“What a great place to catch up and coming bands - FANTASTIC staff and really really exceptional bar food (believe it or not the house made Hummus is out of control good, and Brussels Sprouts? Who knew ...) Great bartenders in both rooms, great music and food, what more can you ask for? Is this Cleveland?? ?Can't wait to come back....“
“We were looking for something close to home saw this restaurant the food was delicious, the kimchi macaroni salad is spicy but good if you enjoy spicy. Burgers and Fries were deliciousParking: Just past the restaurant on the same side is a free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: I saw online they have a kid menu,“
“Great food, friendly bartenders and the beautiful fireplace naturally becomes a great place to chat while you enjoy a terrific drink. Bartenders can make anything!! I was totally impressed by their knowledge and they provided great drink recommendations to a few guests in my party and their recommendations were very appealing to the eyes! Pretty drinks that were delicious were very appreciated by all of my female friends. Great vibes. Chill spot. I recommend.“
“As much as I like going out to new, hyped hotspots, I also love cozy, relaxed & casual dive bar vibes. Hoopples definitely hits the mark. Warm, friendly atmosphere, personable staff, solid drink selection, a simple menu with classic feel-good comfort food, darts & machine bowling, and local decor honoring Cleveland sports, motorcycle culture, and other local interests. Street parking is available. The establishment is also much bigger inside than it looks from the outside, with a good amount of seating inside and out on the patio. Hoopples has a mix of the after-work crowd winding down after a long day, locals having a good time to eat, drink, enjoy each other's company, and watch a sports game. I came on a weekday night, and while it was buzzing with energy, it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. Overall, if you're looking to have a casual, super laidback hangout spot, I would definitely recommend Hoopples!“
“Definitely a tavern. Gives off a small town vibe with similar comfort food to go with that vibe. I had the Jalapeno burger and boy was it good, but also quite spicy, so be warned! Hope they can expand their cocktail options a little in the future though as a lot of their drinks were beer based.Parking: Behind building off of Teidamin“
“Mabel’s BBQ is the creation of Iron Chef Michael Symon who happens to be a Cleveland native. It’s a cute little restaurant that offers a straight forward menu of smoked meats and accompaniments. His smoked meats are original tasting, exclusive to Symon with a unique flavor! The beef brisket (fatty or lean) fatty option was decadent and melted in our mouths! The turkey breast had a subdued flavor but with a little bbq sauce it was good. At least he offers this for people who are on restricted diets!Pickles, German style slaw, hot peppers and fresh baked traditional rye slices were perfectly matched. The side order of broccoli slaw was a good way for us to cleanse our palettes between using the Aardvark sauce and the Cleveland sauces on our meats. We liked that they served everything family style which is an option vs separate trays. The Apple pie they offer is from the top local bakery and was excellent with a cobbler style top. We asked for ala mode and that ice cream was top drawer too. One of the best we’ve had!Iron Chef Michael Symon did the research, homework and created a masterpiece of a restaurant! We really enjoyed our meal and will return. Next time we are each ordering a 1/2 pound of fatty and a 1/2 pound of lean brisket vs only the 1/2 pound! It’s that good! Turkey could have had a little more smoked flavor so I’ll pass on that.Mary our server was very attentive. We were in the outdoor dining area which was enjoyable and fun watching people go by.“
“Phenomenal fish fry...and don't need to experience it just during Lent! The grouper sandwich and batter dipped filet is available all the time. And with tater tots and slaw, it doesn't get much better! Hoppin' busy Friday night.“
“Recently moved to this side of town and it was late and wanted some food. Ordered a Philly and 10 wings. Wings were excellent perfect cook time. I brought it home and didn’t eat the Philly right away when I did the bread wasn’t soggy at all meat was seasoned, had no complaints. Will definitely be getting food from here again.“
“I could not recommend a better place for real people real good food real good times and the something about it that can't quite be in words where if you find yourself there Pat will make you feel like family. I had to get married there so I did.“
“I miss Benny's... But Lucky's got me emotional it felt like I was back home in ?? only thing missing was the playa/ Beach and the heat the food was delicious we got the buffalo wrap ,messy fries, wings, potato skins... Then the bathroom smells pretty and it's kept clean even the security ppl are nice and I love they have themed nights also that all DRINKS are 50% ALL DAY...“
“I really don't want to leave a five star review for Skinnys, why you ask, because I don't want everyone else coming in to ruin what is likely one of the best places to get a frosty mug and a decent burger with great people. so yeah don't come here. I don't want you to ruin a good thing! lol“
“Amazing food, great service. Patio is spacious and ideal for day drinking vibes. Menu is versatile and their quesadillas are sooooo good. Hookah, good music, food, and atmosphere is top tier. Recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat, drink, and catch a vibe.“
“This was such an awesome venue to watch our favorite band Grunge DNA. The food was spot on, definitely delicious! The atmosphere was off the hook awesome, the energy was epic. And our waitress was very attentive to all of her tables making sure everyone was happy. Thank you for such a great experience! One of the best Grunge DNA shows!!! Will definitely be back again!!!Cindy Gregor“
“Good vibes speak for itself. The drinks are great, the music , overall environment is a vibe. Adults, no kids, close to freeway .. my favorite is catfish nuggets.. service is bomb. Ask foe Ms Dee. Hostess with the most.. lights in your drinks with a “
“This was our first experience with ordering from here. Fresh ! Fresh ! Buffalo chicken wraps, 1 with crumble, 1 with ranch and 1 with blue cheese dressing. All came with fries. Fries were good, plenty of ketchup and napkins. Food was hot, wraps were grilled and huge, vegetables inside fresh, chicken was crispy dressing was good. Loved this wrap! Next time I would skip the fries and only order wrap. Too much food. Lol. I also ordered Caesar wrap to try grilled chicken. Not my fav, but if it had shaved parm, and some tomato slices it would be great. Romaine was crunchy and chicken was hot. Just a little plain. Overall I'll say great first experience! New good place to get take out !“
