“A very clean and beautiful restaurant, quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Was greeted immediately and seated at a table, the man who was working there was super friendly and showed me the menu, gave recommendations and I ended up ordering the "dapanji stirred noodles(w/ bone in chicken thigh)" medium spice for $15.95 + $1.20 tax, portion was large and price is affordable and fair. It was delicious. I didn't get a picture because I started eating it as soon as it hit the table and it surprised me even. The food was well balanced and the potato was a nice touch to the dish which I enjoyed a lot. Was a little heavy on the sauce but very tasty none the less. The chicken was on the bone but was soft and didnt take much effort to get it off, was nice and tender. Took the rest I couldnt eat Togo and they even have reusable to go containers which was pretty cool, you won't have to worry about any broth spilling out on the car ride home.Definitely will be coming back and bringing my friends with me.“
“We picked the perfect time. No huge lunch crowd. Perfect viewing for the eclipse. The service was perfect, the food was delicious and nicely plated.Wonderful experience!Dietary restrictions: Very careful with food allergies! My gluten free meal was perfect!“
“Hand stretched noodles, hand made dumplings, and delicious soup broth like back home. Look, this is not one of those fancy, white tablecloth restaurants. Lan Zhou is a tiny, no frills spot where you can get homemade comfort food at very reasonable prices!手工拉面,手工水饺,家乡的味道,好?If you are driving, you might score one of the on-street spots in front of the door. Otherwise, park in the giant Student Union garage right across High Street. It’s a couple of bucks but covered, safe, and well lit.“
“Simply the best Chinese food in Columbus. Everything is made from scratch, its family owned and operated, and its very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of ingredients you are getting compared to other places. Their general Tso's chicken, egg drop soup and fried dumplings are my favorite picks, but everything they have is amazing.Vegetarian options: Mrs. Moy could name off probably a hundred options for vegetarian if you asked her. The restaurant is on Ohio State campus and there are many vegetarians in the area. They even leave out the meat in their wonton noodles to allow that to be an additional vegetarian option.Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate many different diets.Kid-friendliness: There won't be a lot of things there to distract them but the Moy's love kids and as long as you can keep your kids in their seat, you should be fine. I have taken 3 kids there (5 and under) with no problem.“
“A Culinary Delight!I recently dined at YF Chinese Cuisine, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was inviting, the service was top-notch, and the food was simply delicious. From the perfectly seasoned dishes to the attentive staff, every aspect exceeded my expectations. YF Chinese Cuisine is definitely a gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend it!“
“Bella was wonderful! I haven’t been to PF Chang’s in quite a while and she made wonderful recommendations to this born again newbie (she even guided us away from something too spicy for our liking!) I don’t expect much from chain restaurant, but Bella is setting a new standard.“
“I love the quality/variety of cuisine, the considerate service, the pleasant atmosphere - in short, everything about Chi Thai. My family and I have never been disappointed in an order here. We have come here for dinner and lunch (I love the Ma La string beans with tofu and hot and sour soup), and have gotten take-out as well (drunken noodles or pad thai, and vegetarian spring rolls heat up so well in the air fryer). We have also ordered catering for a large dinner evening at a local VFW, and they were beyond fantastic! They made sure to give us heaping quantities of everything at a great price, and even gave us recommendations on entrees and estimating quantities to order based on their/our prior events. Whether you want a few apps for two when you are on the run, a sit-down family dinner at home, a foodie night out for ten, or a party for your office, Chi Thai will make you so happy!Vegetarian options: There are many, many vegetarian offerings. You just have to ask for items to be made without meat or with tofu instead of meat. They are very very kind :)Dietary restrictions: The restaurant will do everything they can to help make items free of allergens. I am allergic to dairy, so this is not as big of a problem here, but I am also unable to digest meat. They modify dishes to include tofu instead of meat with no surcharge or question, and add extra vegetables to give extra nutrition.Parking: Loads of free parking“
“This is now our go to Asian food restaurant! Prices are reasonable, portions are huge, food is EXCELLENT. When we get carry out it feeds our family for days, I swear I can’t make this at home for less and it’s so much better. Also they have great variety on the menu and the service is always really friendly and welcoming. They do it right!“
