In for the International Wine Festival . Busy event with wines from California.. mid west... fingers crossed lakes... Spain...Italy...France... South Africa....Australia... tastings at both the station and the event center. Yes.. the old Kings Island monorail was moving people between both locations.
We visited the Oscar Station for the annual Jungle Jim's International Craft Beer Festival. The space is really cool and has plenty of room, indoors and outdoors to entertain people. There is a bar area with a very cool dry-cleaner style conveyor belt where they have different bottles on display. There's comfortable seating at the bar as well as tables off to the side. Nice evening out with my cigar buddies. Everyone commented that the food was good, tacos, charcuterie and I enjoyed the kangaroo crustini...first time trying kangaroo tasted like steak. Good drinks, nicely priced. The raffle was fun as well. Very chilly inside, dress warmly...cold feet.