“I called to place an order, and you have to pay then. I was given an estimated time for pickup. It was a few minutes later, which was fine considering they'd the game on. The food was hot and fresh. The fish was the best I've had in Cleveland for awhile.Parking: They have a parking lot and are located on the corner with a lot of street parking available.“
“Food was delicious. I had the spinach dip and the philly cheese steak. The beer was cold and they had a lot of local options. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were very personable and attentive. I was there for the solar eclipse and made several friends at the bar with my extra eclipse glasses. Would definitely recommend visiting here.“
“We aren't bar people lol but we've been ordering to go from their kitchen and their food is really good and so fairly priced! 3 meals plus some extras last night cost $33 before tip..... You really can't beat it. Their burgers have been great every time we've ordered and they have good, beer battered fries. Also the bartender was completely amazing and receptive to learning harm reduction education from me with 0 resistance? They now have narcan behind their bar so they can respond to any overdose situation, if one were to occur, as well as other harm reduction tools and education materials she allowed me to leave for their customers to utilize and learn more I will Always support and advocate for businesses that are willing to help us save lives and combat this war on drugs“
“Ordered the “big guy”. They are known for 4th best burger in town. Well…. I’m thinking how, the 1/3 patty was not seasoned, special sauce was not as tangy and left the burger pretty plain.Thumbs up on the fresh cut fries, add malt vinegar and they pop with flavor. Would recommend as they are a dive in bar and have a great selection of spirits.“
“Best spot in Cleveland, hands down.My friends and I were in town to visit Ray's Bike Park and we stayed in Ohio City. B and G Tavern became our "go to" for every night after riding. Relaxed place with good choices in music and plenty of pool tables! The owners are amazing and super friendly! They get into the party spirit all while maintaining professional control over their establishment. Cheap drinks, good vibes, and the best citrus pepper wings I've ever had! Can't wait to visit again in February of 2024!“
“Stopped by for a Taco pop up with Puentes Tacos and enjoyed some drinks on Gino's beautiful patio. Seating was limited but they will be in full swing when the weather gets better. Bartenders were quick and friendly.Features: Huge beautiful patio with outside bar ?“
“Only been here to get take out wings. Garlic parm is great, do not love the bbq sauce but the wings are really good. The onion strings were pretty good too.Typical bar atmosphere inside which is fine if that's what you're into. Employees were friendly and I got my order even faster than they said over the phone.“
“Jukebox is HANDS DOWN the absolute best bar in Cleveland. I’m here a couple times of week and the food is delectable and the drinks are spectacular. However, what separates jukebox from all other bars is their dedication to hospitality. Everyone who works there is a joy and a pleasure to be around. Love you guys < 3“
“Solid place for beer and cider, friendly and quick staff also. Limited seating but if you find a spot it's a great place to watch the Browns game! Tons of TVs and not to rowdy. The food here is typical American and good for beer. Parking is tricky because you have to pay unless you find free street parking.“
“One of a few places I don’t mind spending hundreds on dinner! Very fancy & professional the pasta is out of this world and so are the appetizers. Our waiter was very kind helped us decide what to get! His recommendation we’re on point. I enjoyed this place very much. Will definitely be back soon.“
“Got to send a shout out to Gen's 176 and their food! The food execution is surprisingly exceptional. Good ole home cooking. Much is made from scratch. Great hand-pressed burgers and daily specials! Their homemade perogies might be the best in town which is saying something in Cleveland!“
“I went for the first time to watch the eclipse and had the best experience ever.Sat on the patio. Great service, awesome food, and great atmosphere. The other guests were super friendly and they even bought a few 4 legged friends. Definitely going back. It's my new favorite place.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu had everything a kid wants.“
“A very good value - two of us ate a sit-down "meat and potatoes" meal for less than $15 each. It's a bar on one side, a restaurant on the other. Several basic dinners for around $10, with the seafood items running up into the $30 range.Atmosphere feels like a "Mom and Pop" sort of place - comfortable and relaxed. The owner was on the floor, checking on things and bussing tables.Overall, thumbs up. Nothing fancy, great value.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building.“
“My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of this local bar and grill. We stopped in midday for a quick bite and Maria the hostess, bartender, waitress, chief cook and bottle washer, welcomed us like long lost family. My wife and I shared a fish dinner which was served hot right from the fryer and the French fries were hand cut. The menu is limited, but Maria ran through their daily specials for the week and shared that she prepared a lot of the items from scratch. We were even gifted a large cabbage from regular customer who brought it in to see if it might be needed on the grill for St. Patty’s Day. We will be back to try out the specials.“
“Mike T runs a Fantastic Tavern. Great Food, Great Staff, Great Bands. My wife had a Patty Melt last night she said it was the Best she's had in a very long time and that is a go to for her!!! Love this place. An Absolute Gem of Old Brooklyn!!!“
“I went in Dec 13th, on a Wednesday, the wings were amazing, the sauce was soooo good! went in again on the 27th the sauce for the same wings I got before was totally different. I’m not sure I’ll go back again unless I know the sauce will be consistent!“
“The Rowley Inn is a genuine dive with panache. The Rowley Inn has been long standing next to a Christmas Story House and Museum, so it has its fair share of foot traffic for being tucked away as it is. The food is epically phenomenal, with dishes native to cleveland that can only be found here due to other closers since 2020. Don't forget to pair it with a locally brewed cold draught.Parking: Parking is along the street as it's tucked away in a neighborhood.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheel chair accessibility“