“I have been coming here for 20 years (at one point my family could hum along to every Chinese instrumental song on the restaurant playlist) and it somehow tastes better and better every time. I absolutely love this place. Nothing's a miss on the menu, the bar pours a stiff drink, and Annie (the owner) is the kindest person. Super friendly waiters and I think, the one of best neighborhood, classic family restaurants in Columbus.“
“Red Chili Asian Kitchen is hands down the best spot for Chinese cuisine in downtown Columbus. Their Szechuan chicken is an absolute standout, delivering a perfect balance of spice and flavor that keeps me coming back for more. While the seating may be limited and the ambiance not the greatest, the taste of their dishes is truly superior. If you're craving authentic and delicious Chinese food, don't hesitate to give Red Chili Asian Kitchen a try. Your taste buds will thank you!“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant. Food is always good and with no surprise or mistakes.Parking: Large lot with excellent lighting.Kid-friendliness: Spacious dining area.Wheelchair accessibility: Only issue would be no mechanical door, however the door isn't heavy.“
“The man on cashier was so nice and we had a good conversation while i waited for my food. I got Habachi Shrimp and Spring roll. The price is amazing for the portion and for what you get. they do not skimp! the spring roll isn’t what i expected only because i grew up with spring rolls being something different than what i got; but it was good! the man had service so great that that alone made me want to come back. i’ll definitely be back again soon!“
“Service was awesome all of the way thru, food was perfect are waiter he was the best or one of the best waiters I've ever had, definitely awesome. Clean booth area including below floor, restrooms ; spacious restaurant looked super great!! Thank You so much!!Parking: Definitely awesome but it can't keep up with the service or spacious restaurant. Luck of the draw though ?.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I’ve been on the road for five months and it’s always hit or miss with Chinese restaurants in a town you are unfamiliar with. This one was a big hit. The portions for what you pay for. A great sauces are amazing. Quality was good definitely recommend.“
“Absolutely LOVE this place! We come like once a week in the winter. Always get the hot pot. Good stays fresh and tastes so good!!!! Literally a ritual for us. I used to have hot pot when I lived in Boston and love how many options this particular place offers.“
“Everyone has been really nice & professional. The atmosphere here was pleasant & everything seemed clean & in order. As far as the food, it's my 2nd favorite local restaurant that serves Asian food. Everything we have tried here has been really good & you definitely have enough to share or eat the rest of your meal later.“
“I go to many Chinese restaurants looking for something that isn't American-Chinese masquerading as authentic gourmet Chinese. This place is about as close as you're going to get in Columbus for real Asian food. It probably helps they are conveniently located next to the best Asian supermarket in the city.I have went a few times, and enjoyed every visit. I tried the duck bone stirfry, which was awesome. They have these dumplings in chilli oil that are just killer. Order it just for the oil and add it to your rice. Pour it on your eggroll, or whatever. It's that damn good. I think it's a homemade szechuan peppercorn oil. They have many Thai dishes as well. I got their Thai Red Curry. It's way better than Hunan Lions Curry, but honestly just average. I make my own Thai curry from scratch though. I do give them props for at least using shrimp paste, and having some flavor.Their chicken egg rolls and ragoons are also good.So much crazy stuff on the menu for adventurous eaters. Want a Duck Blood or Frog based dish? They have many. Lots of tripe dishes, and other odd stirfry's. I will be trying those soon and editing this review.Overall, the food is pretty good if you order right, and if you don't order right, it's still OK.As far as service, it's an Asian restaurant. Completely different culture. Come here for the food, not the service. Be happy a restaurant exists in Columbus that isn't Human Lion or Lucky Dragon.I have added Xin Wei to my rotation. Out of probably over 100 restaurants in the city, this is one of a out 5 that I have given this honor.Come here for real Asian food, and you will be happy. Come here for the Karen American-Chinese specials, and miss out on what this place has to offer.“
“Excellent Chinese food. Good portions and prices. Always delicious and fresh! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Somehow they always seem to have my order ready when I show up even if it’s before the 10 minutes. I don’t know how they do it! Great little hidden gem for great strip mall Chinese!“
