We hosted our wedding welcome party/reception at Great Lakes Brewing Company and cannot recommend them enough. They had great options of difference private spaces to choose from and the team was incredibly helpful every step of the way -- from picking the right size room, selecting to the menus, designing the floorplan, and flawless execution on the night of the event. Food was solid, beer was good, service was so-so (they were busy it’s ok), but the Bloody Mary was the WORST drink i think I’ve ever had in my entire life. We were all reeling from the night before and needed a cure, yet were left in a worse spot than we started. Might be our fault for ordering a bloody at a brewery but that’s another conversation!

Beer was great. Got a flight and loved the Irish Ale and the Strawberry Pineapple wheat was a terrific surprise. Downstairs vibe was just what we love in a brewery: intimate, old English feel. Bartender was a bit aloof which is a brewery ‘type’; a friendlier barkeep would have made the experience a 5.
