We came after lunch hour. Service was friendly, attentive and food for 6 was ready more quickly than I would have imagined. The decor was not trendy but this is a place that's more concerned with hearty meals and good service.
I love being able to get a good hearty meal that leaves me feeling satisfied, but not bogged down. This place has a soup and salad bar available with their dinners, so I had the fish and french fry basket with lots of soup and salad. The fish wasn't too heavily breaded, the fries weren't too greasy and the salad was satisfying. I've also had their gyro before and it's very good as well. I'll definitely be coming back.

Good food, good prices, good service. If you like the Starlight Diner on Smithville, you'll like Airway Kitchen. Same people, same food. We were pleasantly surprised that even our favorite server, Rosie, was there.