“Went here with my brother to catch up over dinner and honestly had the best service! The server was very kind and accommodating, we also spoke to the chef who was very friendly! The food was amazing we are definitely coming back, 5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Oh man. This was my first time trying Biang Biang noodles and these were incredible. Amazingly flavorful, salty, garlicky, and chewy. Tender meat, and wonderfully crisp veggies. If you love a good thick chewy noodle and strong flavors, this is the dish for you. They don't hold back on the chili. My partner got the Yuxiang pork and that was absolutely delicious too. The flavor starts off as a strong, vinegary taste, though this quickly melts into a subtle sweet flavor. Very tender. Generous portion of meat.Server was very sweet and the whole place was very cozy :-)“
“Really great service!!! This was my first time but definitely not my last. I asked a lot of questions and our waitress was very helpful. We went for a friend's birthday and we all loved our food ❤️ the drinks were good too and strong I could only have 1 but it was great ? I would highly recommend the ? wings ?Vegetarian options: Veggie fried rice and several other options“
“I stopped in here for lunch because I had never tried it. It was pretty busy! The ambiance was very lacking for dine in eating. However, the staff was friendly and my order was just as I had ordered.Generally, I order General Tso as a basis because I have had excellent and terrible experiences with this particular dish.Overall, the food was good but just shy of what I consider 5 star on flavor and presentation.I think I will return on a different day to test consistency and also take the opportunity to try something new.“
“Basic American Chinese takeout place where exchange happens through a window. There is no dine in!Food was alright, rice could be fresher and sauces were basic stuff, but I can't complain about the cost ($6.75 for lunch combos). Ample serving size. You can order ahead and pick up when you're passing by. The only real downside is that it's somewhat out of the way for a lot of folks who could use cheaper meals.Parking: Tons of free parking around the building.“
“I will definitely return. I live 14 minutes away. I arrived a little late....On my way home, I stopped to fill up the gas tank. Then I headed to the store for drinks, but on the way got pulled over. Got away with a warning, went on my way, and my food was still hot enough to burn my mouth. It was also tasty. Would recommend.“
“I try to go here weekly, always great food and great service. The meat is always plentiful and the veggies are always fresh.Vegetarian options: The vegetable medley and the multiple various tofu options are all delicious, I've tried them myself for some variety and they did not disappoint.Dietary restrictions: I tell Ping about my dietary restriction and she makes sure they accommodate without issues.Parking: Plenty of parking on the side, right next to the building. There's some parking in front too but they can fill up sometimes.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything to enter the building is flat, handicap parking is right next to the door, tables are accessible.“
“⭐ Great food? Great prices⏩ Speedy service? Nice employeesThey listen when you ask for "Extra Spicy" ?️ ?Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsParking: Free parking lot, handicap spots availableWheelchair accessibility: It is handicap accessible“
“Ordered food to go. Chicken & broccoli was really good. Husband had the house lo mein, said it was very good as well. We shared a crab rangoon appetizer. They were delicious. Freshness & crispness in each bite. Filling was creamy & smooth.Nice, polite young lady waited on us. Talked about setting up for a super bowl party coming in tonight.Inside is relaxing, clean & not overly decorated. Will go back to dine in.“
“I have seen so many crossing bridge noodle videos but never tried it until I came here. It was even better than I imagined. The dishes were served with an excellent presentation. The soup had a rich flavor but not too salty. I loved adding those tiny and fresh dishes to the soup to complete the dish. Of course, the noodles were silky and pleasantly chewy. I have not mentioned that the vibe and the services exceeded expectations. I will definitely come back again and again.“
“This is the kinda place where the food speaks for itself, because the restaurant isnt doing much speaking. The place is extremely unassuming, not decorated much, not the cleanest. The vibes are the opposite of immaculate, but that's okay. I've been to enough small asian restaurants to know it doesn't truly matter.Whatever misgivings i might've had about this place disappeared immediately when I had a bite of the beef in my beef noodle soup. I opted to order off the non-english menu, thanks to Google translate. That beef was so flavorful, so tender, i felt myself ascend. They weren't afraid to give me the 'less desirable' pieces of meat that a standard american wouldn't eat, but I loved. Cant tell if its because i ordered off the non-english menu or if its just me being Asian. Noodles were chewy and VERY plentiful. I got non-spicy but took a little bit of chili oil since I'm a weenie. My partner went with the Dan Dan noodles, which were delicious. Very flavorful, probably the most complex Dan Dan noodes I've ever tried (that's a compliment.) Not spicy enough for my partner's taste so they got some chili oil.We spent $24 (including tip) for a monstrous amount of food, so very affordable. Guy taking our order spoke mandarin, english, and spanish, which us just awesome.“
