A beautiful art deco space and the fare / drinks / music were quite good. My wife and I ended up sitting at the bar where Morgan was doing quite the job taking care of the many thirsty patrons in his gentlemanly manner. He was the reason we came back the next evening!

Great place to get a drink and listen to music. Fabulous art deco surroundings, which really must be seen!, and good jazz trio, not so loud you can't have a conversation. Good place to eat. Apparently the chefis knew. The bunch of us (5) were only moderately hungry,, so we ordered light—soups, salads, one lighter entree that two of us split: the butternut squash ravioli. That dish was good—perhaps a little too sweet without being really offset by savory. The salads were all very nice—well seasoned, not over-dressed. I actually added salt and pepper to mine (a leafy salad) but then found it well-balanced in terms of acid-to-oil. Squash soup; someone had the roasted beets with chèvre and walnuts To my non-midwestern sensibilities, the main course menu items were not terribly appealing (pork, steak, meat in a cream sauce—yuck!—but I prefer less of an upscale and updated meat-and-potatoes kind of thing. I would have sprung for the black cod or salmon had I been hungrier. I wouldn't call the food inventive.. But we did enjoy the things we ordered.

It was less than average they're credit card machine went down and they manually had to write everybody's information down on a piece of paper. I think that was very unprofessional They should have been able to give us a credit or voucher or something also I got a Reuben, a half of a Reuben which I did not select was $16 I think that was overpriced for a half of a Reuben and fries

Food and Service were incredible. Our waiter, Corey, is obviously a seasoned professional and made the evening enjoyable. The art deco dining room is one of the most elegant in town and the jazz from the adjacent bar was just the right level. This is not to be confused with the old Orchids Restaurant. This dining experience is more relaxed without any pretentiousness. Will definitely be back.

Have eaten here for breakfast numerous times, and it is always delicious. This was my first time eating dinner, and it was just amazing. One of those rare times when the first bite just melts in your mouth and you want it to last forever. George, our waiter, was excellent and provided some great suggestions! Would definitely recommend!

We had an absolute delight of a breakfast on a Friday morning for my birthday. The food was perfect (read: Blue Oven English Muffins), the staff was extremely attentive, and the ambiance is INCREDIBLE because it's inside like THE most beautiful building.

I realize they haven't been open to long. So we went there giving them the benefit of the doubt. However, upon checking in for our reservations the host was weird. Almost like they didn't have a table and or server. A party of 4 came in off the street and got sat before us. Our server was ok. Being in the industry I could tell he was overwhelmed , us being his 4th table. The other 3 had eaten and or were on desert. The food was good but Luke warm. We could have had a few more cocktails had the server dropped by more. We ordered a side and got charges for the appetizer. They had a great Jazz band. BUT it was so loud even with us in the back of the restaurant we couldn't even hear each other.

Friendly service but a bit slow. I'm hopeful our server will be more experienced by our next visit It's a beautiful and interesting space. The cocktails were good and braised short rib was delicious.

Flavorful, well-executed dishes. (Seriously, food was excellent.) Warm, attentive service (not too much, just right!) from George. Cozy ambient noise did not interfere with intimate conversation. Stunning surroundings!

I wanted this to be so good because we loved Orchids, but it needs some time to get things right. Our server was kind and personable, but she wasn't paying much attention to us or the status of our orders. We received dinner before our salads, and the kitchen forgot my side of potatoes. The primary wine selection was very small. When you ask for a wine list, you get a pretty tattered stack of papers that looks more like an office inventory sheet than a wine list. Quality of food was good, but not great. The beet salad didn't have much goat cheese. They mix in their specialty house grits with a lot of plates and I had the scallops over the grits. Scallops were done correctly and delish, but the grits were pretty dry. Lots of little things about the service can be improved... The busboy cut in front of guests navigating through the dining room, the food runner was holding a huge tray of food when she came to our table with our appetizer in her other hand--I was nervous she was going to dump the whole tray of food on my wife as she was trying to set the appetizer on our table. The server took off the cost of the salads and gave us a desert on the house without us asking, which shows they do care. I may wait a year or two and come back to see if things improved, but for the price this is not the experience we expected. I hope it gets better!

The service was great, our server Deb was amazing and we loved the steak and crème brûlée. It's a great place for a night out with beautiful atmosphere and live jazz in the evening, go for dinner or a late night drink and dessert!

Terrible service. Worse food. The ambience of the beautiful historic room was ruined by the overly distracting glare of bright lighting in the adjacent breakfast area which was not in use.

Happy

Needs Training in every aspect of fine Dining!! no One Ready to greet us or Ready or ready to seat us tho many empty tables, Long wait to order drinks, loooooong waiting tmeto get drinks, then not how we ordered them. Could not split a salad in the kitchen, no room on the table for 4 to hold salad & dinner plates for the 3 of us , was our sacand and probably our last visit

This brunch is not what it used to be, unfortunately. It's now a very standard hotel brunch at a premium price. The location is still beautiful, but the food doesn't live up to its surroundings.
