Had the pork bites and the fretboard burger. Pork bites were perfectly done and served with a green salsa, honey, and a spicy guac. Simply excellent. Fretboard burger was cooked to order, stacked well, and tasted fantastic. The beer cheese fries were a bit of a surprise - their fries have a crispy outside and are very light or airy inside. Really good.Parking: Looks like maybe 20 spots surrounding the joint on three sides.

Bourbon burger was great, service at the bar was top notch. Wife's thought her classic burger was a tiny bit undercooked, but it looked ok to me. Draft beer selection was very good with a lot of local craft selections. Will definitely return.

Its a laid-back burger shack with Jeff Ruby prices.I am sad to say I am editing my 5-star review I wrote 10 years ago. The food here is not worth the current extreme prices. I dined with my husband here recently who ordered the burger of the day after the waiter upsold him on the "hand-crafted" gouda cheese. We were very upset the waiter did not disclose the price of the burger- 35 dollars. THIRTY FIVE dollars for a quarter pound of meat, some not-so-very-special gouda cheese, and a bun. While the service team at Sammy's is above average, the walls are not insulated, the tables are wobbly, and the chairs are made of metal and are uncomfortable. If this place wants to charge $35 dollars for a burger, thats fine, but they need to change the atmosphere and vibes to match their menu prices. I truly wish we would have gone to Seasons 52 and ordered steaks. We spent over $70 on a meal for 2 people. No alcohol. Just 2 burgers and a soda for me. I honestly want the owner to charge as much as they need to to make a good profit, but they can't give "laid-back burger shack" vibes and proceed to charge more than Jeff Ruby.

Granted I haven't been in awhile. But the menu was completely overhauled. No bone in wings or Nathan's chili dog. I would take family from out of town there for the wings. On this occasion I had the Carna Asida Tocos. Between the 2 tacos I had maybe 4, 1/4" thick, 3" long pieces of steak with black beans for $20. The highlight of the meal was the black beans. Needless to say they lost a family of 8. The staff was cool, but no justification for us to return. I don't know who they cater to now. But spending over a $100 for 3 people and still hungry. No beer or bar drinks ($15 Oreo shake very pretty, No freaking Oreo's). You got me tonight, but never again.