“The food is your usual 'culprits' when ordering chinese food. the food quality is great; though I will say the beef on a stick can be hit or miss due to how long they're cooked for.The female staffer in the front is always cheery and ready to help. Overall, recommend if you want a quick bite.“
“I don't carewhat anyone says this is the best fried rice in the state. I had stopped eating Asian food for almost 2 years because nothing came close to a different establishment back in my home state... this place was a God send. Try the chicken fried rice hot&spicy its amazing! Also to note always able to pick up in 10 minutes very prompt and nice people.“
“BETTER THAN KUNG FU TEA. Omg! Delicious!!! The watermelon tea is made with real watermelon chunks unlike drinks you get at Starbucks which are made with gross, super sweet powders and syrups. Everything at KHouse is fresh tasting. I also got the latte, yogurt, and strawberry cake. I would rate everything an 11/10. Everything reminds me of what I get in Flushing, NYC (Chinatown).“
“Fast. Delicious. And now.....online ordering! One of our go-to places when the planned groceries didn't last as far into the week as we expected. It is also that special celebration dinner where you are hankering for a good meal. They do have options other than the dishes you expect from a Chinese cuisine hot spot. Our son really likes their fried chicken tenders. If you are a fan of General Tso's Chicken but don't always want the breading, try the Chicken Fried Rice with a side of General Tso sauce. Yummy in the tummy.Portion sizes are huge. You can easily get 2-3 meals out of an entree. Get enough egg rolls, and you are enjoying some good eats for a few meals. No wrong decisions to be made.“
“I placed a Door Dash order Friday night at 7pm.Based upon another favorable review I ordered an egg roll and I agree it was delicious!I ordered Chicken Lo-Mein and it was fresh with great flavor. The order followed my special notes (requested side of sauce and no veggies in Lo Mein). The chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked. The price was favorable as well.I would definitely order from here again.[Note: I never give 5 stars on my first experience with takeout. I will update accordingly after my follow-up experience.]“
“I love ordering food from here. Personally I get take out, but I’ve dined in once or twice. The quality of the food is pretty good even when it’s take out and the portions are very large, which I love. They’ve got a large menu and I’ve personally never been disappointed by anything I’ve tried even if I’ve never had it before. I come back for the Tom Kha Gai and Thai dumplings regularly. I also recommend the orange chicken, lo mein, beef buns and pad thai. I think I’ve been getting this place pretty regularly for a few months now and I’m always happy with the food :)“
“Been meaning to try this place for years now, finally made it in. This place rules. I can’t wait to go back. Had the spicy beef noodle soup and spring rolls. Spring rolls were a little undercooked but I can forgive it. The soup was great, and an absolute ton of food. The guy who took my order was great. No notes. Keep it up.“
“Very low key and easily missed spot, walked in with not very high expectations but was absolutely taken aback by how delicious the food was. I don’t care about “atmosphere” If I go somewhere for food all I care about is the food being good and it was AMAZING. My boyfriend won’t shut up about how fresh the egg rolls tasted but he’s right lol. prices are fair for how much food you get. I ordered a large and couldn’t finish it, so I got lunch and dinner out of one meal.“
“Being from Houston, TX, and it being a giant melting pot and huge Chinatown, I’m pretty picky about my Chinese/Asian food. Finally, I’ve found a restaurant that’s up to par with the food back home! We got the Sesame Chicken (left), Salt & Pepper Squid (middle) and the Beef Chow Fun (right). The Sesame Chicken had the right amount of crunch with the fried breading. The sauce was a little thick but still really good. The Salt & Pepper Squid, an all time favorite of mine, was salty, savory and crunchy. The Beef Chow Fun was flavorful and the pieces of beef in it were a great touch. There was only one other family in the restaurant since we came an hour before closing but the staff male member was incredibly fast and efficient with getting us seated, delivering waters right away and bringing our food out fast.Definitely found my new go-to Chinese restaurant for dine-in and to-go!“
“Don't let the size of Buckeye Asian Express fool you. Given the size of their space, they put out a lot of good food for their customers at a reasonable price. When you enter the store, you can see the entire kitchen. You may want to take note of the cleanliness of the kitchen. The remainder of the restaurant is the entryway, a counter to serve folks from and a table and a few chairs in the off chance that there is a wait. Which, by the way, if you do have to wait there is a puzzle on the table to work so that you can entertain yourself. I have only ever been disappointed once when ordering here. Come on, everyone has an off night now and again. They do made to order spice levels and always have a smile. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a chance. The portions are plentiful, the quality of the food is high , prices are reasonable and the service is always great.Vegetarian options: There are 13 different dishes that are vegetarian. These consist of offerings with string beans, tofu, mixed vegetables mushrooms, and nuts. Of the 13 dishes, there are 6 spicy dishes and the other 7 are not spicy.Dietary restrictions: They do not use MSG.Parking: Parking is located directly in front of the store and is shared with a few other businesses that are close by.“
