and were thrilled to experience the same great quality that we expect from Pies and Pints. We had an excellent meal, and if anything the quality of toppings were better than expected! So happy to see the elephant on the wall lol! Thank you Josh Lively for keeping this restaurant true to the Pies and Pints experience, expanding so more people can enjoy it. Thank you to Jada for being a great server. If you haven’t tried Pies and Pints, give it a go. The black bean pizza is spicy but amazing and my personal favorite is the Italian. You can’t go wrong here!