“So. I had the medium size Beef fried rice. It was good. I'm an anti pea person in my fried rice and there was no peas; I was Happy. They do put a good amount of bean sprouts and onions in the rice. I will definitely be back again to check them out again for other options.“
“Love, love, love the egg rolls. No other place has egg rolls like them. All the other dishes are great. The meats are tender. No chewy here. Staff are long-term employees. The decor could be upgraded, but you forget about all that when you taste the food. They serve homemade bread with butter. Odd for a Chinese restaurant, but oh, so tasty.“
“I was thrilled to hear this Asian restaurant was still open. It is under new ownership and the food is just as good! The portions were very generous and the staff was friendly. The owner was very helpful and appreciative of our business. The strip of businesses is all that remains from City Center Mall. Very glad this restaurant is still open. I'll be back!“
“Best place in the whole city, the atmosphere is kinda rough but that’s what makes this place a hidden gem and it’s super underrated and amazing, anyone who loves Chinese food needs to support this place so we can keep it open for business hopefully forever.“
“My wife, daughter and I had lunch at Gengis Grill. We all had the small bowl special that included egg roll and drink. We all agreed food was very good and prices were very fair for the portion and everything that was included.Employees were very helpful and friendly..We will definitely be back when we are in the OSU area.“
“Ordered take out on a Saturday evening. Wait time was decent. We ordered tofu pad thai, general tso tofu, fried shrimp, veggie tempura, and a veggie tempura sushi roll. Overall the food was good. I would return if I lived in the area.“
“I was in the neighborhood, and in my experience Chinese spots in the ghetto tend to be the best. It’s not the most ghetto ghetto, but it counts, and I generally can’t pass up the opportunity to try a new Chinese restaurant.Besides the phad thai, which was ok, and the fried rice? which looks like turmeric rice and lacks the soy sauce/msg umami flavor I crave, the sesame chicken was pretty good and spicy surprisingly. The beef lo mein was as expected. My 2 brothers knocked it out in 5 minutes. The chicken fried rice was meh (why is the chicken so bright white? like I was genuine sussed out by this). That aside, the crab rangoon was the real star of the show. Crispy, flaky, creamy not too cheesy BUSSIN down your chin good (really happened to our beards), and they provide a generous cup of that strawberry sauce stuff. This is the only reason I may go 10+ miles out of my way to get 2-3 orders of these rangoons alone.“
“Kind of a tiny place but very cozy. I got sweet and sour chicken and an egg roll. The food was definitely made from scratch so it was really tasty. The egg roll was cabbage forward which I liked and cooked perfect. The sweet and sour chicken was a light breading so it was tasty and the meat was “
“Nice hidden secret..Great food and good service w friendly staff.Small quiet place with 7-10tables. Located in the Busch Town center plaza and not the greatest plaza (homeless drug activity) But just lock ur car doors and park in front of the restaurant big picture window..Don't sweat it .It's worth it...“
“Solid Chinese restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. I've ordered online for delivery a few times and I can say that it's consistently what you would expect in Americanized Chinese takeout. I've tried the fried rice, vegetable spring rolls, crab rangoon, maLa string beans, and the general Tso's with tofu. The portions are a good size and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The spring rolls and crab rangoon were yummy, I mean, you can't go wrong with anything fried. I really liked the string beans and they were just as good heated up. The fried rice wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked, but also good heated up as a second meal. I'm really picky about tofu dishes because sauce makes tofu rather soggy after transporting, but it was pretty good. I've heard that Chinese restaurants with a 3.5 rating are the true hidden gems and I'm glad I gave them a try. I'd totally order here again whenever I'm in the mood for easy Chinese.“
“We’ve been here a few times now and every time we try something it turns out amazing. I would highly recommend the ribs! The two brothers are always so kind and they remember us when we come in!! Calm and inviting atmosphere. The food is always plated nicely and the portions are worth the money! We will continue to come back!!“
